Sanceul instantly abandoned her hostile façade, all focus trained on the femora ahead, who had sufficiently stunned Sanceul into momentary silence. Are you… are you serious!? I mean, you’d travel with us… that’d be, well, freaking strange. Of course, everything I’ve been through with the big guy has been crazy, but to add another wolf to the group? Gah, I don’t even know this person! And… erg, this is waaaay too awkward.
“Uh…” the fox-like fae began, jolting her vocal cords into functionality. “Well, I mean, I don’t know who you are, if you’re ‘evil’ or not… but hey, if they killed your daughter, I guess I have to believe ya. So… umm… sure?”
Of course, if you start getting on my nerves, I may have to reconsider. Dang, this day has been nuts. I mean… who the hell is she, anyways!? I can’t believe that I’m even considering allowing a Hellfirian travel with us…!
Damien is a Hellfirian.
Well, yes… but he’s different.
“Erm… what do you think, Damien?” Sanceul woofed, glancing toward him, an “I am majorly confuzzled” expression on her muzzle. “You know her better than I do. Should we?”

Well...that's...not what I was expecting...
Damien blinked, wide-eyed, between Sanceul and Sylvana, the possibilities bouncing back and forth in his mind. Pros and cons all lined up, ready for him to rail off for whatever verdict he chose. Damien found himself torn, watching Sylvana's pleading gaze and Sanceul's perplexed one.
"What do you think, Damien?"
The first rebuff that came to mind was Zeffen. What will he think when he finds her, and if he found her last time, he'll find her again, with me? He'll assume the worst, won't he? Try and rip my brains out -- I'm too young for that! He'll never join up with us....he'll join Blood Mist and what will happen to Sylvana? Either she'll get dragged off there, where they'll kill her when he's not looking, or Zeffen will eventually travel with us, too, and I don't even know the guy -- I wouldn't trust him enough to do that. My trust with Sylvana is shaky as is, seeing as last time she left us to her mate's merciless claws. What's to stop her from turning on us when he shows up, or the going gets tough? What's to stop Blood Mist from coming with Zeffen to find her?
But then, there was the other side, too.
Her daughter? Wasn't her name Saskia or something like that? What would Zeffen say if he knew this? I've only met the guy all of one time, that time he tried to kill us, but I'm trying to judge this based on my idea of how mates should act....which, seeing as Babylonia and Ashur exist, could be completely and ridiculously off. But his only child? Can Hellfirians have children? He felt an uncomfortable twinge in his stomach as he thought about what this might mean for him. She's sincere, I can tell....but honestly, I'm not hugely sure about how we avoid Blood Mist, anyway. In any case, if she joins us....and she stays, then Zeffen will join us, too, eventually. But again, would he be so quick to attack or assume once he knew what Sylvana saw? She probably came straight here and not to him because she didn't want to risk running into more Blood Mist wolves.
Damien gazed blankly at Sylvana, eyes pleading and teary, but fierce and resigned as well.
"I think...it has potential dangers, but I also think she speaks truth...Sylvana, where is Zeffen?" He barked at last.
"Zeffen? I don't know, I came here after getting rid of Babylonia. Too risky to look for him now."
So that confirms what I thought. He shifted his eyes towards Sanceul, a bit of selfish sadness at the thought it would no longer be just the two of them. "What do you think?"
