Creamy colored fur blurred past the Sleeping Caves, then past again. Rigatoni was running back and forth, hopefully not making a scene. That night he couldn't sleep, and well, this was how Bertoli and him made it easier to sleep when they couldn't. This was definately unusual behavior, but what else could he do besides sit there? Running back and forth would hopefully make him tired, and he would be able to sleep then. After a few laps, he'd started getting cramps in his stomach, and he decided to quit. The hard breathing wolf took his place in the Sleeping Caves, laying down carefully, and his irregular breathing echoed off the walls. Luckily, no one had entered yet. He was one of those wolves who liked to be the first to sleep so he could get the best available bed there. He chose his gingerly, locating the freshest and softest bedding. After making himself comfortable, he could tell that the excersize had done its work, making his heart beat wildly but making drowsiness overwhelm him. Right now he wasn't his normal peppy and happy self. After being seperated from his brother, his best friend, he hadn't been able to sleep for days. He missed Bertoli so much, and without his cheesy brother to talk to he was lonesome and more depressed than usual. "Aye, Berolti, are you tinking de same as me? I mees you!" He said to the ceiling, wishing that he could send messages to his far away brother. "Why deed I ay-ver come to dees Pack? Why deed I not stay weeth Bertoli?" Now he was just speaking in a whisper, laying his head down. Not only did he miss Bertoli, his brother, but his sister, Euro. And her daughter, Parmesan. He couldn't imagine the pain they would be feeling compare to his. Being seperated from your parents or child was much worse than what he was experiencing. It was unimaginable.
"I mees dem." He said pitifully. "Oh..." Then he closed his eyes, hoping that the excersize would put him to sleep quickly.

He had been dreaming when an accented voice rebounded off the walls in the dens. Jolon put his ears down to his back, trying to keep the noise out, but it was hopeless. Finally, the wolf lay down, but by now he was wide awake. Opening his eyes he looked around to where he heard the paw steps end. A creamy wolf was laying down which was obviously having a hard time sleeping, considering the paw marks in the clearing outside. Jolon shook himself while he walked over to the wolf. It had a weird accent and that accent had woken him up. He couldn't help, but growl lowly at this wolf as he made his way. The sound of his growl grew when he finally approached the creamy male. The scent of this wolf was odd and defiantly told Jolon that this was a new wolf to Yozoran pack. "If you would be so considerate to not talk and pace near the sleeping dens, I'm sure you made a right choice to join this pack," he growled softly. The heaviness of sleep was making him feel groggy and mad at his waker, but he was trying not to get really mad at this wolf.

Rigatoni slightly shrunk away from the almost hostile wolf. Apparently he wasn't the only one there, which embarrassed him. But as the wolf growled at him, his hopes became weaker. The first thing he wanted here was a friend, and he'd already made an enemy. His eyes wandered around the cave, wondering if anyone else was there, and when he knew they were alone he stood up. Rigatoni was an unusually large wolf, his neatly groomed fur starting to puff out in his chest, his eyes twinkling with the same amount of 'almost hostile' behavior as Jolon. He was thin and lean, of course, not comparing to Jolon's bulky size, but he was tall and muscular at the same time. His skinny shape did not give him disadvantage in a fight, but the speed it allowed sometimes made him stronger than his opponent. The words "...the right choice to join this Pack." made his ears throb with them, and he wanted to vomit them out. "Right choice? You teenk dees Pack was thee right choice? Eet was awl wrong, no right! Me brother ees out dare, me seester, out dare too! Her daughter, out dare alone. None of us awre together anymore!" It came out in a growl like Jolon's, but wanted to come out in tears. Unlike his brother, Bertolli, he knew when not to back down from something hostile. If Bertolli was here, he'd be cracking some joke and smiling, not even comprehending the danger. "Mamma Mia, ge-tover it an' go to sleep! We awl have days when we cawn't sleep! Oi!"
(Hahaha! XD I love him! "Mamma Mia,... Oi!" Priceless! This idea was brilliant! XD)

Jolon's amber gaze just watched the wolf slink away just a little then look around to see if anyone else was in the dens. Then the new wolf got up, puffing out his chest and his eyes looked at Jolon with the same hostility. Jolon wasn't going to step down until he figured out why this wolf woke him up. Luckily no one else was in the dens or this wolf would get a hearty welcome of more growls. His ears listened to the wolf who was now talking. Clearly he wasn't from these parts with an accent like that. Nevertheless, Jolon could understand him.
"Yes we have all day to sleep, but only at this moment can I sleep. Warriors have chores to do for their pack and battles to prepare for. Right now I am aloud to rest for a while and I don't want someone taking it. As you can see I'm pretty mad, not necessarily at you, but at being woken up.......Wait, are you saying your family are by themselves in the valley or in another pack?," Jolon stated to this wolf. In the middle of what he was trying to say he'd stopped when another thought struck him and he had to say it because it didn't make sense to him.

A sigh escaped before Rigatoni could answer. "Aye, I'm sorry for waking you. I just mees me fawmeelee. Me brother, een dee Dees--dees--deesteeneenan Pack. Me seester, een dee Seeveereean Pawk. Me neece, me seester's daughter, een dee Shee-sheerawn pack. We apawrt." The only reason he wasn't attacking this wolf was 1. he is a Packmate and 2. he was only mad about being woken. But at a time like this, how could Rigatoni sleep? He was miserable. Slowlly he bowed his head. "Me name ees Rigatoni (Ree-ga-toe-nee). Nice to meetch yooh."

Jolon listened intently, trying hard to understand why'll the wolf stumbled over the new words. Yep....defiantly not from around here. "Nice to meet you too Rigatoni, my name is Jolon. I'm sorry to hear that your family is appart Why did you all choose to separate?," Jolon asked and relaxed. This wolf had problems and part of him really wanted to help. His eyes looked at the wolf hopefully for the answer, but with none of the anger from before.

There was something about this wolf he didn't really like. Yet he wanted to know this wolf. Jolon had something to say... He couldn't imagine telling Jolon something after he'd just met him. In fact, he didn't want to tell anyone. They'd chose to keep it secret from Parmesan, simply because she was young. There had been problems between them at the time. "Eet all started when Euro becawm pregnent. Er mate was, er, not easy to get a-long weeth. He was getting een our way." He tried not to go into detail with the black wolf. "Wee soon deecided to chase heem away. Euro wasn't happy, and we started getteeng een fights. Bertoli and I didn't argue, but when we wawnted too leeve Euro she protested us being together. Shee said eet wasn't fair. She got angry, and left her daughter because she reminded her of her mate. Wee never told Parmesan. It would hert 'er." He muttered it slightly, ashamed of his sister. He figured that Euro had become the great and caring wolf she had always been again, rather than how she'd gone mad with Bertoli and Rigatoni. She'd hated the idea of chasing her mate away, even though he had been doing much more than "Getting in the way". All was confusing with Rigatoni, and all he wanted was to be with his brother again. They'd been so close, and like before, he hadn't told Jolon the whole truth. Euro wasn't why they parted, but they had their reasons. It wasn't... 'healthy' for them to stay in the same Pack. Wrong choice of words, yes, because they'd been the perfect pair. One cared for the other. They had the strongest bond than any other brothers. A deep sigh escaped Rigatoni.
(Phew. Glad to have posted! I'm still busy, but I found the time! ^^)

It was a very wierd story to hear, but Jolon listened through the whole thing. This wolf defiantly had a lot of drama in his life but so did he so he couldn't really say anything. Jolon's eyes softened a bit with no aggression what so ever now. "I'm sad to hear that that happened with the family you had. It would make me worried as well," he said with a pained note. He couldn't help, but think that this wolf shouldn't be so worried and sad...at least he had a family still! Jolon just pushed the thought away. This wolfs' problem all started with wolves wanting mates. Golden wolf! Was something always not going to work out with mates? There always seemed to be one, always. A yawn escaped him and he put his ears down in apology. This wolf interested him and he didn't mean to be rude. Jolon remained silent while he waited to hear what would be said.
(I'm so sorry I haven't been posting! I've been rather busy with school and my mom had surgery. )

As the wolf's tone started to fade to a less hostile voice, he offered a smile. It was not like Bertolli's, but a crooked half smile that was warm and welcoming. "Tank you." It didn't help that he was pittied and being apologized to. The only way he could really mean the phrase "tank you" was if somehow Jolon managed to bring his family back together. There was nothing more he wanted than that. But for now, he would have to settle for what he had. His Pack was his home now, and these wolves would have to be his friends. --- Vivichi's eyes sparkled mischeviously. All she could think of was her successful hunt of the deer she'd just killed and devoured. The remains stuck to her maw, and she licked them off with enthusiasm. As she was ready to settle for sleep she couldn't help but notice two wolves. Jolon, her best friend. Her tail wagged, but as she noticed the other wolf it slowed down. She'd never seen him before. A handsome, cream wolf with a white patch on his eye and white streaks across his side and tail. He seemed different, and the way Jolon looked at the wolf gave her the idea he wasn't normal. The cream wolf was breathing oddly hard, as if he had been running, and his sparkly eyes were drawn to her. For some reason she was eager to meet him, for the way he smiled and gazed was oddly drawing her to him. "Hello. My name is Vivichi." But her smile slowly faded as she realized something. This new wolf wasn't staring at her. He was staring at her eye, the one that was not there, and his smile began to fade. An uncomfortable, sad, and low rumble echoed softly in her throat. "What's yours?"

"No problem," he said. Then he looked up when a familiar scent came to his nose. It was Vivichi. She then came up and this new wolf looked up at her. She told her name then added the question about what his was with a somewhat almost angry tone to it from what Jolon could tell. Something about this new wolf was making her mad at him or full of contempt. There was so many emotions sometimes you could never figure out what a wolf was feeling. He looked at her then at the male, wondering what was going to happen.

Rigatoni couldn't keep his eyes away. Part of him said 'Ewww, get that hideous thing away!' and another said 'Poor thing'. Apparently the location of his eyes were making her angry, and until she had growled he almost forgot what she had said. He struggled to drag his eyes away, knowing it was oddly rude, but he repreatedly glanced back to them. The female, one eyed wolf named Vivichi was not going to accept that though. "Rigatoni." He said, obviously struggling not to look at her missing eye. His were on the ground. Slowly his teeth clenched, and he bit his toungue not to ask what had happened to the ugly fae. --- Angry tears welled in her one eye, and Vivichi turned to walk to Jolon. Like Rigatoni, she had two sides. Part of her wanted to kick Rigatoni's hiney, the other wanting to walk away with Jolon. Her amber eye was glittering with frustration. She forced herself to sit down, throwing poison darts at Rigatoni through her pupils, daring him to look her in the face. Her glare was the most threatening it had ever been in a life time. After spending so much time with Jolon, she felt like she was complete with two eyes, and this moment felt like the first time someone had stared at her. Normally, she'd be able to tolerate it, but since it had been so long since something like this had happened she couldn't help but become furious. She scrutinized her face at the wolf, thinking of ways to throw a sharp retort. "Jolon, who does he think he is??" She hissed in his ear, eyes still locked viciously and killing at the foreign wolf.

Jolon stared at Rigatoni. He didn't like how this wierd male was looking at Vivichi with disgusted eyes. This wolf was struggling not to look at Vivichi. A growl rumbled in his throat. This would would have to learn how to behave in Yozoran pack. He looked at Vivi and noticed tears starting to well up as she sat down, glaring at Rigatoni. Then she whispered to him who this wolf thought he was. His amber eyes locked onto the males and a loud growl this time, came out. "Rigatoni is a wolf who need to learn respect and how to behave," he said lowly.

Rigatoni shot his eyes to Jolon, overhearing his retort. A snarl came out once more, and it was back to the way it was when he had met Jolon. "Escuze me, but I beelieve yooh awre meestaken." A rumble escaped. He was no rude wolf, and he wasn't trying to be. It wasn't until he looked up when he realized the resemblence between Jolon and Vivichi. They both wore the same black fur coat, and the same glittering amber eyes. Well, in Vivichi's case... It was as if they were related. He figured they were brother and sister, which was why they were so defensive for eachother. Their cloaks blended together and he had to squint to tell them a apart. The main difference was Vivi's golden pattern, which was oddly pretty, across her face and ears, missing eye, and the long scar across her side. Jolon seemed to be in perfect condition, or maybe it was Vivi's poor one that took away from that. He was distracted for a few seconds. Then he remembered he was supposed to be angry. Obviously he had offended Vivichi, and by doing so had offended Jolon. They seemed to be oddly sensitive. Perhaps that was the way Yozoran wolves were. Rigatoni cleared his throat, trying to ease his thick accent by talking slowly. "E-in case you hadeent noteeced, I know how to behave. I would feegure you would bee dee one weeth dee bad temper. Learn to hold your toungue and maybee you won't loose an eyee." He spat, not regretting a word. --- A gasp escaped Vivi. This wolf had crossed the line. She stepped forward, coming nose to nose with the... wolf. He was no longer a packmate to her, but an enemy. Even the rudest of wolves who would comment on her eye had never said anything like that, and she wanted to tear his eye out. Her voice was no longer a low growl, but a booming hollar. "For your information, I didn't loose this eye because I didn't hold my toungue! You know what you sound like?! A hippocrite! I don't want you here, you, you! At least I don't talk with a rediculous and extremely annoying accent!" This wolf had no idea what had happened in her past, and he was judging her for it. One tear escaped, rolling down with pure fury, and a fire burned. It was the first time in her life when there was no happy in her soul, but a hundred percent anger and sadness. There was no more she could do or say, except get physical, so she stomped out of the room, aware of Rigatoni snorting behind her. She took a halt a few yards from the caves, just close enough to listen. Her back was to them, and she could feel eyes burning it. This was no tantrum, no, but purely out of offense. She allowed herself to relax, and it didn't take long for the cheerful twinge to poke its way back to her mind.

Rigatoni snarled at him while he answered Jolon. The last thing the male did made him furious. How dare this wolf say anything like that to Vivichi. Nothing was wrong with her and she hadn't done anything to hurt this stupid male, so why was he attacking them with words? Jolon was growling so loud that the dens echoed with it now. Rigatoni was making him very mad. All he wanted to do was bite this cocky male. Vivichi gasped and stepped foreward to come nose to nose to the male. Then she yelled at him with a response anyone could be proud of. Her scent told him she was furious now. She then stomped off and out of the caves. Jolon watched her go then turned to Rigatoni. He showed his teeth to the male and put his tail high in the air. How dare this wolf hurt his friend more so than she had been! "Rigatoni, maybe you should watch your tongue next time. For your information not all wolves are perfect and if you keep this behavior up, then you might not be your pretty perfect self anymore. Vivichi can be a good friend and will accept anyone if only they befriend her and don't stare at her faults as she doesn't to others," he barked. He had been warming up to the male, but now...he wasn't so sure if he liked Rigatoni. "I think it would be best if you apologize," he said, now getting a little calmer.

What is it with all my wolves fighting between two halves? Half of Rigatoni wanted to apologize after seeing her response, and half didn't. He chose not to, but wanted to seem reasonable. "She ees berry nice, boot she's overreeawcting." Then he sat down, turned his back, and thought to himself. ( Sorry, short post)
