Light and Shadow, two things completely opposed to one another and yet, without one there cannot be another. Locked in a struggle that spans eons and that is destined to continue for many more to come. In Brath, these two things separate the world we know from a world we never imagined could exist right under our noses. Where monsters that roam our darkest nightmares and fantasies, roam our streets and live among us in our everyday life. Humans once knew of the existence of vampires and werewolves, participated in their struggle for dominance, fought against their reign. Now is different, now time has buried what once was, history spun into myth and that into legend. Things that were once public knowledge, pushed into the farthest reaches of the shadows and concealed for centuries. This world exists my friends, the war still hot and fought in secret for a millennia.
While for the immortal races time moves at an unnoticeable pace. Time, it seems still touches them, they have adapted, their war taken to a whole new level as they venture fourth into the light and walk among us, vampires and werewolves alike. We see them every day and never notice them, they are our friends, neighbors, and co-workers. The idea seems so far out of reality for us that we reject the idea, but trust me when I say... they are there and they are watching.
