Yuriko looked up and stumbled over a tree root. She Looks At Annalise and chuckles at herself. She steadied herself. She looks in thought. “I don’t know I have not really thought about it. I am not a fighter. In fact I hate fighting. I would love to help Heal other wolves but I was told that I should be a fighter because I am physically able too.” She looks at Annalise for her reaction to what she had told her.

Annelise nodded warmly to Yuriko, remembering her friend Freya's intial reluctance to fight. "I know what you mean -- I've never much liked fighting, and I've had friends in the past who didn't either. I think, though...as you train more and you see the conflicts your pack faces...especially Blood Mist or things that result from the unjust...it doesn't become so much about fighting in violence so much as it is fighting for survival and...honor of your pack. Killing isn't encouraged, obviously...but there are more neophytes uneasy of their first fight than excited...or at least once they get there that's how it is. Maybe it isn't for you, maybe it is -- time will tell," she woofed softly. "Have you been training for long?"

Yuriko listened to Annalise and nods. “I Will attempt to go through with becoming a warrior.” She said dipping her head. She begun to watch her footing. "Not for long but I learn fast. " She shook out her fur and shivered. If I'm cold then she must be freezing. She looks at Annalise with a bit of worry. "stress can make you lose your winter coat too." She says moving closer to her to discretely keep her warm and keep herself a bit warmer as well. "My mother lost her winter coat while pregnant with my litter." She shares. "She was stressed and lost a lot of fur she got sick and did not survive." She subconsciously moved closer to her new friend. "I don't want you to get sick." She says.

Annelise listened intently to the young wolf, nodding where appropraite. A crease of sympathy touched her forehead when Yuriko spoke of her mother. Involuntarily, Annelise shivered a little bit in the wintry cold. That must have been horrible, to be carrying pups and have to deal with the cold...oh, and that would only make someone worry even more! She tasted the irony on her tongue as she realized the strong possibility that Annelise could be highly similar to Yuriko's mother. "Well, at least spring is coming," she murmured. "This winter was hard, but there haven't been any major blizzards or storms, which is nice....of course, I would say a certain goddess probably had something to do with that." She smiled as she thought of Siveria, her mother, still protecting her pack even though she was long deceased. This winter had been quite affectionate compared to Annelise's very first winter, when Verlust still reigned with relentless ferocity. "And hey, I'm a healer remember? Sickness cowers at my shadow!" She winked playfully.

Annelise felt a soft nudge on her shoulder. Grinning wickedly, she paused to nudged Yuriko's shoulder with her forehead. With a high and happy wagging tail, Annelise chuckled to herself. The camp was appearing up ahead. Somehow, maybe in the light of a newfound friendship, the situations at hand at had didn't seem so bad. Blood Mist didn't seem to have a particular target on the Siverians, and if the packs kept merging together to fight them off, how could they ever really expect to win? Blood Mist was a large pack itself, but that only remained advantage agaisnt a single pack, or perhaps two of the smaller packs. Anywhere Blood Mist is, we'll be able to take them out, she thought confidently. And she was in love, she could possibly be a mother. That was a beautiful, extravagant thing. I should be celebrating! At least for now...I don't have to think about what to do until it really starts to bleed through... "Yes, well, then I suppose I'll have to bring out my secret weapons and attack it with smelly leaves and herb mixtures," she giggled. "Speaking of herbs, would you mind helping me sort them? I don't know where Magic is at the moment...I think he might be considering retirement, actually," she admitted. She didn't typically talk so freely, but her former mentor was most certainly becoming visibly weathered. He'd been a fantastic healer, a close friend, and a very dedicated mentor to Annelise. He deserves to kick it back and relax.

(So i totally mixed up histories and I didn't realize it till Just now... I guess it would work too.)
She feels the nudge to her shoulder and her tail starts to wag happily.Yuriko Nodded "I would love to help you." She said not really wanting to be alone. Her New friend had given her a sense of safety and being grounded from her lofty times. She liked being around Annalise. She would most likely become Yuriko's best friend and favorite person, that is besides the person who came and fed her when her mother had left yuriko to go and die alone. She didn't remember the person who had fed her

( What do you mean?? Sorry it took so long for my reply.) "All right...basically all we have to do is sort and count the different herbs. If you need help telling the differences between them just ask -- some are a bit tricky." She ducked into the den where she and Magic kept their herb stores and nodded to the clefts where leaves were piled in neat little bundles. Wrinkling her nose at the sudden bout of scents, she smiled wryly at Yuriko. "Though, they all seem to have a specific smell -- that'll help you out a bit." The healer began to seperate the bundles of herbs she had carried in her maw into different piles on the den's floor, leaving room for Yuriko to sort next to her. Annelise wondered, perhaps if she were closer to Magic's age, if Yuriko would've made a good healer neophyte. But having barely began her days as a full healer herself, Annelise pushed the thought from her mind. If she's supposed to be a healer someday, I'll know when the time comes which wolf to take as a neophyte. But that won't be for years and years and years...besides, we've all got to survive first.

(Yuriko was born to a loner and left in the terra. Ashmil was born to a sick mother... but i guess that her mother might have had the same problem.)
Yuriko nodded and set her pile down twitching her nose at the smells that overpowered in this room. “So these go here right?” She asked as she began to sort the herbs into piles. Her body stretched out next to Annalise.

Annelise peered over at Yuriko as she started to work, and nodded in approval at her friend's progress. "Yep! You're doing it exactly right," she woofed encouragingly. It was strange to be in a teacher like position. I'm too young for this, Annelise chuckled inwardly. Well, it'll be useful to know some herbs if she becomes a warrior -- she'll be able to take that knowledge with her to wherever it is warriors go when they're called upon. Or something deep like that. Annelise was quiet as she worked, but the thoughts gnawing at the back of her mind cumulated and she bit hr lip out of nervous habit. Would it hurt, really, to confide in someone? Sure, Weed knew, but that was a complete accident. And Kar...her own brother had no idea that it wasn't mere coincidence that landed her and Shade together. I shouldn't have let myself get so desperate...but maybe it was inevitable, spilling my guts to some random wolf...but what do I really know about Yuriko? I just met her....can I trust her? Annelise continued working silently, brooding, wondering if she could confide in the wolf next to her.
Somewhere off in the distance, a Blood Mist warrior watched the Siverian camp from downwind to conceal their scent from the Siverian wolves. Slowly, the wolf crept closer to the encampment.

(I hate that the delete button is so accessible... oh well)
Yuriko looked over the leaves and turned her head to sneeze. She sneezed and the leaves the had carefully separated mixed again. "Aw darn." She put her head on her paw and thought over how to do this. She started again. "Is there something wrong ?" she asked when she glanced up at Annalise's confused look. She watched her as she slowly moved the leaves onto a pile.
