Featherswift looked at the pups near the fae and saw a bit of fear in their eyes. The mother acted instantly though and began to propose orders. When she heard what was needed of her she nodded. Then Lily Pad ordered her to go find something. A thought struck her though, was this the wolf that was the strange vegetarian? It didn't matter though. Missing was going to have to not be so picky if she was to survive. She nodded to Lily Pad and gently let Missing slide all the way off her fur before she turned around to carry out the order.
Her paws began to carry her out into the forest, looking frantically for any sign of meat or food. Eyes darting as quick as prey itself, she soon came across a rabbit trail and quickened her pace. Soon, the furry ball was in eyesight. Right when she thought she would pounce something stopped her. What does it matter now to help the pack? They don't trust me so why would they trust my kill? She shook her head to clear away the ugly thoughts and then zoomed in on her prey, a pounce away. With a flash she came upon it, snapped it's neck, and ran as fast as she could back to the den. A fallen log happened to be in the way as she ran, she tripped, the rabbit flying into a berry bush. Great, she thought in annoyance. Her right forepaw was hurting, but she got up and padded to retrieve the rabbit. It wasn't going to be so easy. the vines were spiky and entangled with the body. A pungent smell of raspberries hit her nose. Of all bushes, the stupid spiky kind!, she thought angerly. While Missing was hurting, she was trying to get the stupid rabbit out of the stupid bush. She growled at herself in frustration and began to claw at the bush and figure a way to get the rabbit without too many scratches.

(After you left (Featherswift), Nighty added in the cbox that almost everyone is unaware of Missing's vegetarianism for the moment Now I'm gonna mix things up a little bit ) Her heart quickened, and Winter shot a fleeting look towards her two cowering children. At the sight of Lilly Pad alleiving at least of bit of their tension, she summoned her resolve and moved briskly from the den. Her gut instinct was telling her to go back, to stay with them, protect them herself. She picked up her pace to a run, and then she was sprinting along the stairways of cliffs that paved the way towards the forests below the Sheeran complex. Like a metronome, her heartrate kept pace for her. She was sweating; fever cascaded all over her skin in a sudden rush; something was wrong, something was terribly utterly wrong, yet Winnie couldn't put her paw on it. As the scenery flashed past the she-wolf in a blur, she chuckled hysterically to herself, "What's wrong with you Winnie? Nothing's gonna eat you!" She slowed, the trickle of the Sparkling Stream drawing her to a pause. The self-talk was just as comforting as it was normal; the situation had turned from fast-paced and frightening to slightly bizarre. Winter took deep breaths as she approached the rippling, dark line of water that snaked through Sheeran terra. You're being so silly, Winter, really, just calm down!Something rustled in the bracken. Her head whipped around, yet all behind her seemed utterly still. A spidery feeling crept over her spine. Farther away now, a twig snapped. Winter went down, her snowy white pelt serving as a natural camoflage against the drifts of snow. Her ears strained for sound, and for a long few moments, she held her breath. Paraonoia swept in as the harsh, twisted memories of what Julian had tried to do to her swept through her mind. Please...not him...anyone but him... Fiery anger flamed in her mind. Or, let it be him. Let me kill him! Time lapsed by, and the sounds faded. When she dared to draw breath, she tasted the air eagerly. She half-choked on the air she swallowed. Three scents flavored the air, one of them fresher than the other. Winter trodded forward, closer towards the stream to investigate. The remains of a wasted, maggot-ridden fish lay next to the water's edge. Winnie didn't noticed the pair of eyes behind her, calculating the back of her neck. Everett and Ashlyn watched reluctantly as their mother left them. Everett turned away first, to nod solemnly to Lilly that he had finished his medicine. Ashlyn's eyes remained locked on where her mother's hindlegs had vanished from view. It seemed as if she were only playing one of those comical games of hide and seek that she and Everett had yet to outgrow. If I peek around the corner, Mom'll be there, won't she? The two pups waited for her miserably.

A swaying glance beheld a curious sight: Winter fled the den, and had headed (at a questionably fast pace) into the woods. Dallas paused, ears tilted in the direction of the entrance, and silently wondered why she had left in such a hurry. Maybe she needs help? But a soft reply hushed his thoughts, and he refocused his attention on his mission. “Tourniquet?” Thank Lupus, she’s in camp. “Sorry to wake you, but it’s kind of urgent—Missing is back. She’s with Lily Pad, but she’s very weak. I think you should come and see her…”

"Ouch!," she growled as thorns pricked all along her fur. She was a band of 'ouch' and 'ow's. Finally, the berry stained fur of the rabbit lay in front of her. Featherswift grabbed it with her teeth and crawled out of the bush with the same growls abounding. Her fur was now berry stained as well, but she was glad that she had the meal for Missing safely in her jaws.
Looking around, she noticed that the fall had changed her course to closer to the river. Maybe she could try for fish? Nah, she wasn't very good at fishing so she turned around and kept due her course towards the pack clearing. This time she made sure to watch where she put her paws over the bulky kill. Her ears twitched when she heard voices as she approached the clearing. Finally, she made her way to Lily Pad and Missing.
Dropping the kill down in front of the passed out wolf, she looked at Lily Pad. "Here's a rabbit. I'm sorry it's stained with berries though. My fur was part of the mess as well," she said. Looking at her fur in disdain she shook herself and began to lick the berry stains. They were sweet, but she never really cared for berries if there was meat instead. Hopefully she wouldn't be scolded for anything she hadn't noticed she'd done wrong.

Tourniquet got up. "What?! Missing's back!" She barked. "Where is she?"
Lilly watched over her niece and nephew and then waited for Featherswift to come back. It took a while but Feather brought back a rabbit. She nodded. "Now we have to wait for Winter with water and Coop with more food," She said.

“She’s resting in the den. We’ve already sent out a few wolves to retrieve supplies; she really needs to get her strength back.” He glanced over his shoulder, nodding in the direction of Lily Pad’s nook. Scuffling a few stray clumps of fern under his paws, he frowned a little. “We don’t know what happened to her, but she doesn’t look so hot.” How could this have happened? What did they do to her? Better yet, why do I keep talking to myself—dear Lupus, I need a girlfriend… anyway, what now? I suppose I could go help Winter after this; I’m really of no use here… The brute navigated out of the den, leading his companion to the healer’s den. And where in Hellfire is my brother?

(( Sorry I took so fleepin long guys, it's been a very very busy six or seven weeks for me =/ ))
Just get the water, Winter. Get the water and get back to your pups. Get the damn water and get out of here. It's fine just be quick and go and nothing's going to happen... It's too late for that, she realized with a growing dread. It was far, far too late. The scents were there -- the Yozoran's, the rogue's, and finally, painfully, Featherswift's aroma. And at the heart of it was the wasted fish. Flies buzzed hypnotically around the fouled prey. The water will have to wait...I have to get back to Yago, I have to tell her what's happened--- "Hello, there, witty one. It would appear you've stumbled across some evidence I'd rather you'd not have. I suppose I forgot to dispose of it correctly..." A black, lithe demon slithered from the undergrowth. Like a spider, the shade crouched in waiting, chuckling softly to herself. Terror and fury mounted on Winter's shoulders. The warrior inside of her began to kick in. "Whatever you're doing here is finished," she growled fiercely. "So," the demon continued, as if Winter had never spoken at all, "I guess this means I'll have to dispose of you as well!" With a ferocious, caterwauling howl, the she-wolves leaped at each other with claws extended to kill.
In the den, Everett and Ashlyn fidgeted. Each moment Winter was gone was an increasing panic inside of the pups. Everett watched as the others arrived back with their tasks complete. He looked to each of them pleadingly, but none met his gaze. They were too focused on Missing right now. None of them were noticing how long Winter had been gone. Ashlyn padded slowly to the edge of the den and peered forlornly out into the woods. Momma, come back, she pleaded silently.

Tourniquet got up quickly and almost tripped when Coop told her that Missing's back. She rushed to the Healer's den and ran toward the body. "She's sleeping?" She asked herself, looking down at Missing, hoping that she isn't dead. Missing wasn't.

Featherswift looked at the anxious pups. They were whining fiercely. Where was there mother? Taking a look at poor Missing, she began to pad towards them. "Pups, what is wrong? Where is your mother little ones?," she asked them as she neared.
Her eyes looked at the pups as she stopped right by them. Her head was cocked, waiting for their answer. Her muzzle was stained with berries still, not to mention her painted pelt. She'd tried to clean it all off, but she really needed to wade in a creek or river to get all the sticky juice off. Or better yet, get Missing to lick it all off. That would be funny to see!
Featherswift stayed with the pups though, awaiting their answer.

WHAM. Pressure exploded from the back of Winter's spine and grew exponentially as the dark, raven-eyed she-wolf pinned her down ruthlessly. Instintually, Winter flailed her limbs in an attempt to break her attacker's hold. The she-wolf's pincer-grip on her throat persevered. Even as Winter's hindlegs ripped at the female's soft underbelly and blood began to drip in a steady stream from the gashes, the she-wolf was never once fazed. Her eyes narrowed by an infinitely small degree each time Winter hit her mark. Patiently, the killer waited for her prey to bow to death. Looking into the cold, unearthly eyes of her attacker, Winter felt her blood boil with hatred, and then slowly go cold with realization. She kicked fiercer for a moment, but the paws pressed harder on her precious, compressed airway. Winter abandoned her struggle completely and turned her ferocity to the fight of staying alive. The world around her began to blur and shift from her focus -- all but the piercing, intent, and watching gaze of the dark she-wolf. Winter drew air in slowly through her nostrils. A wave of dizziness clouded her resolve. Then, again, she smelled it. She's a demon! A Hellfirian! A Blood Mist! Her mind could not begin to piece together the information she now possessed; somehow, in the back her mind, she new it all added up to something even worse than what she was confronting now, but there was no time to consider the truth. Winnie sucked in as much as she could gather, and then, with a devil's glare at the she wolf, she thrusted her powerful hindlegs in the female's chest with all of the strength that remained in her bones. In an exclamation of fury, Arachna was dislodged. The killer and her prey tumbled over the river's banks and into the rushing flow.
Everett looked up as Featherswift approached them. He felt a small sliver of hope as she showed awareness to the situation. She knows what's going on...maybe she can help us go and look for Mom! He stared up at her for a moment, then shrugged and shook his head sadly. He looked around for Ashlyn, momentarily panicking when he saw she was no longer at his side. He heaved a heavy, tired sigh of relief as he saw her at the edge of the den. Tentatively, she began to step out of the den. With each step, she gained a little bit more confidence. A moment, later, she plodded determindly towards the woods where Winter had disappeared. Everett's eyes grew huge as his sister began to disappear down the slope, out of sight. Not her too! He thought desperately. He stood hastily, slipping as his tiny paws scrambled across the stones of the den. He sprinted after Ashlyn, a fresh wave of panic sending him rocketing after her down the slope.

September headed into camp her head low. She looks frail and underfed. Her fur looks groomed and because of this you can count her ribs. Her eyes are weary and tired, as she stalks to the camp. She is hyper alert and nervous and jumpy. I wonder where everyone is. She then spotted the two pups scampering away. She only seen it because the sound had startled her. Where was their mother? Well, wherever she was the pups would have been safer in the camp . She started towards them looking determined She forgot that she held the food coop was gathering for Missing. "Pups," She barked to get their attention not knowing their names, the food fell to the ground She hurried to get it back together. "don't go out there you can get really hurt." She barked louder from where she stood among scattered fruits and vegetation. She picked the food up and ran to lead them back into the camp.

Featherswift looked at the pup's distress and turned to where it was looking. Fear coursed through her. She could just make out the last of a little puppy tail leaving. Then another pup up and left after her as she just stood there. "Stay here while I get your sister!," she barked to the rest of the pups. Instantly, she ran for them and began to catch up. The forest was probably the worst place for pups at the moment.
Soon she heard September calling after something and realized it was the pups. September then came into her vision and she barked to her to understand she was helping. Where were these pups going and where was their mother?

She passes Featherswift and nods mumbling "I need to get this to Missing. you take care of them." With that she hurried in to the healers den where Missing's scent was coming from. She padded close to missing and laid out the food. " This is for when she wakes up Lilly Pad." She looks around. "there is not much for me to do here, I better just go" She leans down and nuzzles Missing lightly. "Glad to have you back." She then turned and left slipping silently out of camp.

Ashlyn was unaware of the wolves chasing after her; she dashed onwards with brows furrowed in determination. The camp disappeared behind her, and suddenly, she was surrounded with alien undergrowth and pricking branches. She winced as thorns snagged at her fur and stung at her paws. "Mommy! Mommy where are you?" Her determination melted into fear and despair. She whirled around, the brush scratching at her face, and came face to face with Everett. "What do you think you're doing, Ash? We're gonna get lost out here!" The pup's chest heaved for air. For a moment, he stood with his head angled to the ground, winded from his run. Ashlyn pursed her lips. "You didn't have to run after me if you didn't want to," she declared matter-of-factly. "I can find Mommy all by myself!"
