Kunai smirked to himself. It was just Raye thinking that he was actually laughing at her. "I don't mean to be technical to you but I was not laugh at you, I was snickering. There is nothing wrong with snickering anyways, at least in my opinion," the brute finished his statement. It was true though, he didn't think too much of himself, doesn't really get into love that much. The last time he fell in love was when he was only a small neophyte going through problems with his mother trying to kill him because she found out that he was still alive. Sad but true. Never actually thought that he was dashing or handsome. The only time that he was complimented abotu his looks was by the past Alphess, Destiny, when she was questing his mother, Jen, about why she is raciest of all wolves with ebony fur color.

Raye woofed something about not knowing about what happens next and then apologized about cleaning herself before she got here. "It's fine, you don't need to worry. You don't stink or anything like that. Not to me at least," He replied. "Or look messy. Your fur sticking up is just by falling or something happening that scares you, no worries."

Raye watched Kunai smirk and raised an eyebrow at him.

"Oh, I'm sorry Mister Technical." Raye teased with a grin and her tail waved from side to side. Her eyes danced with merriment and she stepped a little closer to him.

"It's fine, you don't need to worry. You don't stink or anything like that. Not to me at least," He stated and she nodded once, pricking her ears to hear him better. "Or look messy. Your fur sticking up is just by falling or something happening that scares you, no worries." Raye smiled a little before the smile seemed to fade a bit. What should she say now?
"Thank you. Same to you Kunai...I think?" Her expression became slightly confused before she shrugged it off with one brown shoulder. She tilted her head to the side and poked her tongue out at him, she wanted to play.
"I know we're a bit old for this, but do you want to play tag with me? I haven't run in a while." She asked with eagerness in every muscle of her body. She was like a taut spring, ready to bounce around and roll.

Kunai frozed at the last thing Raye said, playing tag. Yes, she was right though, they were too old for this but one thing that really made him nervous is that he never played tag before in his life. His past was complicated but playing tag wasn't in there and he didn't know how to play. "Ummm," His voice got really low, not in tone but as in like being able to hear him. "I don't know how to play tag," Kunai said really quickly so hopefully Raye didn't hear him and just to get it out of the way. It was embarrassing.

[Raye]

Raye pricked her ears as she watched Kunai's body language change. What was wrong?
"Ummm," His voice went quiet and she struggled to hear him so Raye moved closer. "I don't know how to play tag," He looked embarrassed and the words came out in a jumbled mess. It took Raye a good few moments to decipher what he'd actually said. Her eyes widened and then she smiled a little.

"I'll teach you. Come on, stand up. I'll be 'it'." She said and got close to him, about a step away now. Her eyes looked him over before she nodded. The brown wolf padded close enough to touch her maw to his black furred ear.
"I've touched a part of your body, now you are it...the aim of the game is to chase after the wolf that is not it. If you catch and touch them then the other wolf is it and you have to run." She murmured in his ear before side stepping around so she could run away easily. "Understand?" She asked gently before waiting for his response.

Kunai nodded a bit and stood up on his four legs and looked at the beautiful fae as she explained this game called Tag. His fur twitched really quickly, the moment his ear was touched. "I understand now a bit, so tag you and then you tag me?" He asked. He sighed and stretched.

[Raye]

Raye noticed that he had shivered when she had touched his ear with her maw. It had also sent a tremor through her body. She stretched thoroughly and then turned her attention back to him.
"I understand now a bit, so I tag you and then you tag me?" He asked before sighing and stretching. Raye nodded eagerly and gave him a soft smile.
"Indeed, you are understanding this game perfectly. Are there any games that you haven't played before? If there are, I'll play them with you." She said warmly before her ears twitched, her tail was wagging languidly.

It was betraying that she was happy to have someone to play with.
"Ready? Go!" She grinned at him before turning in a half circle and waited for him to start chasing her. She then bolted for it, loving the feeling of the winter wind in her fur.

OH CRAP! He thought quickly and started to chase her. Kunai thought that she would be it. "I think this was how my step dad became blind, he ran into a tree. Then died of old age," He yelled as he was chasing her. Then to think about it, he was Starstruck, heh. I make myself laugh. Mother was named Star, I miss her, The brute thought to himself with a smirk. Then he ran a bit closer to Raye.

[Raye]

Raye checked where Kunai was occasionally and heard his shout as she turned to avoid a boulder.
"I think this was how my step dad became blind, he ran into a tree. Then died of old age," He said and she mulled over his words for too long. He touched her and she tried to turn too quickly. Time seemed to freeze as she stumbled and began to fall. Raye's survival instincts kicked in and she somehow managed to roll and fall into a snowdrift, instead of on her head. She felt like she had been shot out of a canon into a bucket of ice water.

She opened her green-grey orbs slowly and saw white, everywhere. She must be inside the snowdrift, she had no idea whether the snow drift was wide or not. Her paws pushed snow aside and she thought that the white mass would never end. Then she came nose to nose with the black wolf she had been chasing only moments before. Raye's eyes widened and she blushed before pressing her forehead fleetingly to his and smirking.
"You're it." But then why did she make no move to run away. Raye stayed there, looking into Kunai's eyes.

Kunai didn't had a clue where Raye was at after he tagged her so he stopped to smell the roses, well not really but to look around at the beauty. Then one of the beauties went straight at him. Touching noses, You're it Raye said but didn't even move. Even though it was hard to see him blush through his black fur, he was too blushing. Didn't even know what to do. "Hi there," He finally spoke.

[Raye]

Raye blinked, she could have sworn that he was blushing...but he had black fur so she didn't really know. There was a moment when neither of them spoke and she felt slightly light headed.
"Hi there," He said and she pricked her ears, shivering slightly at the sound of his voice, it was so close. Raye felt her blush become more apparent and she felt nervous, like all her secrets were being laid bare for scrutiny.

"Hi yourself, want to keep playing or stay like this?" She murmured before licking her nose, unintentionally licking Kunai too. She had a surprised expression on her face before she got an idea. She disconnected their snouts and passed her head under his, she then stepped forward until all of her body had passed under his head. She turned her head to look at him in a cheeky manner before she rushed back and licked him on his ear. Then she darted off again.

Kunai smiled before his answer. "Well hun, whatever makes you comfortable," He finished and was still blushing because she licked his nose, though he could tell that she meant to lick her own nose. The brute closes his eyes for a second and her head was under his and she was moving her whole body under him. After that, she licked him in the ear and ran off. That made my day. He thought and ran after.

[Raye]

"Well hun, whatever makes you comfortable," His words rang in her ears and she jumped over a fallen log before turning sharply. Raye crashed through snow drifts and emotional barriers alike. If she thought about it, it wasn't really that hard...being happy. She might even try being happy with Kunai. This thought caused her steps to falter and she slowed down a little.

"You're fun you know that? I think I might join your pack just to spend time with you." She shouted behind her and turned again, this time bringing her almost parallel with Kunai. Raye then smiled softly and bolted off again. A few more minutes of running and she slowed down, her breaths coming in short gasps of icy cold air. She stood perfectly still, except for her heaving chest and her eyes. Her legs grew shaky beneath her and she laid down.
"That was the best run I've ever had Kunai." She panted heavily and watched him before making a motion for him to join her on the ground.

Kunai finally caught up to her as he slowed down for every step was a step closer to Raye. Yes, it was fun actually, he hadn't really had much fun in a while because it would normally be what he should be doing right now, patrolling. Oh well. "You shouldn't join the pack just to spend time with me you know, there are others you could be friends with, we'd be happy that you joined," He spoke and plopped down next to Raye. "I think you made me loose those extra pounds I been trying to loose for a while now," Kunai chuckled.

Raye felt more than heard Kunai come, she didn't know how she knew if he was there or not though. He stopped beside her and she blinked as he spoke.
"You shouldn't join the pack just to spend time with me you know, there are others you could be friends with, we'd be happy that you joined," He then plopped down beside her and she moved closer to him in an effort to share warmth.
"I would join for other reasons but mostly to socialise with you and others, since you insist." She teased before nudging him underneath his jaw with her own maw.

"I think you made me loose those extra pounds I been trying to loose for a while now," He chuckled and she laughed as well, her heart leaping and pounding against her chest in excitement.
"Really? You don't look overweight at all. Very...fit." She murmured with a grin and a raised eyebrow before letting her tongue rasp along the edge of his jaw. was she being too blunt? Was he just playing around with her? Nah, he wasn't the type right?

He nodded, the alpha was pretty cool, calm, except when she doesn't have breakfast but that was only a rumor. "Yeah, everyone in this pack is really cool, they would like you a lot," He replied as she nudged him from underneath. "Umm... thanks," a reply came from the compliment of her saying that he was fit. Kunai nudged her on the side of her head, he guessed it was just a wolf thing when two wolves like each other.
