BEST CRACK COUPLE Because, really, what the hell? || WHY ? || A fair enough inquiry. First off, for any of those unaware, a “crack couple” (or “crack pairing”) is a term generally describing a nonsensical, no-canon pairing that, in any correct universe, would or should not happen. It is a typical occurrence in fan fictions, where the writer may select two characters from the given source material who do not end up together (or couldn’t end up together) and puts them into a relationship. The title “crack pairing” indicates that it’s only for good humor. Unfortunately for Rio, Raku, New Moon, and Lupus, Destiny and Wolfie are complete perverted psychopaths and enjoy crack pairings very much. While, in reality, Rio and Raku weren't exactly buddies and New Moon and Lupus only met once, that didn’t seem to bother us. One stormy night, on the eve of the first Wolves of the Mist Anniversary, we began an amazing chatbox conversation that went off the wall. We then spent the entire night recreating the conversation via pm(I know Destiny eventually stopped at 7:00 AM her time, and I soon followed) and continued it over the year to come. And so, Wolves of the Mist: the Play was born. And, in the midst, we unintentionally created the greatest gold mine of crack pairings and unrealistic situations in existence. Or something like that… either way, Riaku and New Lupus were amazing, and are well-deserving of the position. And, for those who dare to read the entire thing (mind you, it is unfinished), here is a link to the Play, for when you have completed the Records: . Bow chicka wow wow.

Most Wolves Killed in a Single Thread There’s no denying that violence is fun to write. It sounds horrible, but true—otherwise, why would we continuously describe agonizing death scenes, battles, defeats, and victories? Because once you’ve had your taste of blood, you itch for more. And we’re here to celebrate some of the more bloodthirsty occasions of the site. That is, the largest amount of wolves killed in a single thread. Appropriately, that title belongs to Infinity on High, the final battle of the second plot, where the packs unite over the mountains to wage war against the Blood Mist forces. The battle begins in a free-for-all, but climaxes with an all-out challenge between Siveria, the Silver Mist (Siverian) Alphess, and Verlust, the Blood Mist Alphess and Goddess of Winter. Along with these two mythical giants, a dozen other wolves meet their demise, for a total of fourteen lives lost. Sickening, isn’t it? Below is an inventory of all the lives lost during the battle. Rest in peace. Most Epic RomanceMOSCA & HALOWe have had a vast collection of epic wolf couples, and this category was hard to make a decision for. However, what Wolfie and I really took into consideration was how much previous recognition the couples got. After delving into the story of Mosca and Halo for what was my first time really reading/discovering it, I fell in love with them, too. And I can tell you, that after all of the crap they went through, they really deserve this title. Mosca's Biography // Halo's BiographyMosca's past was one of heartache and sorrow; after her family was shattered and she fought with her brother, Bain, who preferred the murderous ways of their father, Mosca vowed to have revenge on him. Halo, also endured suffering at a young age as his parents took the black heart-shaped marking on his chest to mean he was a wolf of evil. He was outcast, but his sister, Merci, was there to defend him. He and Merci had a short stay in the White Mist Pack (Sheerans), but eventually left for a rogue lifestyle. As they're making their leave, they run into a trio of wolves -- Mosca, Legion, and Fell. These three wolves kind of hang together as each is searching for revenge and aims to bring vengeance to the killers in the packlands. Fell mistakes Merci for their target, Bain, and ironically, these two ended up falling in love later. Halo is very wary of all of them. First Meeting [/link] As far as love goes, Mosca and Halo both suffered separate troubles. While Mosca fell deeply for a wolf known as Thite, Halo explored and experimented but couldn't find the right lady at all. Thite rejected Mosca in a heart-wrenching thread that very nearly one the title of Saddest Moment ever on this site. Though they loved each other, Thite was also in love with a wolf known as Sunblaze, and it was Sunblaze that he chose to be with in the end. Mosca and Thite said their goodbyes, though she is forced to help him when he is hurt despite her own agonies. Halo aids her in healing/protecting him, and a bond begins to blossom between them.Love Is Not EnoughHalo's eHarmony AccountThe Seeds of HealingFor nearly all of their lives, they were weighted down with these sorrows. Merci and fell both passed, and truly, Mosca and Halo seemed like the only ones left of their original friends and associates. In their final thread as living wolves, they were faced with overcoming emotions. This one could've been up for saddest as well; in the same thread they finally find their happiness, their lives are taken from them by human hunters.Make Me or Break MeThis couple suffered through a lot, as you can see, and they haven't nearly been given enough credit for it, even though they are as old as many of the other couples who have received a ton of credit. Really, Hosca is extremely well-written through and through; Azari and Wolfie did a magnificent job with their respective chars, and of course, made us sniffle quite a few times in the past. Heres to Hosca I CAN SEE YOUR HALO[/center]
