She ran through different realms though always strived to be on the good ones as she leaped from star to star at times disappearing for a while, leaving many wondering if she would ever return. Maybe this was only her since she belonged to two packs that made up her heart completely- though the love of her life walked among only the stars of Twilight unable to accompany her on her journeys beyond to the tribes. Even now that this female is dead- she resides with a unmatchable beauty that stands out drastically where ever she stands. A feathered fluency in her step & actions…it was easy to see why she was a gifted angel of the good. Although today there seemed a serious sparkle of trouble in those amazing blue eyes as she padded through the white fog into the tranquil atmosphere. Eyes searched for a figure…though she found herself standing alone as much of her arrivals into Twilight. A sigh suppressed her lungs as she took a patient seat on her own blinking trouble thoughts away. After a few minutes her elegant body jolted from her spot as she trotted over small dunes of dirt and grass alert looking for a particular male…she reached the den in which she shared with him…though found it cold and abandoned. Once more Silenthowl found herself with disappointment as she sat down in front of the den looking around like a lost pup. A tiny little whine of sadness escaped her, as after it a low distinctive bark sounded echoing through the empty space….would she ever find anyone?

Eyes of gray-blue winter swept over the realm of lupine heaven, lost in contemplation and musings. It was a strange world, this Twilight Realm, or heaven; strange and different in every way from the earth below. It was a place of finality, where one could be content with their fill of life and memories and sit and ponder the greater meaning of things without having to worry over mundane duties such as hunting. Here, wolves took on a more intellectual being than physical; needs and wants were different, and thus, so was a whole wolf's being. Whatever she wanted, the goddess could have it if she simply wished it. It was not for herself that her present thoughts grew worried; it was for those who rested beneath the blankets of sky and layers of heaven, a whole level down from her place in the universe. From her celestial perch, the sterling silver and winter blue Siveria watched with a deepening frown on her lips. This...this is not how things were supposed to happen... She saw her daughter, Annelise, huddled in her hideout near the mountain foothills with her newborn children huddled at her side. She's seen her taken twice, for the sake of vengeance against Siveria herself, and watched helpless as her daughter had a limb ripped from her body. The second time, Annelise had been severely starved. Her execution had been planned, but perhaps something of a divine intervention had ocurred; it had not been time for her daughter to join her here. Annelise and her children had been spared for the time being. And Kar, her dearest son, was safely tucked in her dearest pack, though desperately worried for his sister. This was enough trouble, but it was the only the beginning of it all. Everywhere she looked, there was trouble afoot in her precious valley. Her children's trauma was only a milimeter of greater, more terrible torture to come. Something....something must be done... Her ears flicked as a strange echo sounded nearby. Slowly, the majestic femme came to a stand and turned to face her old friend with a sad, solemn smile. Her tail gave a small wag, despite the sadness in her heart. "Hello, Silenthowl. It has been far, far too long, my dearest friend."

Was everything she once knew gone? She flickered her ears around and padded a few panicked steps forward looking around…anybody….somebody. Her breathing went coarse as this seemed like the firs time the gentle calm female seemed to be losing her cool. It was then when she spotted Siveria come into view. Silenthowl couldn’t say how released she was at almost at once her panicked swept away and her tail lightly wagged behind her as she walked towards the beautiful she-wolf she would honorably call her leader even in death. Walking up to the dominate female Silenthowl lightly dipped her head with respect- a quality the tribal female always had. “I would like to apologize for my absence…but my Tribal realm has ran into deep sorrows…” she spoke with a agony that slowly took over her beautiful eyes. Where would she start…how? How would she begin this horrible tale that once more involved these Packs that everyday fought for their lives? It seems that Silenthowl was always a future teller as she looked down at her own paws. “…Great mischief is about to break out Siveria…I don’t know how, or when…but it’s going to be worse than anything our packs has lived before”, she whispered to the Alpha in hushed tones.

For a moment, Siveria smiled wryly at the other female, as if the reunion of old friends could wash away the torment of her thoughts. And then, slowly, Siveria sighed with heaviness and shook her head sadly. "I know, Silenthowl. It already has, but I fear there is much, much more to come -- and not just from one end, but from all sides. The land we once called home, the societies we once were a part of, all of it is caving in on itself. The packs will fall to their knees, and this time...not everyone will be saved. Not everyone will make it out alive. We can't save them with prophecy -- not when they themselves do not believe as they used to believe." And then, to calm herself, the silver-blue femme let her eyes slide shut and her breaths come deep and steady. Meditation was a calming practice that she made frequent use of, and patience was a thing that had come about with her countless years spent as a Twilight resident. When she finally opened her stormy gray-blue eyes to rest on her oldest friend once more, Siveria had found at least a shard of clarity in the fog. "Tell me of this trouble you've seen," she murmured softly.

Silenthowl cocked her head lightly as she sighed and took a seat close to Siveria. She listened to what the Alpha had to say and so she shook her head with dismay. Why was it so hard to live in peace? Then again this was unreasonable to think this way…ever since the stone-age there had been fights for small things over survival…it was life and Silenthowl had trouble admitting it. “Strange things…things that haven’t been heard of since the days when we walked the earth my love.” Silenthowl explained in her understanding. Ears flickered as she uncomfortably shifted. “In my Tribe there was said that one would be born for good…but from that good a dark evil would be re-created”, she confessed a old prophecy spoken by a healer when she was a young pup. “Everyone thought it was a bunch of non-sense...it was based on a curse that the gods placed on my ancestors for neglecting water to a pack of starving wolves. Ever since then pups have been closely watched. After a while it wore off and was forgotten…but that evil has reincarnated my dear friend”, Silenthowl explained. Ears flickered back as she turned her head purposly. …because of me.. She thought wth a sickening disma whispered.

Silenthowl's words foretold further evils to curse her former packmates and brethren. One might expect some sort of shock at such news, but not a trace of surprise passed through her solemn expression. She breathed deeply again, to maintain her calm, and then turned and looked at Silenthowl with a great, eternal sadness in her eyes. "Then, it is as I expected; the evil will come from yet another angle...and another reincarnated evil as well." Is there nothing we can do for them, now? Is doom inevitable no matter what way they turn? No...no, that can't be possible. There's always something to be done. Perhaps not to save every single life that deserves saving, or to save them all from the perils they already face, but to preserve the hope for a better future....to make a future possible. "So, this evil had already purged the forest, then?" Something was clicking into place in her mind's eye. Perhaps not a solution, but the pathway to a possible one. We have to handle this much different than we have in the past, or it will always come back...always reincarnate and haunt us all.

“They have always been there…hiding”, stated Silenthowl with a recognizing flicker to her fluffy tail. A deep sigh of disappointment made her shoulders lightly dip with exhaustion. “What saddens me out of all if it…is that I cant find a way to fix it- to help them…” she whispered under her breath. Her ears twitched with annoyance at her own incapacity to making things right. Eyes looked at the wise female when a question was directed to her own being. “Yes.” She woofed. “Not only one…but a few of the many that will come” finished the beautiful snow draped tribal wolf with a unsure tilt of her head.

Slowly, Siveria dipped her head in comprehension; Silenthowl's danger was already in the packlands. There was little they could do to help them now, and little way to warn them; the herb healers were either missing or dormant in their posts. There would be no one to hear their warnings should they be able to give one, anyway. And besides, there were limits on what information you could send between this realm and the old one; for instance, the wolves of Twilight might hear prayers and see all that happens in the land below, but only a prophecy or a powerful dream could reach the packwolves from the other side. I fear there is little way to reach them, and even then, how do you make the message powerful enough to convey what we need them to know? No, we must go about this in a new way... "Silenthowl," the she-wolf said softly, "I have thought long and hard on the demons that now plague our descendents. I do not have a solution, but I do know one thing; our previous battles with Blood Mist have not done the job. What I mean to say is all of it -- the fall of Death, the death of Verlust, the journey across the mountains -- has only been a temporary fix. If we are to survive as a culture, as a brand of wolf, our sons and daughter must do what we failed to do, approach in a way that we did not think of back then, or attempt what we attempted in a manner that is fundementally different." And that was where the great gush of thought crashed against a cliffside and sloshed back into an ocean of restless ponderings. "The thing is, I'm not exactly sure about what it is they should be doing. Not fighting them sounds insane, but it never really got us anywhere, either. Being allies isn't an option, either; I tried that when they first came to our old home beside the Mirror Lake, and it only caused more hostility."

“Fighting is completely insane…” Silenthowl whispered under her breath. She didn’t understand it at all! How where full boned wolves going to put up the reincarnated? A sigh came from under her breath. Was there anything or way they could think of something? Getting up she shook her minty fur and sat back down looking down at Siveria’s paws. “There is one i have been keeping a close eye on…she is yet unaware of the power she holds…she is unaware of her purpose or of her existence as a evil” Silenthowl explained. “ I watched her journey of her life…ever since young leaf life, she has been taught nothing but ruthlessness. Though she among normal wolves, she shows a weakness”, she added with a slight hope rising in those deep azul eyes.

Siveria listened intently to her friend as she spoke, tail twtiching with her contemplation. For a moment, she did not answer, but only tilted her head in slight confusion. "Is this the same evil you spoke of before? Do you believe there is a chance of...turning the path of this wolf?" Her eyes lit suddenly with a new sprout of wonder. "That's what we need to do...turn our path to a new one. But how, and what path do we take? War is insane, no war is insane...and, really, what chance would they have, anyway? The Blood Mist wolves will always reincarnate and come back for revenge. And our children have turned their backs on their links to us in the heavens. Death and Flame are back on earth, but are wasting their time on self-indulgence. They won't hear us...." A strange shadow suddenly darkened the queen's frost-blue gaze. Her expression was grave as she barked softly, "Silenthowl, our own children won't listen to us but...what if we could reach someone in Blood Mist? What if we could turn them?"

I believe it…though either way there is no way of ever stopping it Silenthowl thought sadly in her mind as she nodded softly to the words her friend had questioned her with. “Blood Mist?” just the name of the pack made her fur stand on end. Was it not the pack they had a bitter battle with? She blinked softly as she tilted her head to Siveria…now that she mentioned it…it was a pretty good idea. “Hmm…well…that would be pretty nice…but I don’t think I know any Blood Mist, love.” Silenthowl confessed trying to recount her aquatinters while she was alive. They were not much, but she kept all the ones that where friends forever. Tail flickered as she thought a little more. “You do…don’t you?” she asked Siv with a tiny wag to her tail.

Siv raised a questioning brow as Silenthowl nodded, but said no more of these mysterious evils she spoke of. "If there is anything you'd like me to do to help with this, tell me; if there are any evils that can be prevented...well, I don't think our children need any more piled on their plates." With a sweep of her tail, the silver wolf rose to her paws with a sudden vitality in her step. She beckoned for Silenthowl to follow her as she strode briskly through the ether. She paused and turned, eyes suddenly glazed with pain. "A long time ago, I murdered a she-wolf named Babylonia and her unborn children. When Babylonia reincarnated, she set her wrath upon my daughter, Annelise, and let her hatred sink through her own blood so that her own children carried on her hatred. What I did that day I am not proud of, but I did it to save my pack from destruction. However, what I did set into motion a series of events that may lead to the destruction of another mother and her children. There is a sacrifice to be made....and I am who will have to make it. I fear I must face her, the one who hates me so. It may be the end of me." Siveria's eyes were glazed with blood-spattered sorrows and memories of her lifetime, when things were not so different as they are now. Why is it the war never sleeps?

Silenthowl thought about it twice…but knew better then to worry the beautiful Alpha with such burden. The snow embered female fallowed a few steps behind the powerful female, in respects to her authority even though they where long dead. Once Siveria turned around she was confused at what she saw…why sadness? What was wrong? Without listening, a small twinkle of concern filled the chilled blue eyes of the foreign female tilting her head lightly when words finally explained the resented emotion. Silenthowl, searched for the right words to comfort her friend…but she found herself once more speechless as she did the first time Siveria told her of a similar plan back on earth. Eyes searched the wise females and she once more found herself face to face with the drowning feeling of despair…although she let a small smile creep beautifully on her jaws to break the depressing vibe. “I love how you never plan to stick around me…where would I have to go to find you then?” Silenthowl humored lightly licking the cheek of her deceased friend fallowed by a brief affectionate nuzzle. “Never fear my darling…for you are the definition of what bravery is”, came the soft spoken words of once more that comforting wise female Silenthowl has always been. “Plus, what is there to fear about? Everything that could have happened, happened. Right?” Silenthowl reassured.

With a small chuckle, a small bit of warmth sparkled in Siveria's eyes. "Old habits die hard, friend. And the truth is, Silenthowl, I am very afraid because everything has happened that can happen; I have nothing to barter with, you see. I can go and ask for forgiveness from this Babylonia, but I am afraid it will be to no avail -- either what I have done to her cannot be forgiven, or the damage has simply grown too much for there to be anything to do but mourn the disasterous consequences. I have nothing to offer her that could possibly appeal her apetite for vengeance. But, you see, as with the evils you speak of, Silenthowl, I feel that I must try nonetheless. We sit here and ponder the hopelessness of our situation, and yet, both of our minds are still running with counteraction. It is when we stop trying at all that things are truly hopeless. " The great sadness in the heart of the former alphess had stilled with Silenthowl's gentle friendship. With a twinkle in her eyes, Siv smirked in mischeif. "We're going to do some dream-walking tonight, you and I. It may be futile, but at least we know we did everything we could in these realms. Go to your carrier of evils, and I will go to mine. We'll back each other if we need help."
