It was Annelise that carried the heavy burden back to the camp. Her eyes were streaming, wet with sorrow. In her teeth, she clenched onto a lump of patchy fur. The wolf she'd managed to drag back to camp was long dead, dusty and cold. But through the layer of grit that had settled on his corpse in his period of vanishing, his features were unmistakably familiar. Bile rose in the youg healers throat as she looked upon him once more, a small wail of despair escaping her. "S-Sabela...I was foraging....I found him out in the woodlands...." she sobbed, swaying on her delicate paws. The proxy of the Siverians was no more.

Sabela almost lost her footing, as, with little hesitation, she leaped of the rock. She had opened her mouth to announce Freya a full proeliator, but now she held her mouth opened, it stretching into a shocked, wordless gape. "I-- Riley..." she whispered, tears choking her words.
A sob choked from behind the healer; a wail of despair and loss. A ragged bearer collapsed next to her cold mate, wailing uncontrollably. Riley, her love, her life, the light of her fire, dead leaving her to a world of endless darkness and despair. The only of Riley left with her were her three pups, the only dull light that shined came from their three pups.
A squeal of delight sounded from the nursery. A cheerful silver female raced towards her mother and father, amber optics bright as she crashed into her mother. "Oh--sorry moth--- daddy?" her once cheerful eyes looked worried, but in a matter of seconds they brightened again. "Oh daddy! I like it when you play games with us!" she squealed in delight again as she leapt onto his back and tugged his ear in her teeth. "D-daddy?" her voice was a worried whisper.
Dashina's wails were too loud, and too filled with anguish and dispair that she seemed not to hear her pup. She dugged her muzzle into Riley's fur, digging for the sensation of warmth that usually was given off by the brute. "Riley..." she whimpered, tears already dampening his fur. "Please... don't do this to me... please... I need you!" she whimpered on. "The light of my fire, my love, is you..." was the last of the words audible to wolves around her. The same words she had said after the birth of her three pups. "Without the light of the fire, the darkness lives on." These words were for Riley to hear only, even as his soul and spirit joined Twilight.

The lovely femme's words fell like dead weight on her son, watching from the front of the crowd of mourners. Shaking his head wildly, Kippy crumbled to the ground, sobbing in his paws. Father...why? Why did you have to leave us? The images around him were blurred and fuzzy, but he could've sworn there was something warm around him, holding him, caressing him, whispering that it would be all right. But upon clearing his watery eyes, he found it wasn't his beloved father at all, but Annelise, trying desperately to calm him. He padded up cautiously to the lump of patched fur, swallowing hard as bile rose in his throat. Annelise followed him, a comforting tail resting on his back. He closed his eyes and buried his head in his father's pelt, losing himself for the last time in the soft fur of his sire.
Mystic sighed heavily, eyes broken and wrecked with sorrow. Riley had been around for a very long time ;; since before she'd even been born. Without Riley...there was something missing among the Siverians. Their playful, clever, joking nature would never be true without him. She felt the loss with a heavy heart.
Nightshade bowed her head as a few tears slipped out, spirit acheing in woe as the bitter realization set in upon the camp. Riley had been brave. He'd been heartbroken, torn apart completely, but he'd managed to come back, and always with a smile. Nothing could replace his energy, optimisim, and friendship.
After a few moments of utter silence, whispers began to pass between warriors. With the gathering being the following night, the pack would need a proxy before they met with the other packs.

Dashina's eyes ripped open as a nose nudged her side. She glanced and happiness and relief filled her heart. "Riley!" she exclaimed as she looked into the amber eyes of the lively 'Riley.' "Riley! Oh you've come ba--" an uncomfortable, sullen silence followed her halted words. Her pale eyes flooded with misery and tears as she stared eye to eye with Palenia, her third pup, in which seemed to just be a smaller Riley, nothing different but their gender. She wailed with dismay and hurt as she dug her nose into Riley's side.
Palenia backed up from her mother, feeling guilty as she put her mother into misery, though she was confused for mere seconds. She stared at her father's limp form for a long three moments, dreading what she saw. "FATHER!!!" she cried, her amber eyes filled with tears as she dug her nose into her father's limp form. "Father..." she sniffled.
Sabela's eyes were full of tears, her nose buried into Riley's fur, her whimpers soft and quiet. The mourning would begin after the new proxy was to be named. She reluctantly rose from her mourning hunch and padded sullenly to the rock once more. "The-- Proxy--- is to be named--- now" she choked with each word, her tears streaming down her face, though disapearing into her thick flame fur. It was hard to be heard over the murmuring and loud screeching of Riley's mate and pups. "Mystic--- you are to be, Siverian's new--- proxy," with that Dashina's screams halted abruptly, and she glared up at Sabela.
"You're going to--- replace Riley??" she sniffled, defiantly. "No one-- no one in this wide world--- could replace R--R--Riley!!!" she wailed still glaring up at her leader, damp faced and sniffling.
"We all know, that no one can replace Riley, this pack won't be the same without him, but we must let someone take on his responsibilites, as he is now with the Twilight Wolves." she murmured gently, but firm, her voice trembling slightly.

Mystic's mouth fell to the ground, shocked and amazed. But I'm so young...will I be able to really do this? Well...Mom did it, and now look at her! I'll never be as great as Riley, but at least I can try and honor him. Mystic dipped her head, genuine suprise in her grey pools. "I know I can never come close to what Riley was, but I will try my best to honor him." ( Woah....did not see that coming at all )

[XO yeah; hey we're running out of seniro warriors, and she just seemed to be perfect XD]
Sabela nodded and dismissed the meeting. The meeting of the packs was to begin in less than 24 hours. She leapt off her ledge and to her den to rest.
Dashina, Palenia, and Luna all cried as their dear father or mate lay motionless and cold. Palenia's form blended into Riley's as though she was not there, only when she opened her amber eyes did it seemed that she, and Riley, were there.
