Need to try some styles (Practice thread?)

Hello,
I've only been here as a member of WotM for a few weeks, as some of you may already know. Now, I've been wanting to try a few styles that my friend has told me to try out, but I'm afraid to do so in a real rp thread and fail at it.

So, could anyone help me, maybe give me critique of how I can improve on a style in a practice thread?

If you'd like, you can go ahead and do your thing, and then someone (me, or whoever else looks at it) could give you feedback? Or would you like someone to actually play through the roleplay with you as well as have feedback? Like, we could go back and forth in a thread but feedback could be given in response to your posts where you try out your new styles?

I think the back and forth with feedback is good, I need to practice how my characters act towards others anyway.

((First style- Description))

The fog hung above, like the devil's breath, as it hung in the air, threatening to suffocate anyone in it's path. She coughed, the scratchy sin rattling her lounges, and shaking her frail frame in the darkness. Her bones creaked and cracked, as she fell to the ground, drenched coat outlining her pitiful state. It was gone, it was all gone. The once green grass had vanished, leaving dust. The cherry blossoms had rattled and fell to their deaths, leaving silence where there was melody's. A simple breath shook the earth below her, as blue eyes looked over what was once her home, now, a barren wasteland in the devil's grip.
