The young trio rushed into the camp on tired paws. They had come far to return to their home, but their business was not yet finished. Things would have to be brought to Light's attention before the young'uns could find rest at last.
Saskia had first set out to find her father out in the mountains. She'd been infuriated with the lack of leadership and optimism in the camp, and had left in an attempt to find a better place to spend her days. She'd climbed the treacherous peaks of the mountains, caught the scent of her father under her nostrils, and still had not laid her eyes upon him. Sadness welled in her heavy heart, and she was starting to believe she'd imagined the aroma.
Crow padded faithfully by her side, black form pressing close to her gray and red one. He loved her deeply, as she loved him, and he had followed her into the Mountains of Endless Winter. He'd helped his aunt, Olive, convince her to return to the pack, and now they would face whatever judgement Light passed. Together.
Olive sighed, eyes threatening to blink shut on her. She'd travelled such a long way...she was extremely elated to be home again at last. Though many thought she wasn't ready, she needed to be neophyted as soon as possible. She was ready to train just like any other wolf, and she would not be thought of as weak or fragile for the tragedies she'd been a part of. "Light?" she called, hesitant.

"Yes?" Called a weak, but somewhat firm voice. Light had scented the three from far away. He had been waiting. Tisana had told him of Olive's leaving, but not the reason. One could almost know that Olive was planning to bring the pair back.

"It's Olive...Crow and Saskia are here...can we speak with you?" She woofed quietly. She glanced back at Crow and Saskia, anxious and nervous. The other two were just as worried, if not more so. Saskia, Light, and Harley had had quite the verbal spar. Saskia looked rather pale at the moment, perhaps because of her conflicting emotions. Crow stood, sturdy and steady as ever, by her side. Olive smiled a bit, proud of herself and her friends despite all of the wrongdoings.

Light flicked his tail. "Enter." He draped across his nest, too tired to clean it up after his week of fitful rest. He took a deep breath and awaited the many harsh looks his would get.

Olive led the way, not too worried about getting in trouble. In reality, she hadn't done anything wrong....she'd just been there for her friends. I do hope Light isn't too harsh on them... She leaned back against the wall of the den, watching the rain drip down in front of the entrance. She licked a black paw contemplatively, deep in thought.
Saskia took a deep breath and paced after Olive into the den. She glanced breifly at Light, but that was it. She resigned to staring blankly at the space above his head. She sat down next to Olive, red and gray tail curling tightly over her paws. Oh dear Lupus...where do I even begin?
Crow followed them, then took his place next to his lover. He was growing to look much like his father, but characteristics of Clove, Sharpie, and Holly showed through, too. He glimpsed Olive and Saskia out of the corner of his eye, then decided if he didn't speak first, they would sit there silently. Inhaling bravely, he woofed simply, "Well...er...we're back...."

Light stood, sitting infront of the three neophytes. He noticed that Saskia was staring at the wall behind him. "I see."
Of course, allowing them to studder in the fashion that they were for a few moments was punishment enough. "Would anyone like to tell me why three of my neophytes decided to run off on a little adventure?"

Olive was prepared to speak on this one, but Saskia stood up, finally looking Light in the eye. Olive sat back again, watching Saskia with mild curiousity. Hopefully there won't be any yelling involved in this one...
"Well...I don't feel welcome here. It used to be a warm place...everyone was family and we shared loss, we shared happiness. Apparently some wolves think their pain superceeds the next wolf's sorrow. This is not so, nor will it ever be so if we are a pack...if we are one. We all hurt, but as a pack we have to move forward. What I saw before I left was not a pack...but the corpses of one," she woofed, voice flat and unfeeling. Her gaze was a little more revealing, though. Her bright eyes glistened with hurt and confusion.
Crow nodded slightly. "I agree with her, sir, and...there was no point in me staying if she wasn't there. I love her, sir." He woofed, forcing his tone to be steady. He looked directly at Light, conviction in his words.
Olive sighed heavily. "And though I agree, too, with all of the previous statements...I refuse to have my home taken away from me ever again. I've been gone far too long, and I'm ready to help build our spirit back up again....together. As a pack, and as one."

Light's gaze turned cold. "Well maybe if wolves didn't run off at the first sign of a hardship then this pack would still be alive!"
He regretted his words instantly. "I'm sorry. But do you know exactly how HARD it is to run a pack when three future warriors are off missing and half of your warriors are dead? It's HARD! I'm still not completely over Night's death, either."

Saskia's eyes turned to ice. "And you think it's easy standing there while the wolf who is supposed to be your leader refuses to lead you?! And I'm the one running away now? Wasn't it me who told you to suck it up while you ran away and hid in your den?!" She snarled, eyes blazing. "I shouldn't of come back, Olive."
Crow frowned, "Stop it, both of you! You're BOTH acting like PUPS!" he growled, nudging Saskia. "Light, you're missing our point. The point is we all have it hard be we suck it up and do it anyway because that's what makes us brave, and that's what makes us wolf! Saskia, you're being a hypocrite! You BOTH have it hard now get over your whining and think of someone else but yourselves!" He snapped.
Olive licked a forepaw thoughtfully. "I think Crow basically said what I think..."

Light gritted his teeth. "I never wanted to fight with you, Saskia. Now, you may think it unfair, but you must be punished. My duty as leader."
He glanced at Olive. "Thank you for bringing them back. You were only doing your duty as a friend. Crow, Saskia, you will be cleaning the dens for a week."

Saskia's eyes slitted but she remained silent.
Crow sighed, unsatisfied. "That doesn't change anything. You still don't get it, and I still don't see the point in being here."
Olive tilted her head in question at Light. "Alright...but Light, what will you do? As much as I agree with you, I think you were just as much of a problem as they were," she woofed bluntly. "Are we all going to be stubborn and carry on like this, or are we a pack?" At that precise moment, Olive couldn't look more like her mother.... I miss you, Mom...

Light sighed. "What am I supposed to do? Punish myself? I apologize, but Olive, that's just SILLY! I am sorry for what I said, now if we are going to continue to be childish about it, I have nothing left to say. You told me to lead, and I am leading. As a leader, I punish you for running off."

Olive snorted with exasperation. "Light, that's not what I meant and you know it! I mean are you going to accept that you're not the only one who hurts and has it hard, like I hope Crow and Saskia will, or does anything we've said here not matter?" She sighed.

"I KNOW THAT!" Light screamed. It wasn't an angry scream. It was a desperate scream. A sorrowful howl. Anything but angry.
(Do ya mind kinda to ugh... just sorta... ya know... *sigh* Light's taking this bad)

(Well I'm not going to sugar-coat it for him. They aren't being mean, or at least they aren't trying to, they just feel the pack is miserable and nobody's happy anymore. )
Olive grumbled. "If you did you wouldn't be all hysterical right now..." she shook her head. Her heart felt heavy. What happened to the Yozoran pack? Where did the zest for life go?
Saskia pushed her way out of the den, tears sparking in her eyes. "Fine then, I'll go clean up somebody's crap while everyone else whines about how I don't understand pain!" She paused, then added, "I didn't find my father." She left for the senior's den.
Crow frowned miserably. They did deserve punishment ;; he was fine with that. He just didn't feel heard anymore. "Light...." he paused, not sure how to put his feelings and thoughts into words. "I'm tired of fighting. Everyone's tired. But you're our leader...and because of that, we expect you to be strong for us. That doesn't mean we expect you to be invincible and unfeeling. It just means that you have to lead." He followed Saskia, tail dropping.
Olive remained, silent. She closed her eyes for a long time, the added, "When can I start my training?"
