"We're sitting on the ground, and we whisper, 'Say what you're thinking out loud,'" Truffle.Twig.Shiro.Neveria.Kasparr.Autumn.Trianna. The family of apprentices were lingering outside of the den that night. Well, at least a good portion of them were. And the others were most likely soon to follow. There were seven wolves out of the den, all lounding against logs, rocks, and bushes. All silent, and all looking excruciatingly pained. There were two brothers, Truffle and Twig, sitting quietly on a brown stone and staring off into space. Truffle was a light cream with a dark brown top coat. His amber eyes were dulled slightly. His brother was a bit leaner than usual. He was primarily dark brown, but his hairs were tipped with gray, which was more prominent on his face and back. He shifted his own golden gaze to the other wolves laying about. There were seven of the other related neophytes, part of a different family than Truffle and Twig. Only five of these seven were out. Shiro, already showing through his muscular build, had a white and gray underbelly, but was otherwise a soot color. His pelt was darker, probably black, along his spine. Next to him on a fallen, hollowed log was his sister, Neveria. She had a similar, but cream colored underbelly. Her pelt was longer and was primarily red with a limited amount of gray. The last on the log was Kasparr, light brown and black with very little gray at all. In some lights, his pelt even seemed a tad crimson. He was the only one moving, twitching ever so slightly now and then. Inside the log itself was Autumn, looking dilapidated and desperate. She had a prominently red coat, but places on her muzzle and unerbelly were white, and her back was colored black. She was thinner and more petite than her siblings. And last but not least was Trianna, pacing between all of the assembled wolves. She had a creamy, refined face as well as a similarly colored underbelly. Thre rest of her, however, was velvet darkness.
Truffle and Twig were stilled and scarcely moving at all. However, their eyes were utterly restless and did not linger on anything for more than a second. Twig was searching for something, anything really, to keep him amused. Dusk was fast approaching, and his paws itched to get out of the camp. Or, if they were to stay in for the night, he hoped to at least find something worth staying up for.
Truffle had similar hopes. He and his brother were slightly older than the others, but not by much, really. He privately wondered where Lyra and Rafael were, numbers six and seven that completed the children of Saskia and Crow. Those two seriously are lover birds....if they have any more pups, they'll be able to start their own pack!
Shiro stepped off the log, causing the wolves to look his way, expecting, pleading, dreaming that he would say something or do something more than what they were all stuck doing. He only shrugged and offered a half smile of consolation as he retrieved a moose leg from the prey pile and returned to his station.
Neveria glanced around, looking around the camp for any other wolves besides themselves. It seemed that all of the other residents were occuppied and busy with something. What a bunch of slackers we look like here! Though she knew that wasn't true at all. They'd all put in their share of work during the day and then some. That doesn't change what it looks like.
Autumn turned inside of the log, sighing heavily. She still wanted to talk to Kandoria. Sure, being a warrior was really fascinating and all, but she wasn't sure if it was the life she wanted for herself. But then again there were things that she would miss, like battles and stuff. She was good with helping out the herb healer sometimes with the sorting and retrieving....but maybe she really was supposed to be a warrior.
Tria still paced, glaring at them all. Finally, she came to a sudden stop. This movement, again, caused them all to look her way. She seemed smug, almost arrogant about the next words she spoke, "What are we doing laying around here? We should be doing something!" "Like what, smart one?" Shiro snapped, rolling his eyes in exasperation. "Like....um...." Tria hesitated, smugness gone and replaced by an icy facade. "Well...er...I don't know! There are seven of us, we should be able to come up with something!" "How about a party?" Kasparr grinned and giggled. Neveria nodded and smiled. "That sounds good...what will we be doing at this party?" "We could go for a run when it gets darker," Twig offered. "Or we could think up a prank or two..." Truffle put in. "Maybe we could just chill out and howl at midnight or something....or maybe we should go for a run like Twig said and then come back here and howl," Autumn spoke, getting excited. She crawled out of the log and jumped onto it with her siblings.

They sparkled over head like a million crystal clear wolf's eyes, each with their own glory, their own perfection, their own radiance. Each and every one just as beautiful as the next, or more so, but none that did not catch the eye. It was clear as a pane of freshly made glass in the sky tonight. The land around her was just as beautiful. The sweet scent of freshly killed play was tormenting her nostrils as the two rabbits hung from her jaws which were flooded with saliva.
The fae paused, placing the rabbits on the ground, and glanced around. She could eat one right now, no one would ever know. Maw lowered to take a bite, but she could not. With a sigh the fae picked up her kills once again and padded towards the Yozoran Camp. When she was inside she would eat; these would go to the fresh kill pile and one of the Bearer's could have them for their own.
As she slipped into the camp not much was noticed. Older wolves were probably busy with things; there was always something to do in a pack. The kill was dropped upon the pile and she moved to take a piece for herself. Suddenly she paused, noticing all the neophytes gathered outside the den. Giving her chest fur a quick lick, and swiping the fresh blood from her maw, the fae padded towards them.
"Hey guys, what's up?" Head was turned to gaze at each wolf, and she felt a strange longing to pause when her eyes of a stormy gray shade landed upon Truffle and Twig. Giving her head a little shake to clear it, Lyra tilted it to the side. "Your all just lazing about doing nothing? Because that's what it looks like!" Her voice was hyper and exasperated at the same time. A perfect blend.

"We're sitting on the ground, and we whisper, 'Say what you're thinking out loud,'" Truffle.Twig.Shiro.Neveria.Kasparr.Autumn.Trianna. Truffle and Twig nodded at the ideas presented. "We could go on the run and easily be back before midnight wiht plenty of time to spare, and then we could bother some of the warriors and howl like Autumn said!" Twig woofed, getting excited now.
Truffle looked happy at the 'bother some of the warriors' part. They would have to be careful, though. They didn't want to botch things with their mentors or look too irresponsible. It would have to be something very simple that wouldn't make too huge of an impact...
Trianna merely shrugged, attempted to be cool and nanchalant. "Yeah, those are pretty good ideas," she barked. Despite her efforts, her eyes twinkled with delight at their prospects. The run will definitly be fun -- it's been a while since I've just run around for fun. I'm not usually away from training for too long....or hanging around with this many wolves for that matter, either.
Shiro narrowed his eyes with mischeif. "I could think of a few pranks...." he offered, looking absolutely devious. Truffle shook his head at his offer. "You'd get the whole pack made at us!" Truffle snorted. Shiro shook his head, but looked somewhat disappointed.
Neveria looked up to see Lyra coming over. She smiled at her sister and woofed, "Hi Lyra!" Softly. Her tail wagged a bit in greeting. The more the merrier! Now I wish Rafael was over here. Him and Kasparr would have a field day with putting Tria in her place and trying to get Shiro to loosen up! Of course Lyra could probably help with that, too...
Kasparr jumped from his log and tackled Lyra, looking postiviely exuberant. "LYRA! We're having a party because we've worked our butts off all day and now we have ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO!" He informed her hysterically. Well hey, it's true! Up until a minute ago one could taste the ickyness of boredom!
Autumn laughed at his exaggerated tones and padded over to Kasparr and Lyra. She pushed her head against his side, trying to roll him off, but porr little Autumn couldn't really move Kasparr very far. "Or, we could forget everything we just planned and just have a ginourmous playfight."

The fae wagged her tail a little and grinned foolishly at Neveria and the others that had settled around. She did not think so many neophytes had ever just been together like this. Well, other then when they were sleeping, that is. But, that didn't really count, since they weren't awake to have any fun!
Lyra found herself being unexpectedly tackled, which caused her to loose her balance. The fae stumbled, falling down onto her side, tail wagging ever more. "Hi there Kasparr ol' buddy ol' pal!" She giggled a bit, a merry look upon her features. "A party?! We get to have a party!?" Lyra tried to squirm away from Kasparr, even more hyper then she normally was. The prospect of a party, of some real fun, well that was just to good. "Count me in! 100% in! Completely dedicated! All for it! Let's go!" If she had managed to get away from her brother the fae would dance around in circles, tongue lolling from her jaws.

"We're sitting on the ground, and we whisper, 'Say what you're thinking out loud,'" Truffle.Twig.Shiro.Neveria.Kasparr.Autumn.Trianna. Truffle and Twig shot a sideways glance at each other and nodded slyly. "Are you thinking what I'm thinking?" Truffle smiled. "I think we can agree that there's nothing left to be thunk!" Twig rolled his eyes. The two leaped at Shiro without any warning, tugging at his ears playfully and nipping his sides. "Cheer up, grumpy grumpster!" They snickered.
Shiro's eyes widened as he was attacked, and he fell from his perch. "I'M BEING MAULED BY BRAINLESS IDIOTS!" He howled with shock. It took him a while to react, but then he narrowed his eyes playfully. Prickly as he was, he always enjoyed pranking and good fun, like this. He nipped the brothers back, and so started a fine play fight.
Neveria grinned a little at the others. She liked play fighting and doing all those things just as much as anyone else, she just hadn't really done that or gone wild and had fun anywhere else besides the nursery. It was so open and--- Enough, Nev. It's time you've started working away your shyness! With a small, playful little growl, she attacked her sister Autumn. At least our sizes are closer!
Kasparr snorted at Lyra's little declaration and rolled off of her, still grinning widely. As soon as she stood up, he would leap once more and the battle would begin! She probably already knew that was coming, but Kasparr had never really been good at sneaking up on anyone anyway.
Autumn had been ready for an attack, but she hadn't guessed Neveria would be the one to execute it. She fell to the ground with a little "Uff!" while Neveria tugged and nipped. It didn't take her long to recover, and soon she was on her paws again and locked with her sister in a dance of nips and pokes.
Trianna rolled her eyes at them all, but couldn't deny the longing to join them. She decided she'd have to find Rafael, though. She looked around wildly for her brother, eyes narrowed. What could be keeping him away from the festivities?

This time the fae was not taken by surprise at the leap from Kasparr. An excited, playful growling came from her muzzle as she turned her head towards him. A mischievous glint in her eyes, the fae suddenly began to run around. She was jumping, and running, and howling foolishly. Hopefully, dragging Kasparr along with her if he was not on her back. "Having fun bro?" Tassel, like a banner behind her, playfully flicked Truffle in the left ear.

"We're sitting on the ground, and we whisper, 'Say what you're thinking out loud,'" Truffle.Twig.Shiro.Neveria.Kasparr.Autumn.Trianna. They continued, each of them, with their seperate tussels. The young wolves were absolutely gleeful for these small pleasures, simple and childish as it was to do what they were doing. There was no shame in using their innoccence...while it still existed. As they laughed, nipped, barked, and howled, things were stirring around them. Little did they know, wars were crashing down upon the forest, mouths wide with pointed teeth.
Kasparr snickered and rolled away from Lyra as she attempted to drag him. He spotted Trianna and let out a bellowing battle cry when he charged her. She yipped with suprise and was knocked off her paws, only to let out her own, rare, playful snarl and attack in return. The two rolled around in the dirt, not caring or taking notice as it dirtied their pelts. Kasparr laughed again loudly at Lyra's inquiry, "You bet, sista!" he snickered.
Truffle drew back from the assault on Shiro and glanced at Lyra. He bit back a pick up line and decided it would do to simply smile and talk. He untangled his limbs and claws from Shiro and Twig and jumped down besides Lyra. "Hey, what's up?"

Lyra rolled her eyes, giggling gleefully as her Kasparr and Autumn began to 'fight'. Turning her eyes, a stormy blue-gray in shade, back towards Truffle she rolled back on her haunches, plopping her but on the ground. Tail waved behind her as she smiled to Truffle. Just reply in a calm, normal tone, with a normal answer. Nodding to her thought, she cleared her throat. "Ah, you know, just the usual- Will you go out with me?" The last bit was rushed through. Idiot! Hurry! Say something else! "Gah, I mean, ah, uh.. Have you seen The Bee Movie? That's a really good movie. Although nothing really makes sense, I mean, bee's can't even fly! Well, they shouldn't be able to, what with those fat little bodies and tiny wings and what not!" She took a deep breath, hoping he'd forgotten her earlier sentence that she hadn't mean to say. A shy smile on her face now.

"We're sitting on the ground, and we whisper, 'Say what you're thinking out loud,'" Truffle.Twig.Shiro.Neveria.Kasparr.Autumn.Trianna. ooc:\\Kasparr was playing with Trianna
Truffle could only stare as the jumble of words came from Lyra. He was certain she'd asked if he would 'go out with her', but he could've easily imagined it. After all, it wasn't much of a secret that he had a hue crush on her. He wouldn't blame his mind for making it up, but he also knew she'd most likely not waste time on someone like him. A half-pack wolf. And orphan. Why should she like me, anyway?
No wolves had really given Truffle much trouble, mainly because the death of Light and the attachments many wolves had then and still had now with the Sheerans had shaken them to the core. No one could really post blame on anyone, especially not the pups that had resulted of the alliance. He sighed softly to himself, thoughts lingering on Terralisa, the sister he barely knew. From the little he did know of her, she was a lot like Trianna, only a little less stubborn. Probably nicer, too. He still had Twig, but Terra was all alone in the Sheerans. I hope she has friends there....I hope she's okay.
He shook himself from his depressing, sad thoughts and offered a crooked smile to Lyra. "The Bee Movie? Er....what is that exactly?" He laughed anxiously, feeling that he'd missed out on an inside joke while at training or out of the den.

[*re-reads*...Oopsiee X3]
Lyra momentarily turned her gaze to her many siblings. There was Shiro and Kasparr, Trianna and Autumn, Neveria and Rafael. She had so many, and all Truffle had was Twig. At least, that's all she knew about.
The fae shuffled her paws, looking back towards Truffle. She'd been crushing on him for a while now, more so then his brother Twig. But it was a secret. Not that it mattered, why would Truffle like her? She was so... plain... "It's this movie, about bees, and this one bee doesn't want to do his job or something, and he falls in love with a human. It's really weird."

"We're sitting on the ground, and we whisper, 'Say what you're thinking out loud,'" Truffle.Twig.Shiro.Neveria.Kasparr.Autumn.Trianna. Truffle still found himself staring at her oddly. "Uh...humans? But they don't even know what this place is --- or that we're here. And what's a movie anyway? So if the bee and the human had kids, they'd be hees or bumans?" He cracked up at that, imagining a cross between the twolegged creatures and the small, yellow-and-black insects. He snickered again, shaking his head.
He couldn't help the slew of questions coming out --- it was so weird to hear something about humans! He'd only heard about them in the occasional horror stories the neophytes shared, or if somebody had poked and prodded the seniors enough to give up some information. He really wasn't sure what they looked like, exactly. Sure, he had the descriptions from senior warriors and the seniors themselves, but as most wolves, Truffle had never really seen a human. From the tales of their desctruction, he was glad he hadn't spotted one!

For a few moments, Lyra stared back at him. She wasn't really sure of the answers to his questions, because she'd completely forgotten what she'd been talking about. How had that happened, you might ask? Well, she'd gazed into his eyes, for a second, and lost her train of thought. As he spoke of hees and bumans she found herself doubling over in laughter, foolish giggles coming from her like rain in a storm.
Eventually, regaining her composure, she turned her gaze back to him. "Anyway, whatever..." She shakes her head a little to clear it, then, suddenly, launches herself at him. "Fight time!"

"We're sitting on the ground, and we whisper, 'Say what you're thinking out loud,'" Truffle.Twig.Shiro.Neveria.Kasparr.Autumn.Trianna. Truffle, too, was now controlled by his laughter. He also forgot what they'd been speaking about, what had been so funny in the first place. He was totally unprepared when Lyra announced battleface, but he did manage to roll away in the nick of time. Still snickering foolishly, he stumbled to his paws and gave himself a good shake to end the hysterics. Grinning, he let out a small, playful growl and charged at Lyra, turning his growl into a full-blown howl and he approached.
Neveria and Autumn, sitting down for a breather, looked around at the others. "How about that run, guys? It's getting dark, and now's a good time to go. If we wait too much later we probably won't be allowed to go out tonight," Autumn pointed out. Neveria nodded, stretching her paws in anticipation. She was particularly good at sprinting, but enjoyed even slower runs. The feel of the wind in her pelt was an indescribably pleasure.
Shiro, Twig, Kasparr, and Trianna broke apart from their sperate brawls breathing fast. After sharing wistful glanced, they nodded their consent. They could finish their tussling later, before bed. One thing was for sure: they would all be tired for training tomorrow! Hopefully their mentors would go easy on them.

Lyra skidded along the ground as her 'attack' missed. Wow he's fast.. Or maybe that's my imagination. He's handsome too. And... Her thoughts trailed off, and she rose, a little late, crouching to dart around Truffle as he charged back towards her. But she was suddenly distracted, and forgot all about the play fight. "Run? We're going for a run? I love to run!" Her tail began to wag a lot. If Truffle kept coming at her, he'd probably end up knocking her over.

"We're sitting on the ground, and we whisper, 'Say what you're thinking out loud,'" Truffle.Twig.Shiro.Neveria.Kasparr.Autumn.Trianna. Truffle pulled up, stirring up a little dust as he came to a stop. He looked back at the others, nodding vigorously. "Yes, that sounds like a brilliant idea! Let's go!" He grinned. Without another word, he took off into the woods, not even bothering to go through the main entrance of the camp. He let out a howl of glee as he ran, feeling magnificent and free as he darted through the dusk.
Kasparr's booming howl joined his friend's, and he sped full-pelt after Truffle. He was nothing more than a blur in the dim light, soon catching up and overtaking Truffle. The massive, muscular young male slowed a bit as he did so, but not by much. He seemed absolutely bubbly and hyper.
Neveria smiled slyly and wove through the brambled and tall trees. She, too, matched Truffle's speed, and started a one-to-one race with her brother, Kasparr. The two were soon out of sight, Truffle not bothering to keep up with them. They would meet up again soon, anyways.
Shiro grunted, but his eyes glinted with a fierce joy that not even the cactus-like neophyte could hide. He tore off into the woodlands, fast of the paws of his siblings and Truffle. Twig ran next to him, and then Autumn and Trianna, not wanting to be left behind. Truffle slowed a bit, searching the large group of neophytes for Lyra.
