"What are you talking about? Clove is not d-" she couldn't bring herself to say the word. Think it, even. She took a jagged breath. "How do you know she is?"

"Clove had her bad days, Holly, but we both know our daughter wouldn't just let her son run loose...especially when we know for a fact she lost her daughter..." his voice was pained, and tears emitted from his eyes, a rarity. And the warrior cried on his lover's shoulder...unable to go on.

For once, Holly had to be the strong one. Tears were streaming down her face. Her heart had taken too much, but Sharpie's had taken more. She couldn't say anything, she just buried her nose into Sharpie's neck. She would have done anything to comfort him, but that was impossible.

Sharpie stood there for a long time, leaning on Holly. It was a strange sight, this sudden role reversal, but it has to happen sometime. He compason himself, but tears still issues from his eyes steadily. He glanced down at Crow, who was yawning widely. "Holly..." he didn't finish.

Crow suddenly brightened. "Is Holly here? Momma siad that we'd be safe with Holly and Sharpie..."

"Shh..." Holly told Crow. "You'll be fine with us. Go into that den over there and meet the other pups, dear."

Her motherly voice broke her heart. She acted as if Crow was her son... She turned back to Sharpie. "What were you saying?"

"He'll stay with us, then?" He asked, his voice weak and eyes weary. Sharpie suddenly seemed ages older...and, indeed, he was. He was planning on retiring in the next year. He turned to Holly, whispering in her ear, "I love you...."

Crow stood up, sniffing the entrance to the nursery cautiously. Olive poked her head out, bumping noses with Crow. "Oof! Say....you smell kinda familiar...what's with all these weird pups hanging around?" Olive laughed, eyes lingering on Crow. "So what's your name? I'm Olive!"

"Er...I'm Crow. And I'm not strange!" He grumbled.

"I was kidding, grumpy gills! Come play with us!"

Holly smiled, but the expression strayed from her eyes. "I love you, too..." she whispered.

Okashii slammed into Crow. "POINT ONE GOES TO TEAM OKASHII!"

Kinomi pushed her sister off of Crow. "Rude." she muttered. "I'm Kinomi. Apparently the most sane of my siblings."

"Hey! I'm pretty darn sane!" Olive protested.
"Me too! In fact, it's just Okashii that's crazy!" Pepper joked.
Crow smiled a bit, but there was something missing here. There was someone missing here....
"Uh...what is this place exactly?" Crow asked, wondering if it was Black Mist. Momma had told him of the packs...

Kinomi ignored her siblings. "Welcome to Yozoran Pack."

Okashii growled at Pepper until Kinomi's tail flicked over her nose. She bit it.

Crow frowned deeply. "Then...Holly and Sharpie aren't those two wolves over there?" He nodded towards Holly and Sharpie.

Pepper tilted his head in confusion. "Uh...yeah, that's Holly and that's Sharpie. Why?"

Kinomi's face twisted in concern. "Of course that's Holly and Sharpie. We're their pups. And they had two more pups, Torn and Clove. We've never met Clove, but Torn is around here somewhere."

Okashii's chest puffed out. "Our daddy's the proxy!"

"B-But Clove's my mother!" Crow exclaimed, understanding dawning on him. "So those two are my grandparents....and you're all my aunts and uncles!"

Pepper spat out some pine needles he'd been playing with. "Woah....dude, I'm too young for that!"

Olive blinked, a mixture of happiness and sadness confusing her. "So wait...where's Clove?"

Kinomi sent Olive a sad glance that said, 'Don't speak of that, please."

Okashii ignored Kinomi. "So, our parents are old enough to be grandwolves?"

Pepper wrinkled his nose. "Well, Dad DOES have a few gray hairs, now that you mention it..."

Crow shook his head. "It's alright, Kinomi, Olive. I think I know what happened now...there's no way any of you could've known it."

Kinomi frowned.

Okashii was rolling on the ground, laughing. "SHARPIE IS OLLDD!! HE'S A MOLDED STUDMUFFIINN!!! AHAHAHA!!!"

Kinomi stiffled a giggle.
