Freya continued to stalk among the frozen shadows of the clearing. Judging by Asha's position, she was doing pretty well. She prowled untill she was behind Asha, then sprag up onto her mentor's back. Her claws were not extended, but she managed to hold on. She giggled slightly, letting out the smallest of growls.

"Now where could that Freya have gone? Is she behind me?" Asha turned around, "Nope. Hm.. Maybe she's on my back," and Asha swiped the little white feemora off her back. She giggled and said, "Very good, I can tell you'll be a great hunter," she woofed.

Freya glowed with happiness under Asha's praise. She couldn't wait to tell Annelise! The young, eager neophytes got along well, and to Freya, Annelise was more like a sister. Though it made her sad that they couldn't train together as neophytes, Freya never minded visiting the herb den to see how Annelise's training as a healer was coming.
"Thanks! Can I try it out for real now?" She inquired, hopefullness apparent.

"Well, your going to need help so let's both go for a hunt to try out these moves for real. Remember, rabbits are scarce but deer are easier to see okay?" woofed the black mentor. She was so proud of her neophyte, Freya was doing very well. Asha stepped quietly as she moved the the snow and into the dense undergrowth of tree and shrubs.

Freya nodding excitedly, thinking over the techniques she'd just learned. She scented the air, noting that the scent of rabbit was not among the tangle of aromas she'd been bmombarded with. Deer was there, though. She crouched down, remembering how Asha has taught her to remain silent and unseen. She followed her nose quietly through the snowy brush.

Asha followed her neophyte and spotted the deer aswell. She kept it in her view. Her amber gaze following the stag. His horn's were long and stiff...
