A black feemora glided into a small clearing . Her light paws hitting the delecate ground gently and her amber eyes wide with happyness. Her head was raised high as she pranced into the clearing. Her joy lighting the way behind her.

Freya was dashing about the clearing, chasing the flurries of snow, trying to catch them all before they landed on the ground. Her blue, light eyes were wide with excitement and amusement, a certain glow about her. She didn't notice her mentor was there, just continued dancing around in the winter wonderland.

"Freya," called Asha, "It's time you learned hunting positions," she shook herself from head to tail to free herself from the grasping snow. Her black fur was coated in the white flakes and when she shook she sent them flying everywhere.

Freya's eyes widened and she jumped back a little when she realized another wolf was with her. She let her fur lie flat when she saw it was only her mentor, Asha. She nodded eagerly, eyes still wide, but with enthusiasm. "So where are we going to start?" She woofed, voice soft.

"Right here will work, okay now how do you think you stalk a rabbit?"

(three sentences minimum, please ) Freya shuffled her paws anxiously, thinking hard. "Well...maybe it's something like this?" She crouched down low, slinking forward unevenly. Her tail stuck straight up, but she didn't notice it.

OOC: I know i made a mistake on accident and posted that.
IC: Asha's gentle laugh flittered out of her jaws and she woofed,"No little one, it is like this, watch and copy okay?" Asha dropped low to the ground, barely above the snow with her tail low and she swiftly and evenly moved without a sound. She then sat up and woofed, "Your turn Freya," and her tail wagged a little.

Freya felt hot with embarrestment for a moment, then smiled at the absurdity of her actions. She watched Asha intently, noting how she kept her tail low and moved with fluid grace. The youg, snowy femme crouched down once more, tail low and in line with her back. She stepped forward slowly and steadily, making as little noise as possible. Once she had gone a few feet, she looked back at Asha for her mentor's response.

Asha nodded happily and gestured for her to go a little farther. Her black fur glisted and she waited for Freya's little head to pop up again.

Freya turned back to her task and continued onward around the clearing, stalking as Asha had shown her. She decided, after briefly thinking it through, that when she got to the other side of the clearing, she would lunge at a small branch laying on the ground. She crept forward with patience, waiting untill she was inches away from her "prey". The white wolf leaped, landing unsteadily, but still clutching to the branch on the ground.

"Very good Freya, you need to work on you landing though," she giggled and nosed the white femme up. She looked down to Freya, "Now the way to hunt a deer is to use the surrounding terrain to hide because they will see you before the hear you or smell you," woofed the black wolf who vanished into the shadowy dark trees around them and appered behind Freya silently. Her paws only touching the cold ground oh so gingerly.

Freya turned, trying to follow her mentor's form through the dense undergrowth. She failed to keep track of Asha, however. She narrowed her eyes, nose working furiously to pinpoint the older wolf. Her ears angled this way and that, but still, no luck.

"I am here young one," woofed Asha looking at Freya from overhead. "If the deer looses track of you like you did of me then they stay cautious but not as cautious, you try it should be easy for you and the snow," her bark was gentle and kind. Her eyes were filled with hope and happiness for the neophyte.

Freya nodded, smiling up at Asha. She crouched low, and stalked as if she was on the trail of a rabbit. However, this time, she clung to the fringes of the clearing, weaving soundlessly through the trees and brush.

Asha stood in the clearing and looked for the neophyte and scented for her, she couldn't find her. The snow disgiused her scent and the white femmora's fur blended with the cold ground. Asha's black fur stood on end and flattened as she breathed.
