OOC- Guys, this is her death. No rescuing, or saving the day please. :] She needs to have this done. And I'm getting a little bored with having her as an outcast. So, in a matter of all things, this is the end of Legarathien.
---
Legarathien knew this would never end. How could it not? Her eyes flickered as she saw endless white. She took shallow breaths, and her ears were flat back with fear.
Taking another step forward, Legarathien stumbled, and fell. Falling was an endless thing, as well as the snow; it was a feeling that no words could describe. She never wanted it to end, but at the same moment, she had a desire for everything to vanish from the world she was in. Suddenly, she came with a sickening thud onto a ledge. It was icy, and cold but not that big. She didn't dare look down. Legarathien lay there, trying to breathe, her body shaking. Her paws were cracked and bleeding, she had given up moons ago trying to heal them. Legarathien glanced at them, grimacing at the sight. She supposed that her whole body didn't look to good either, and shook her head to clear it.
"Come. Your time is over, it's time to move on." A faint voice was carried over on the wind. Raising her ears, Legarathien thought she had heard another wolf's voice. That was something she hadn't heard in a long while. It didn't repeat itself, and Legarathien sat there, quite puzzled at the moment, and took the time to think of her priorites.
"Q: Why am I doing this?
A: ........ I have no answer.
Q: Do I have a purpose on this earth?
A: Probably not.
Q: Is there any hope?
A: There is always hope, for hope is found deep within yourself, and is the light of the world." She finished these questions inside of her head, laying her muzzle down on her paws. It was inevitable; inconcievable. Sighing, Legarathien stood up. Normally, she would stand up like any other wolf, for she was still quite young, but the wild wilderness had aged her a great deal. This was a very painstaking point in her journey, for the wind was howling, and the ledge was naught much bigger than herself. Her legs were so wobbly, it was even hard to push up her bodyweight. Legarathien laughed mockingly at herself, and murmmered, "You've become an elder so quickly Lara."
Finally, Legarathien was on her four paws, ready for what she was about to do in the road ahead. Closing her eyes, Legarathien took a small moment to give thanks for the wonderful life she had lead, and the wolves she had met in it. The generosity of Destiny, the love of her once-pack. She stood there for a while, lost in her memories, and finally breathed with great peace. Opening her orbs, Legarathien took one last look around her, looking at the mountains and their green fir trees. She took one last breath, one last listen at the world she knew. And then, she stepped into the abyess.
So ends the life of Legarathien the Fair. +
