Diablo scrabbled through the small escape hole in the back of the den. He growled, scenting the air, and realized that it was on Lucinda. He gently placed a bundle of leaves in a crevice full of strange objects, and sighed. There was a long scratch on his shoulder. He searched for some herbs to heal it.

Lucinda sat up and sniffed. It was only Diablo, so she laid her head back on her paws, but kept her violet eyes open.

Diablo growled rubbing against a poulituce that should heal the wound. He blinked slowly, then turned around. He padded over to the official den entrance, and pulled weeds over it to conceal the den. He padded over to the crevice, looking in at the leafy bundle.

"Remember the wolf they called Feather? Well....Lupus kept her stuck in between life in death for a short while....and....I was the one who finished her off...." She had never planned on admitting this but she was having a hard time not thinking about it.

Diablo paused, as if delayed. He glanced down, tilting his head towards Lucinda. Of course, he never turned around to face her, but this was as close as it would ever come to looking at her. "Caught in limbo with Lupus? Congratulations."

Diablo stopped altogether. "Hunter's Moon," he repeated wistfully. He half-turned to Lucinda. "I would like you to run an errand for me. It's a message to Blood and Crimson. I have some... things... that I must accomplish, and am unable to do this myself."
