As if Nova had ever given up an arguement so easily? She would have laughed if the situation wasn't so grim. A frown curled on her maw and her clear sapphire eyes darkened to stormy grey. "Ameral" Nova barked firmly, "there's no 'together'. I'm walking my own path and no body is going to follow me or I'll skin them alive. Lithium is mine to take down and nobody, not even you, are going to get in my way or put yourself at risk. I won't let you do that."

"Then remove my skin if you must..." he said cooly. "What else do I have to lose other than the one that's de-skinning me?" he chuckled. "Nova, I'm going with you. Argue if you must, but it won't change anything." he said in a stern tone. "But if you must go on without me..." he sighed. "Then I guess... I'll just stalk after you in the shadows..." he sighed as if he fainted.

"Ameral, why do you have to make this hard? I'll come back after I've killed Lithium for what she did to my dad. I will be back and I will be fine. I don't want you getting hurt just because....because I owe my dad much more then just...saying I'll never forget him. That's not enough to me. I owe him more then that but, like the rest of the pack, this isn't something you have to do. This is my justice because Mist is too much of a coward to go and find the loner that did it." Nova met Ameral's sapphire eyes with her own, a slight frown curling on her pretty maw. If she found Tundra on the way to finding Lithium that would be killing two birds with one stone. Literally. Nova had no doubt that if she ever did see her mother and brother again she'd try to kill them both, or give them the cold shoulder and leave them, possibly chasing them from the packlands if she had to.

"I know its not something I have to do. I want to do this. Nova, I know Mist has been cowering lately, but she means only good, she couldn't leave her pack nor risk proeliaters leaving in a time of this great sickness..." he stifled a cough right at the moment. "But I am coming with you." he finished his statement.

"No you are not" Nova barked firmly. "You won't come because if I see, smell or sense you trailing me, I'll claw your eyes out, skin you and leave you for the crows to snack on!" She was a feisty one when it came to arguing. Nova hated putting others in danger. She wouldn't let Ameral come after her, even if she had to hurt him to make him see that. Azari had been hurt. He had been all she had. Now Ameral was all that was left...her only link to sanity. If another wolf she cared for died, Nova was sure her mind and heart would simply break and she wouldn't let that happen. She wouldn't let him follow her. "I'm like my mother Ameral. I'm a leaver. Follow me and all you'll wind up with is nothing. It's better not to trust wolves like me."
Even if she hated it, Nova knew she was almost a carbon copy of Tundra both in mind and body though...now it seemed in habit. She left things behind. Like Tundra had left Ari. She had to lie to herself to keep going. Had to lie to others. Kill those she love, either physically or emotionally. Even if she hated it, Nova couldn't deny it.
Turning away from Ameral, Nova set off at a brisk pace, head high and sapphire eyes hardened and icy.

He chuckled and called after her, "Then, in what way would that keep me from getting in danger?" Ameral smiled and turned in the opposite direction... or did he? No. About a fourth of a mile up he turned into a small crevice, lept over it and continued after Nova, in a slow pace, though brisk. He kept his senses alert. He stayed low to the ground when he had left the Sheeran Territories. He felt strangely at ease out of the terras, though he wasn't sure if whoever lived in these parts would feel so quite at ease if he was there. So he kept hidden.
