Nightshade regarded Nadira warily. "Packs? Here?" She inquired. "Did you follow the laws of the Twilight Wolves?" she asked, referring to their warrior ancestors. "We've come across several small packs that seemed to have to religious system at all," Nightshade explained herself. She was not unkind about her questioning, just generally wondering. Nightshade studied Nadira with interest. The fae had a silvery sheen about her. Judging from appearence alone, Nightshade would've called her a Silver Mist wolf. However, that was for Arroyo or Silenthowl to decide. And that was another thing that ate away at her mind....who was the new alpha now that Siveria had fallen?

Destiny lept up.padding swiftly across the clearing towards Nadira , the other wolf, and her daughter.Swiftly a snowy paw went forward.Around her daughter. Destiny pulled Akaira to her. Icy pools turned back to Nadira as her crown tilted back up. Picking her daughter in her maw Destiny began to carry Akaira back towards Sirius and Grey Mist.
Akaira grumbled. "You always worry too much mama."she grunted. Then went limp , making it easier for Destiny to carry her.

Akemi pricked her ears and followed Nadira. She felt a little weird having to stand in front of so many others. Why did she have to say my name? I could've said it. She sighed and tried her best to smile when the little pup came up and spoke. How cute.
Grug looked around the with curiosity. He saw Gaara and Accalia with both of their heads drooping. "There they are!"
Zuni opened his eyes and he could see again. "Guess what Grug! My snow blindness has finally left." He followed his brother's gaze to Accalia and Gaara. "Oh yea. I almost forgot about what happened. Their leader... dead... but she has also finally earned the title of Winter Goddess."

Carolina padded up to Destiny, wary and ashamed. "Destiny....may I speak with you?" she asked. She wanted to apologize for her breif stay with Silver Mist. She'd genuinely thought Blue Moon was her soul mate....genuinely thought there had been no other way for them to be together...
Now Blue Moon was dead. He'd sacrificed his life to save the packs. There was no bringing him back, ever. She would never be able to explain to him how much she'd loved him. Many had laughed at them. Blue Moon and Carolina had both been recognized as pups, though Blue Moon had been aproximately nine moons at death. He'd never been appointed a mentor due to his switching between Grey Mist and Silver Mist. Carolina was about eight moons. She knew it was time she was a neophyte, regardless of her pack.
Another thing that had torn her heart out was her father's death. Now she was an orphan...all alone....but wait, where was Thunder, her brother? Would he still welcome her, or would her shoo her away?

Destiny nodded to Carolina. Swiftly she tread across to Sirius. Laying Akaira at his paws. "Keep an eye on her Sirius."She commanded sternly. Then her form made it's way back to Carolina.she nodded her crown."Follow me Carolina."She instructed the femme. Then padded off to a more secluded area where the twosome could alk in private.

Avalanche looked curiously around at the crowd of wolves. No scent or hair of Axle. He had left days before the battle and he was still gone now. I know my own son and I know he wouldn't run away... but... Avalanche remembered words he told his son long ago. Sometimes you'll face an opponent you cannot beat alone. That's what teamwork is for. Two is always better than one. All Avalanche could think was that his son was dead and he would probably never see him again till he died.

Carolina swallowed her nerves and nodded. She followed Destiny over to the woods, wondering what the alphess would say about her escapades. She didn't even know where to begin.... Destiny most likely knew what Carolina wanted to speak about, so Carolina decided to let the elder wolf speak first. She didn't want to say the wrong thing...not in a time like this...

Finally Destiny's paws ceased movement. The femme seated her form behind some trees. The two she wolves could speak in private here. Destiny could not help but allow a smile to crest her snowy maw as pools gazed down at Carolina. The younger wolf seemed very nervous. "I understand what you went through with Blue Moon , Carolina." She did. Destiny had fallen head over heels for a wolf who was dead now. Both the wolves she had loved had been anothers. Now she had pups belonging to both of them in one litter. Lakota was dead. Grug was probably dead too. She had'nt seen the wolf for a while. Destiny had yet to tell Grug he had a pup.The brute had no clue. "But I sense that is not the only thing you want to speak to me about.Your time in Silver Mist has something to do with it, yes?"

"Yes," Carolina admitted. "Between the switching of packs and the journey across the mountains, I have come to pass the age of six moons. I am now eight moons and am still recognized as a pup," She explained to Destiny. "I know it's already asking much to allow me back into the pack, but I couldn't be of any use to you unless I'm training. I'm no pup anymore, Destiny." She explained. Destiny was being kinder than she thought the alphess would be. She'd expected to be yelled at and chased away. Perhaps there was still a chance for her?

Destiny looked Carolina up and down. The wolf's words were true. Carolina was definately old enough to be a neophyte. Perhaps she herself would train the fae. A slight smile crested her lips again. "You are right. You are no pup any longer. You are a young wolf. It is asking a lot for me to allow you back into the pack. But you will be of no use without training, you are correct."Destiny flicked an aud in thought."Welcome home to Grey Mist, Carolina."

A slow, nervous smile broke out on Carolina's face. "Oh...Destiny, thank you! Thank you so much!" She wasn't sure how to explain how grateful she was in words, so she resolved to be the loyalest neophyte Grey Mist had seen. She would prove that she belonged in Grey Mist. She'd prove how thankful she was. Pain for Blue Moon was still fresh and cutting, but with her pack and her brother, she would make it out alive. She would find a way to heal.
Tyra thanked Annelise for the thyme, grateful that some of the pain had subsided. However, the pups were still coming, and some pain was required. Annelise frowned, looking frantically for Magic. Magic hadn't told the young pup anything about birthing...and quite frankly, Annelise didn't think the bearer would want a pup helping her give birth. "TISANA!" She called eventually. The Black Mist healer was almost always avaliable.

Destiny only nodded to the younger wolf. Risiing she smiled at Carolina."Come, let us return to our pack."With that the snowy alphess began to pad from the underbrush.Towards her pack. It was time she and Sirius headed for Grey Mist's new territory. But first, the packs new name would need to be chosen. Sirius would pick that.
Aliya padded over to Sirius, her mate. Giving Sothis a motherly lick on the head. "Hello love."She smiled wearily.
Svel rose energetically to her paws. The wolf was fully grown and a well trained neophyte. Destiny had trained her. Svel hoped Destiny would make her a warrior. The alphess was going to appoint her a warrior back before they left but had not had a chance. Svel had been training for more than a moon extra. Maybe even two.

Two wolves stood on a large hill and looked at the group. One wolf was as black as a night with no moon. He was not a stranger, for most knew him as the Wolf Gangster. The second one was a smaller one. Not a pup, but not exactly an adult neither. Her fur was mostly brown with few spots of black. Her ears large ears were pricked and her white paws kneaded the ground with worry.
"Are you sure it's safe, Wolfgang? There's so many of them." The small wolf looked at Wolfgang with worry in her eyes.
Wolfgang nodded. "They won't bite. Well, except for some." He laughed. "I'm kidding. I was only attacked because three wolves were just jealous. Don't ask me why."
The small wolf laughed and looked back down at the large crowd. She wanted to go down and find one alpha. "Maybe when another pack leaves, I'll go and follow. Thank you Wolfgang for helping me. Do you want to come with me just in case one of the packs don't accept me?." She was sure at least one pack would accept her. She had thought that being a loner would help her forget her past, but it didn't.

Star glanced at Destiny, flicking her tail to Kunai. She'd heard much talk of ceremonies, and it was Kunai's time to be neophyted, also. Star secretly hoped she could mentor the pup, but maybe it would be better if he was exposed to other wolves, too. That was for Destiny to decide, anyway.
Carolina nodded, and padded after Destiny. She nodded to Svel, smiling slightly. "Hello! Did you miss me?" She laughed. Wait...where was Sothis? Sothis had been her friend, hadn't he? Were they still friends...?
(and btw, Destiny, Emmett died on the twenty-first. Not sure if Melody knew =\ )

(Oh yah, I saw. I was reading through the posts. Did'nt I give Melody to you though?)
Destiny surveyed her pack. Which wolf whould she choose for her new proxy? New Moon was dead now. Thank Golden Mist.Star might not be a bad choice. The wolf was strong willed. There were lot's too chose from though. Actually, Alaskansong had once been her choice. But the fae was gone, as far as she knew.
Sothis pulled away from his mother.Deep midnight blue pools scanned the clearing. Carolina came into view. The wolfs paws guided him to her. A slight smile crested his blueish black lips. "Hello there."he flicked his tail somewhat happily. A knowing look in his eyes."Old friend.New packmate."
