Carolina smiled, too. "It's good to be back...have you seen Thunder lately?" She asked, curious what had become of her brother. He was the closest thing she had left. She hoped to Lupus he was still alive and well...

Star smiled and Kunai and nudged him slightly. "I think your ceremony's going to be held soon! Are you excited?" She asked the pup. "I wonder what it will be like...teaching and learning in new territories..." She pondered this.

Thunder padded up to Carolina. "What's going on?"

Tisana ran over to Tyra, her mouth full of herbs. "Very good Annelise!" she praised. "Couldn't have done better myself!" The herb healer sat beside Tyra. "Just calm down. Everything's okay. No problem."

Svend dashed over to Tyra. He was calm. As usual. "Is everything okay?"

Tisana smiled. "Yes, yes, sir."

Dusty padded up to Nightshade. "Who might the new alpha be, Miss? I wish to talk to them."

Sothis smiled. "I beleive that's him now." He gave a slight respectful tilt of his head to Thunder.

Destiny thought to herself. Kunai, Carolina both needed to be neophyted. Svel needed to become a warripr.

Accalia stopped and looked around. "I wonder where our new territory will be. I also wonder what our new name will be. What do you think?" She looked curiously at Gaara. Her fur bristled and tail lashed. She didn't really want an answer. She wanted to find out where they were going and speed across to the new lands.

Gaara flicked his ears to show he was thinking. He stopped and sat down and stared. He looked past everyone else, past the land, and over the horizon. "Who's the alpha going to be now?" he asked half to himself.

Grug walked over to Accalia and Gaara. "Hi you two! Long time no see?" He half smiled, not forgetting the battle that had to happen not to long ago.

"Guess what!" exclaimed Zuni coming up to stand next to his brother. "I got snow blindness because the glare from the sun reflected off the snow. And it really hurt and my eyes were bloodshot and teary. Then days later it's gone and I can see as good as new." He ended his sentence with a happy nod.

Carolina let out a howl of joy. "THUNDER!" She tackled her brother and nuzzled him lovingly. "How've you been, bro?!"

Tyra nodded, then let out another squeal of pain. One pup born. The pup was a lovely, light brown and white female; a creamy colored female. Tyra licked her new daughter lovingly. Smiling, she spoke, "Her name is Freya...OWWW!!!"

Nightshade hesitated. She looked between Arroyo and Silenthowl, uncertain. Arroyo was an amazing wolf. He had the potential of an amazing leader. However, Arroyo had almost died today. He was both emotionally and physically worn out. Silenthowl was young and strong-willed. Yes, Siveria's death had hurt the wolf horribly, but she was a survivor. Turning to Dusty, she spoke, "Go speak with the wolf named Silenthowl. She'll be able to help you out."

(Ughhh.... how many have you got? Just one? If so I'll take two. I'm tired of twins. XD)

Dusty nodded. "Thank you, Miss."

Tisana licked Tyra's forehead. "Calm down, sweety. You're doing fine."

Svend smiled. "Beautiful, darling."

Thunder smiled. "Fine until now, because I think I'm swiftly losing oxegyn. How much did you eat when you were a Silver?"

Carolina rolled her eyes. "Destiny said she'd have my ceremony later! That means she'll have yours, too!" She smiled. "We can train together! Isn't that great?"

Nirvana stayed stoic and still throughout all of this. She felt terribly cold, yet numb to all feeling at the same time. She simply stared at the spaces in front of her, not noticing what was going on around her. Emmett, her dearest brother, was dead.

Tyra winced as the last two pups were born. She nuzzled them closer to her and looked up at Svend. "You name them," she told her mate breathlessly. She smiled up at Svend, love and adoration in her eyes.

Annelise dipped her head. Inside, she was glowing with the healer's praise. She mentally noted the information she'd learned today. Poppy seeds are NOT to be used during a birthing...thyme is used instead...

Nadira's features all soften at the approach of the cub and she can't help grinning at the cub's greetings. "Hello, youngling" she replies, nodding understandingly when her mother hastens her away.

Looking at Nightshade, Nadira tilts her head one direction and then the other. "The laws of the Twilight Wolves? I am not sure what that means. We followed the Way. The balance of the Earth Mother held in highest respect which ensures the growth and health of the pack. Is that not the way of all packs?" she asks, curiously

Accalia flicked her tail to show she had heard her cousin. Although, her ears flattened at Gaara's words. "We'll have an alpha soon. That's for sure." She walked around in circles, practically ignoring her cousins.

Gaara nodded at Grug and Zuni. "Well, at least your snow blindness wasn't that bad. I hear you can get cataracts from that." He half closed his eyes, trying not to make himself fall asleep. All the traveling and fighting was wearing him out.

Zuni glared at Accalia. "Yea, ignore your cousins. Be glad we get to see each other at certain times." He smiled again at Gaara's words. "I sure was lucky, wasn't I. I'm going to make sure that never happens again, though."

"And if it does," Grug said. "I know the one wolf who can help you. He's not a healer, but he knows what it's like being blind." He looked over at Avalanche who still had a worry face. Has his son still not returned?

Nightshade pondered Nadira's words. "The Twilight wolves are eight wolves. Four of them are the leaders of the first packs of wolves. They are Lupus, Sky, Wind, and Verlust. The four others are the seasonal divinities. These are Feather of Summer, Thorn of Autumn, Rhain of Spring, and..." She hesitated. Had Verlust won, we wouldn't be here right now. "...Siveria of Winter."

Thunder smiled. "Perfect! As long as you lose some weight in the process!" He winked.

Svend smiled. One fae pup was pure white. Her little tail was unusually long. The other pup, a brute, was spotted, like a calico cat. Strange for a wolf. "The brute will be... Tavel. The fae is... Blair. Tavel, Blair, and Freya. I like it."

Tisana smiled. "Perfect. Strange names... but they fit. You know Tavel is like the french word for spotted?"

Svend nodded. "Exactly."

Akemi sighed and lowered her head. The pack I used to be leader of had no rules. Just a bunch of teens and pups gone bad. There was no order in that pack, that's why I was rebelled against. She stood back up straight. "Siveria is the new Winter Goddess. Am I correct?"

"And Freya is an old norse name....it refers to a great huntress." Tyra smiled. She nodded, accepting her new family with pride and love. "Tavel, Freya, Blair..."


Nightshade nodded. "Yes. Siveria is the goddess of Winter."

(AHAHHA! Right when I said "Siveria of Winter", the Trans-Siberian Orchestra comes on XD )

Blair let out a little squeek as Tavel stepped on her tail. Tavel shrank back.

Tisana laughed. "They seem healthy to me! And this weather isn't as cold as it has been. They should be fine. If anything happens, just call me."
