MOONLESS MEETING!! {Jan. 18th '08}

[Destiny]

Akaira's blue amber eyes stared up at Sirius. The whimpering fae backed farther underneath the fallen alphess leg. Whimpering and crying beneath her mother's snowy fur. Destiny'as blood was crimson on Akaira's maw. the pup squekrd as she tumbled into a larger puddle of crimson. Jolting from beneath her mother's leg she skidded past Sirius. Slamming into Aliya's front legs. Akaira let out a bark of fright as Aliya glared darkly and angrily down at her. "Get out!" Aliya was yelling down at her now too. Akaira stumbled back into Destiny. The fae stared into her mother's lifeless eyes. Trembling Akaira turned again. This time met by the hard gaze of Svel. The pup squeaked.

Soot had been listing to Mist's news. The brute stared. The Destinian Pack alphess had just been murdered. At a Moonless Meeting.

Starlight nodded to Reason's words. She wouldn't speak up to others. Her eyes were in shock when she saw a leader, no her leader die right there in front of her. She saw her go down without a fight. She was taken down by her own daughter. She didn't know anything about the family situtation but she felt bad for them.

[Destiny]

Akaira looked around terrified. Where the Hellfire was she supposed to go? She was just a pup! The little fae trembled under the glares of her packmates. Looking like a very lost pup. Which is exactly what she was. She heard some wolf standing up for her. Blindly she ran towards the voice and slid cowering underneath Reason. Paws over her face. The litle pup trembled wildly.

Reason licked the top of Akiara's head, "It wasn't your fault, " she woofed gentle to the pup. Her blue gaze became hard when she looked up. Was she the only voice of reason? Her mind whirl and she realized what was happening finally, they were shunning the alphess's daughter for murdering her mother by mistake. Reason stood her ground, "She is only a pup, and it was an accident, Akiara would you ever do that to your mother?" she growled to the older wolves and said the last part gently to the pup below her. Reason held her gaze hard and stiff and she hoped that Rhyme would back her up.

"Reason is right!" a howl came from beyond a group of wolves, it was Rhyme. She approched her twin calmly, her green eyes wide like her sister and she stood by Reason's side, "If you shun her what will happen to her, she is only a pup." she looked to Reason ,"Oh yeah, I can be deep," woofed the often hyper neophyte.

Reason nudged her sister, "If you shun her I'll leave aswell." woofed the wise neophyte. her words flowed from her like a silver river floing from the mountains. Gentle and calm but one that can quickly become fierce and bold.

[Destiny]

Akaira looked at the two wolves standing up for her. "I- I didn't mean too! It was Loni! He-he wanted to kill her! I-i-i couldnt j-just stand there! she-she moved, it was an accident, i d-dint mean to!" The fur around the pups eyes was wet now with tears and her vision blurred. Rhyme and Reason. They were Sheerans.

Rhyme looked at her sister wide-eyed. She then closed her eyes and thought, 'Reason what are you doin?' then opened her eyes knowing Reason had been listening.

Reason blinked and thought, 'What I think is right.' matter-o-factly. She cared for those who were younger than herself, she didn't even care whether they were Desitinian or Sheeran or Yozoran or for that fact Sevirian. Akaira was a pup. No diffrent.

Rhyme looked to who she was acctually defending. Then she took a step back, 'SHUN THE DESTINIAN PUP!" she howled. Reason's glared fell upon her traitor of a twin.

[Destiny]

This time Svel stepped forward. No, stalked forward. Taking her glare from Reason she looked at Akaira. "I might have been adopted by Destiny. But , your no sister of mine. TRAITOR!" Svel's words came out in a snarl. Then, baring her fangs at Akaira, she stepped back again. Joining Rhyme's chant with her own ."SHE"S NO DESTINIAN WOLF!TRAITOR!"

Akaira moved between Reason's front paws. Standing, though wavering on her paws. SHe glared up at her adopted kin. Akaira looked frantically around for Rapier. But something told her she would not find her other brother. Akaira was five, nearly six moons. The wold protecting and standing up for her was a neophyte.

Rhyme looked at her twin, "AND BANISH THE SHEERAN TRAITOR!"

Sirius stood beside Destiny's body, ignoring the words of the other wolves. His eyes were on Destiny's blood-splattered form and sorrow hanging like mist around him. He raised his eyes to the other wolves. "I speak for the Destinians now and this is what I have to say for Destiny's daughter. Other packs may take her. She is no longer among our ranks. For now we must bury our alphess." Turning Sirius looked to Aliya. "Help me carry her, we'll take her back to the camp and let the pack mourn." Sirius's words to Aliya were softer, showing his sadness in a hushed way. Bending his head, Sirius gripped Destiny's scruff and waited for Aliya or one of the other Destinians to help him carry her. For now, this night would no longer be the Moonless Meeting for them. It would be a night of mourning for the last alphess of their old home.

"Whoa,"is all Flash Dance said at the murder of the Destinian Leader.

[Destiny]

Aliya nodded. Sorrow glimmering in her own pools as well. Moving away from the others she gave Sirius an encouraging smile. Then the fea slid herself beneath the broken alphess back. Helping her new alpha to carry Destiny. The other packs could hold their Moonless Meeting. The Destinians were returning to their camp. Aliya gave a summoning howl. Though she probably should have left that for Sirius. Upon realizing this she lowered her tail and gave him an apologetic look. Then began to help him carry the fallen alphess. The last alphess of there old home by the Mirror Lake.

Svel dipped her head in sadness. The beautiful femmora's paws guided her after her new alpha and beta. Sirius and Aliya. Enchanting blue pools drifted to the battered body of her mentor,alphess, and adoptive mother.

Soot stared in disbeleif.

Soot looked around. The brute remained where he had been standing. Watching as the Destinians left the Moonless Meeting to mourn their fallen alphess. Had an alpha ever been murdered at a Moonless Meeting before? He didn't think so. He couldn't remember such an event anyway.

[Sheera]

Sabela watched with disbelief? (I don't know..) She raised her head. "Wolves of all packs. This meeting is over due to the Murder of Destiny." She flicked her tail lept off the rock and raced home her wolves at her tail.

[.Rabid Lycan.]

Arroyo witnessed the entire scene with such intentness that had remained unknown to him since Siveria’s death. Seeing the bloody alphess…
Images flashed through his mind, and he swallowed tears. He eyed Akaira… but it was accusing. It was not ire. Only the pure understanding…
He had and still felt responsible for Siveria’s death. At least another felt the same responsibility…
The old Beta wanted to invite her into the pack, but no… he was almost sure that the others would not approve.
Silently—tears in his eyes—he slipped away from the meeting and into the woods.

Sedaka lowered his head in grief at the scene. He wasn’t a hater, either… But the new alpha had stated his decision very clearly, and the Healer didn’t see any way to argue.
He followed Sirius home.
