Slowly...slowly.... The huntress honed in on her prey, senses alert and attuned intensely to its every movement. Its tiny heartbeat pumped racous to her ears. The flow of its blood was like lightning.... The rabbit was stock still, wide eyes surveying its surroundings with worry and uncertainty. Should I stay or is there danger still? With one last lick of her lips, her target was locked. The dark, stormy figure flew over the fronds of newly birthed greenery, claws locking into the jugular of her pure-white victim. Blood sprayed the ground and dampened her pelt, but she hardly took notice. The last of the rabbits life slid down her throat with a slow, trickle of blood. Backing away silently, Annanti lowered her head to look into the rabbit's eyes. "Dear heavens above, thank you for this meal you have given me. Pray this creature finds a light in your realms." She remained still, eyes closed for a moment. Stepping forward, she tore into her prey with ravenous hunger. Despite her illness, Annanti still honored her prey. It was a thing she'd never heard of doing -- prey was prey and wolves were meant to hunt it. Perhaps that is so, but there are things that were meant to eat us, too. Maybe if we thought of the rabbit's perspective more often, we wouldn't get ourselves into so much trouble... A rustle in the brush around her cause her to glance up from her meal, lips still bloody. "Who's there?"

Raine doesn't know why she is still alive. What was her place in this horrible place? The sickness was rising and it's killing everying including her. There is no cure of the illness and why are wolves still trying. This fae thinks that it's hopeless about the sickness. If it wasn't for the new comers maybe, this wouldn't had happen.
There was a voice that came up to her. Well it didn't come to her because Raine was coming to it. "Someone...." She said randomly. She normally don't say that crap to anyone.

"Oh, very explanatory! Care to step out from the shadows or should I just assume you're a foe? I don't think you'd want to be my foe..." Annanti warned, voice soft as velvet. She licked a bloodied paw absently. She didn't much like killing, but it was the way of life. If this stranger was a threat, she would chase them out. If not, she'd be glad for the temporary company. It had been a long time since she'd befriended another wolf...a long time indeed.

Raine smiled at the other wolf, "It's OK if you want to call me a foe but I'll show myself." She told the wolf and stepped out of the bushes. "There."
