.x. Take Little Steps.x.Furry little paws carried the young brute through the farmiliar lands. Kiba sniffed the air and then moved on. He wasn't looking for anything in paticular, but it would be nice for him to find some prey to hunt or some friends to talk to. He stopped to sit and rest a moment. A rusteling sound came from nearby. The sound a snapping twig made him jump. Something was out there.

The white form of a large white male pup, about eight moons old, wove through the undergrowth. His fur stood out stark white against the winter-browned plants. All around, Kuroshin could hear the crackle and dry rustle of dead plants but paid no heed to the sounds. Bright amber eyes that burned like flames glared through the foliage.
For a pup, he looked fairly formitable. He had taken after his uncle Halo with a large broad build, strongly muscled chest and shoulders, handsomely chisled head and bright amber eyes. Another 'family trait' would be the marking on his forehead, right between his eyes. It was a black heart. His mother, his real one, had been a healer named Merci whom had been black with a white heart on her chest. Her brother, Kuroshin's uncle, Halo, had had a white coat and black mark on his chest. Kuro's sister Kasa was a remake of their mother, black with the white heart and blue eyes. None of his siblings really looked like their father. None of them wanted to because none of them wanted to remember.
Kasa and himself proved as reminders of all the family they had lost, Merci, Fell, Star...so many for wolves so young. Kuroshin hadn't even seen his sister and brother Shiro in several moons. It was depressing being alone and having only the company of a blind she-wolf when she felt like showing up which wasn't often, just often enough to keep him out of trouble.
Kuroshin sighed and looked up. His amber eyes narrowed slightly as he caught sight of a pup up ahead. Frowning slightly, Kuroshin moved forward, looking down at the pup curiously. "Aren't you a little young to be on your own?" he asked cooly.

A voice masculine voice made Kiba jump. He turned to meet the eyes of another wolf. Kiba look at the brute cautiously and then scowled.
"No! I'm not too young. Even if I was no one is going to stop me from being out here by myself." The young brute said rather irritably.
To be honest Kiba was around 3 months old. He really was too young to be out and about by himself, but his parents weren't around so who could tell him differently.

Kuroshin flicked his ears as the little pup piped up his protest. Leaning forward a bit, Kuroshin breathed in, studying the scent then sat back. "So you're one of his huh?" he muttered sourly. "Didn't think the jerk had a mate but whatever." Kuroshin shrugged then eyed Kiba. "Who are your parents?"
Kuroshin thought back as he spoke. Coldfire was the large silver and black brute that had guided him, his uncle Halo and his foster mother Star across the mountains. Between Coldfire and Halo, the pack had been safe but Coldfire had always struck him as too icy to have a mate but then again appearances weren't everything.
Bringing himself back to the present, Kuro sat back on his hunches and looked down at the pup. (idk if u kno but Coldfire is Kiba's dad, him and Luin r his parents)

One of his? Who could he possible be talking about. Who was Him? Was he refering to his father?
"My parents were Coldfire and Luin, why? Is that a problem? And who are you talking about when you say 'him'?" Kiba ased, his attitude calmed some. [[OOC: OMG really sorry for the short post, but I really don't hvae any muse right now...]]
