Red Bull stalked slowly through the woodlands. His ears were pricked for the littlest sound of prey. He kept his eyes open for the approach of another wolf. He kept his nose low to the ground for scent markers. He knew a lot of loners liked to claim land as their own. All he wanted to do was avoid a fight the best he could. Already his muzzle was covered in blood from the tearing skin and flesh. I wonder if my fur will ever come off.Red Bull stopped as he spotted a small bird. A bird will be too painful to catch. Chasing it will be easy, but then I'll have to snap my jaws quickly on it... He rubbed a paw on his muzzle and stopped when he felt bone. A shiver went through his body and he kept going.

Lily was skittish at the best of times, even towards deer. But the smell of blood and the approach of this scary male sent her into a near panic. With short gasping breaths, she began to hyperventilate and then become dizzy. She hadn't marked around the territory, seeing as she was female, it could attract unwanted attention, unlike the strong 'don't mess with me' male scent. Worst thing, this hideous beast was about to walk right into her hiding place- a thorny bush that she'd found an opening into. It didn't really block her from sight, but the sharp thorns should be a deterrant.

Red Bull pricked his ears and looked around. What was that sound? He looked over at the bird as it flew off. Whatever that was, it scared away my prey! He did a slight snarl and crept slowly towards a large thorn bush. He could barely smell anything because of his ripped away nose. Let's see... It's a fae, she seems scared, that's all I can tell. He just shrugged. Probably another wolf just freaking out because of my appearance." 'Ello? Who's there an' what do ya want?" He flicked his ears in annoyance. If it was another wolf laughing or making fun of him, he would just threaten to kill them. But of course, he wouldn't really kill them. He just couldn't. He snapped his bony muzzle together to frighten the wolf hiding in the bush.

A problem with being in a thorny bush and panicking, the thorns weren't picky about who they got stuck into. Now with multiple scratches on her flank and a low amount of oxygen getting in and carbon dioxide coming out, Lily squeaked a word that was almost incomprehensible. "Nutin'!" Pulling half the bush up by its roots when Red Bull snapped his teeth. She was scared enough already without him trying to frighten her.

Red Bull flicked his ears in annoyance. "Nutin', you say? Well then why you hiding?" He made a weird looking smirk as he waited for a reply. He was very curious on how whoever was there was going to try to lie to him now. Maybe I should snap at her again just for the fun of it. That was very funny. He chuckled and sat down, waiting.

Lily strained against the bush, but only succeeded in digging the thorns deeper into her back. He was really scary when he smiled, he would be terrifying even if he didn't, no way of winning. Beginning at a stammering of 's's she managed to say 'sleeping' Though it came out like "ssssss-sss-s-s-s-s-ssswweeeeeeming"

Red Bull had a confused look on his face. "You're... swimming? Right..." He rolled his eyes, obviously annoyed. "So let me guess. You're swimming in the dirt or something. Or you were trying to 'swim' through this bush." These wolves are so full of 'em selves.

Lily shook her head, somehow the creatures sarcasm was comforting. She couldn't quite place it, but animals didn't get sarcastic if they were really nasty, they usually slammed you into the floor and screamed liar in your face. Now a little calmer, she repeated "S-ss-sleeeeeeping" The shivering still running along her length and opening new wounds in her hide.

Red Bull looked curiously at the bushes. "Sleeping, eh? I don't know about you, but that doesn't really look comfortable. Why don't you find a better place to sleep?" He smiled the best he could. He didn't even know how scary he looked that way.

"...If I lie down properly it doesn't hurt" Lily replied defensively, he'd just insulted her, then told her to move, and if that wasn't bad enough, he was doing some horrible grimace with his face.

"I guess that makes sense. I'd still rather find a better place, though." He shrugged and turned around. "Well it was nice talking to you. By the way, what's your name?"

"Lily" The loner muttered, moving away from the painful thorns and licking her newly aqquires wounds, berating herself for reacting so intensely. This wolf wasn't anything, he just had an ugly mug. "And yours?" She returned.

"My name is Red Bull. Nice to meet you." He noticed as Lily licked her wounds. "So I guess that bush really isn't a good sleeping place, eh?"

Lily shook herself, "It was fine until you scared me" She huffed, fluffing up her fur then shaking it back down. "If you stay still its fine..."

Red Bull sat down and scratched his right ear. "What do you mean stay still? You're the one sleeping in the bush, not me." He stopped and looked at Lily angrily.
