(waiting on sirius? i apologize) Light appeared through the trees and the demons chasing Sirius seemed to be falling back. Grunting, Sirius leapt out of the Spirit Wood. Caught by surprise at his sudden freedom from the darkness, the alpha stumbled on his landing and smacked his now white-splashed muzzle on the ground and nearly bit his tongue trying to keep from ruining the flowers he'd gotten. Giving his head a shake, the alpha sat up warily, spitting out the flowers and letting them fall at his paws. His grey eyes were tired and he looked ten seasons older. The brute glanced at Sothis. "Ashamed to have such a clumsy old thing as your father huh?" he barked a bit sarcasticlly, half laughing at himself.

{Anelie's still in there}
"ANELIE GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE!" Silence screeched, throwing Lily to the ground in front of her. The old healer looked completely different than her usual, frail, self. She seemed to sparkle with a crystal aura, completely at peace with the chaos, for this was how the mountain packs fought in both life and death. But the fighting would cease now, yes the demons would descend to hellfire and the others would finally find their way to share with the Twilight Wolves. Except for one thing: Anelie had yet to cross the border. The raidant wolf, a mighty alphess to say the least, darted forward, teeth clutching onto Anelie's scruff. Though she was stained with countless streams of blood, her eyes were narrowed with an undying determination and a spirit that burned strong than even her deepest wounds. Her slit paws cut forward into the grass, ignoring the caterwauling of Lily and her demonic allies as they were chased from the Spirit Wood. Away, away, and away, her paws carried them fast as lightning and as sure as death itself. As the light appeared, horror finally set it : They had run out of time. The Spirit Wood was already falling away from the rest of the world. No time...no time...but only eight of nine? Surely no.... It took only a split second for Mira to understand and accept silently what had to be done. The earth was splitting apart with thunderous noise, the world quaking beneath the paws of the spirited. As the first sparks of the fire, and the first arctic breath of ice erupted from the hell that roamed inside the cracks, Mira threw Anelie forward with as much force as she could, uttering one last prayer that the wolf would make it. Almost simultaneously, Lily and the demons collided with Silence. The darkness was reaching out to the fallen wolf, clutching with spidery, wispy fingers of black-hearted flame and mist. It greedily wrapped around the wolf, her eyes straight and emotionless as she gazed once more out to the nine she'd brought to the chaos that she'd called home. Once upon a time, it had been a true paradise. Once upon a time, there had been no such thing as the darkness...
No longer. All up in arms.... This is the way I will meet my maker tonight...
As the darkness encased her wholy, Silence turned, screaming as loud as her lungs could possibly hold without bursting. All of her life, they had bound her to the ground with their crimson chains of bloodlust;; they had held shut her howl with their murderous claws. No longer would she bow down in the face of the killers. No longer would she bow down to the silence. The time had come for it to break.
And all along... I thought my undoing would come when the nine made their entrance... But no, they were just the beginning. Unto hell, I may go, but my name will be with them... I'll never really leave...
Silver claws ripped holes in their etheral chamer of torture, her brave claws finally wrested on the truth they had concealed so well.
The forest was quite literally falling away, the cracks deep and black and echoing with the screams of their victims. With a wide, gaping, open mouth, and teeth ready to tear, Silence's world fell into their fiendish trap, a universe forever ensnared.
And all at once, the scream of a finely woven dream came to its spinners end.
Silence.
And then it was gone. A blink, perhaps... Or the most twisted of daydreams. But no sign of the destruction, the faded demons, the heavenly spectors, the secret words spoken by the mystic healer....all it came down to was the herbs they still held in their jaws, the wounds that rippled their hearts. But nwo physical proof remained. The world had kissed the scintillating hell that had boiled down to their darkest fears mere fractions of a second before, and yet... Flat. Nothing but a flat, rolling meadow that shimmered with a mockery of sunshine. And now all that remained was the key, the drug, and the war.
The key was inborn ;; something they could never quite get a handle on, but hopefully they understood better now. Each of these wolves held something in their veins that no other wolves had ever been blessed with, not even Mira herself. Who else could run through the devil's snare and not be entangled in the brambles? Who else would resist the most tempting, tantilizing of roses and remember the thorns?
And the drug was carried with the key ;; like a safe, fast locked, and the only way to release the gift to the world was for it to be opened by the hands of the spirited. And now it was, and now it's purpose could be distributed wherever wolvenkind roamed. No...not a cure. A pure, complete, whole-hearted emancipation of the plague.
The war. Something they would never realize until it was too late... And something that had yet to surface. Silence was broken now, far away from them, and never stalling the midnight with her calming layer ever again. No, when blood was spilled onto this very meadow they saw before them, there would be no time to think. Not even seconds. It would by wolf against wolf, in a fight for the right to the bloody ground they'd walk over. Yes... The war lives on.

Anelie's form, already bloody from the multitude of attacks of the ownerless claws, released an odd crunching noise as she hit the ground. She didn't open her eyes, nor did she release the azaleas held tight in her jaw. Her sides heaved with the effort of breathing, her tail, in which was now reduced to an inch long, bloodied, stub, lay limp. Whimpers sounded from her maw, her large wound that stretched over the whole of her body ached and bled. Her ears were shred, her tail gone, everything that had happened in the Spirit Woods flashing, again, before her eyes. "Oh.." she whimpered weakly.

Asha licked her body, trying to keep her warm, licking her ears and she saw the spot, that tail would never grow back, that was an odvious answer. She didn't care this was a wolf from another back, she needed help.

{Somebody rate my death scene ;; I did it on a whim, but crappy as it may be, I still need feedback. Oh, and I'd appreciate it if someone would start a thread in each pack and distribute the cure } Kunai, dazed and frightened, didn't know what else to do but keep running. His paws flew across the ground, caked with blood and brambles. He did not look back at his alpha or Sothis, for fear had gripped the neophyte. He'd come too close to death to look back at where it had been roaring only moments before. He darted away into the familiar forest, and made his way back home to the Destinians. {I'll end my stint with Kunai at that. Nightlight can pick him back up when it's convieniant for them.}

Coal bowed his head suddenly, shivering. Slivers of memory had been crashing through his mind, maddening the confusion further. Bear, bear, bear... where have I seen those eyes.He flexed his claws, grimacing as he did so. Everything ached, but he was fairly alright... with the exception of the scar across his cheek. ...who was that white wolf? Enough. We must get home.((I thought it was pretty good sivvy! I mean, not as good as the Death o' Death, mind you... but a high seven or eight outta ten at the very least )

Tisana gripped the ground with her claws and stared. Just stared. The earth had opened up before her and all she could do was stare. She closed her eyes tight and crumpled in the spot, if only for a moment's rest.
(What are we supposed to do, exactly? Did the cure magically mix together? XD)

The crunched wolf pushed herself to her feet. She shaked miserablly, but the lives of others rested in the remaining of her life. She did not say her goodbyes, she had to get to camp. Her paws carried her quicker, than those of a wolf in her state should've been able to go without death. Blood spattered in all directions as she raced to the Sheeran lands, I must get to the party clown--- Anelie! Get yourself together! Think straight! Get home! Save wolves! Go!

For several long moments Sothis remained. Waiting. Thinking. Please... Oh please let her be there.. Not dead... Not gone... Please let her live on... My Carolina... My precious sparkling gem.. Finally the brute turned and dashed away. Ignoring everything around him and heading back to the Destinians. Back to the place where he would either be greeted with a reality worse then Hellfire or a paradise he had never known. And all this depended on that one femme.

Artem stood, watching Spirit Wood split into itself. As soon as everything faded and the world resumed its normal shape, he realized what he had to do. The brute picked up his piece of the cure and zoomed off toward the Loner Territories. Hopefully he would reach it in time.
