A dark form hovered near Tisana, then transformed into a brighter wolf, a picture of Robin. She shrank back from Tisana, eye's wide and brimming with sorrow. "Y-You want me to leave?!" She stuttered, voice ringing through the forest.
CRACK. Lily howled maniacly, and launched herself after the nine into the Spirit Wood.
Silence laid, bloody on the cracking border. She stirred, but did not move. She attempted to stand, but failed miserably. All she could do now was hope the others had gotten their parts done quick enough, and that they didn't run directly into Lily...
"That's right, Anelie! Fight on!" Ember called, delivering a fresh attack to Anelie's pursuers.

"No, of course not, hunny." Tisana soothed. "I need... to get... to the tree..." She began to doubt her own sanity.
She sang to herself. One fine day in the middle of the night, two dead boys got up to fight. Back to back they faced eachother, pulled out their swords and shot one another. The deaf cop on the beat heard the noise and came and shot the two dead boys!

No one's gonna hurt you, no, not while I'm around... "But you let them hurt me, didn't you, Tisana?" Robin whimpered. Not while I'm around.... "You let them hurt me..." she cried, tears dropping from the ghostly form.

Anelie ran faster through the endless emptiness. She saw nothing but blank land. Her paws carried her faster and out of the grip of the pressing force. She glanced backwards to see that the pressing force was the shadows. Darkness had been pressing upon her. She looked forward to see she was racing straight into the shadows. She pressed her paws hard into the ground, only to stop entering the shadow, but her head and shoulders were plunged into the darkness. She screeched as she felt claws ripping her head, her shoulders being bit and ripped apart. She ripped her forepaws at the force to find nothing. She felt blood drip from deep wounds, and she ripped her head back and out of the shadows. She felt the horrible pain fron her head to her shoulders, but she turned from the shadows and raced away towards what she felt was where she would find what she was looking for.

Coal padded on forward, fairly unsure of what lay ahead. And soon, he found himself traveling along a dark wood. A shadowed wood. He frowned at the blackness, but didn't see anything wrong. He paused, seeing a figure in front of him. It was white. It was bloody. It was female, too. It was whispering his name... But Coal stared and stared, but hard as he try nothing came to him. He did not remember this wolf-- the wolf he had loved before the attack. Ignoring her pleas, Coal raced past the wolf who could make or break him and pressed onward. There, he saw something familiar. A bear. It was speaking to him, edging closer. His eyes widened and his tail drooped. It wasn't the bear itself, but its eyes that were familiar. Somehow... somehow he knew this bear. He took a step back, startled by the recognition. D-don't I know you?

Kunai ran on, scenting the trees and he whipped swiftly by. He was now being shadowed by a silvery guardian. He didn't know who the brute was, but he did know he was not a shadow wraith. He continued his desperate search without really thinking of the name, just remembering the pungent image that had been sent to him. There it was: an acorn. Kunai took as many as he could hold, but was stopped by a vicious growl. The young wolf turned to see Lily looming over him, jaws outstretched and claws lashing towards his face. He dove away just in the nick of time, the darted back towards where Sirius was. "SIRIUS! SHE'S HERE!" He howled, alarm and panic pulsing through his veins.
No, no, Coal! Ignore the stupid bear and get on with it! Came a harsh call. The blazing form of a fallen Miran-Siverian was next to him, pleading with him to move forward.

Coal heard the call, but still couldn't move. All he could think about was how the bear was bringing memories-- maybe it could return my memory-- NO! He forced himself passed the beast that was tempting him away from his task. The forest was more important than his past... though a part of his heart ached to know what he had forgotten. He traveled onward, shoving away his desires.

...Daisies, Coal,.....daisies.... murmured a soft voice.
Lily chased after Kunai, coming to a stop when she spotted Sirius. She switched paths and lunged at the Alpha, raking her claws across his flanks.

Anelie's eyes hit a blast of color that seemed to flame in the world of emptiness. Purple, orange, pink, and white, she saw them there, but knew she could not get them without a fight. She raced towards them, filled with surprise as nothing stopped her, but in weird flash of an unknown amount of time she was blinded and the world of emptiness was filled with its normal ingrediants once more. The azaleas were gone, and again she saw known, poisonous plants around her. She glanced anxiously around for the flowers, but they were gone and she was left to search again. She glanced at Lily and raced at her. She pushed her away from him and glared at her hatingly. GO SIRIUS! FIND THE PLANT!! she yelped at him. Anelie's eyes hit what she wanted, but she continued to fight Lily off. Azaleas... must fetch.. Azaleas! she screamed inwardly.

Artem plummeted into the Spirit Wood, keeping aware of his surroundings. Things felt differently here. The trees were too close to be real, almost a wall. Where he could walk through was a path alone. This was his only way.
Suddenly, he heard the cries of other wolves behind him. His parents, his former pack. The forest around him looked almost aflame. He saw his mother and father barking across the fire, in the darkened forest. They were calling for his help. Artem looked away, knowing that he could not enter the darkness. They're in the Twilight Realm, he thought hard. But as Artem walked on, he saw another wolf in the fire. It was his old friend Luin. She was trapped, desperately searching the clearing for a way out. It was too real. The brute's heart thudded, and good nature nagging inside his head. He took a small step toward her. No! he told himself, stepping back. I saw her not long ago, in the Loner Territories with her pups. The spirit of Coldfire is protecting her.
Artem shook his head and walked on.

Water lillies, Artem... came the whispers.
Anelie, Sirius cannot take your part for you. I can hold her here long enough for you to find them, but that's all, Ember explained, taking Anelie's place in the battle with Lily.
Lily struck down the fae almost immediately, but Ember would not give up so easily. The thrased back and forth, in a fury of tooth and claw.

Anelie knew this; she knew the nine would individually have to bring the cure home, together. She raced away, trying desperately to find the plant once again. Come on. Let go, let go.. a voice sang gently within her. No, I won't.. she whispered back. Oh well, whatcha waiting for, It's alright, 'Cause there's beauty in the breakdown, Let go, l-let go, just get in, Oh, it's so amazing here, It's alright, 'Cause there's beauty in the breakdown... the voice was strong, but gentle and complex. I-I won't, I will.. keep fighting on... she whimpered. Let go, let go.. the voice sang gently.

Fight, yes, but not so hard. Let the image of your goal fill your senses. Think of nothing else, and your paws will take you the rest of the way, breathed a silver wolf.
The azaleas rested ahead, however, they rested in the shadows. If Anelie was going to reach them, there was only one way...through the darker side.

Drink up, baby down Mmm, are you in or are you out leave your things behind 'cause it's all going off without you excuse me, too busy you're writing your tragedy these mishaps you bubble wrap when you've no idea what you're like... the voice grew louder and louder, still remaining in the soft mellow tone. Anelie's heart gave a jerk at these lyrics, but soon her stomach bubbled as she saw them; she saw the azaleas. Anelie raced forward her eyes set on the flowers, her heart thumping faster with every step. Please, please don't go! the pleaded to the flowers over the soft voice. She was almost there; she was so close, but just as she reached their location she stopped dead. Shadows, darkness... she remembered what Silence had said, but now she stood staring straight into them.

Ember was pinned to the ground, and as Lily's fangs pierced through her shimmering throat, the ghost cried out an impossibly beautiful, sorrowful cry. He form gave way and dispersed into mist. Warn your warmth to turn away.... Here it's December... Every day...
Screamings and wailings of tortured wolves issued from the darkness, but still, the azaleas rested their, plainly rooted into the blackened ground.
