Coal suddenly blanked out, pupils shrinking and goosebumps creepings out from under his skin. His form stiffened, rigid as cardboard as he staggered back a step. He was staring deep into Ivory's eyes. "...t-the b-b-bear?" he stuttered, a cold sweat moist against the pads of his paws. Those glowing eyes... those glowing eyes! The demon-- He blinked very slowly, feeling the gash flex on his face. The gash of the bear's ghost, right from its claws-- He shrunk back. "...the b-bear... he was there..." A violent shiver raced up his spine, and he stumbled to the ground, shaking.

Nightshade's eyes narrowed. "Well, then, if you're really not a murderous cat like most of us think you are, prove it. Shut your damn mouth while we friggen heal our alphess and we'll get to you when we're fucking ready!" Nightshade snapped icily. She wasn't about to take backtalk from anyone;; not right now. They had bigger problems to deal with.

Ivory ripped her gaze from Coal, her optics cold. She chuckled madly. "Think as you want, dearest wolf!" she chuckled towards Nightshade. She whipped her gaze to her beloved. "Coal?" she jumped towards him and nuzzled his cheek lovingly. "Yes Coal, he was there. He was the one... he hurt you, he ruined us, he maddened her." her last word was a growl. Ivory's eyes filled with tears of anguish once again. "...but she can't seperate us again, no. Coal, it was Hell. I was weighed with a guilt; but I didn't do anything. I was accused, wrongly accused, and I was weighed with the guilt of one who had done it. Coal, I reconized that then as guilt, but now I see it as... emptiness, an incomplete spirit, not guilt... anguish."

Nightshade growled crossly, then sighed, thinking of Siv. It was Siv who had first allowed Ivory into the Silver Mist pack....and Ivory was of Siverian descent. Still, though what the wolf said might be true, she wasn't so sure she'd be happy if Ivory was allowed back in. For one thing, she hadn't the slightest ounce of respect or humility. Nightshade could tell that much from the way she'd barged in and went at Sabela.
Nightshade turned, gazing around for the alphess. "Sabela," she whispered in a low tone to her leader. "What do you make of all of this?"

"Allz suf what?" the dazed voice asked from her den, as though hung over from a strong drunken night. "Oyz! Suf sa cloud sittingz inz the scamp?" she tried to focus her mind, but her bloodloss had left her dazed, and dizzy. "Whoooz sus she?" she asked, blinking her eyes, and tumbling out of her den. "Shez looks familair..?"
Ivory sat beside Coal, murmuring words of comfort.
[Sabela's a little 'drunken' right now...]

"That's Ivory, Sabela," Nightshade murmured, calm and patient. Wait....does Sabela even remember Ivory? She wasn't really around when we came here....and Ivory would be a senior warrior if she was in the pack...

"Please, eat," Magic murmured, nudging the daisies and other herbs from his den toward her. It'll help you think! he added silently.
"Bear, bear... where'd I see that bear before?" he whispered to himself. The touch of Ivory's muzzle against him confused him further. "I... I... uh..."

"Coal--I am Ivory, I was a neophyte, when you rescued me from the crude first battle against Blood Mist, I was to be believed as dead, and was to be announced a proeliater when I returned, but as you know, I was 'dead.' I was confused, and suffering from bloodloss..." she glanced at Sabela, "...so I stood and ran, only to returned after Lucy, an elder loner healed me, returning my knowledge and sanity to me. We -you and I- went hunting moons after my return, only to run into a gigantic, humungous bear. It was a bloody fight, but you ended up unconscience, and I ended upw ith severe injuries and a broken paw. When I dragged you back to camp I was then wrongly accused of murder and chase away." she glanced at Sabela once again. "...I have heard, from the murmuring of the loners and rogues, the many rumors of your memory-loss. I had a slight belief in them, as.. you didn't come after me... you didn't come to my aide. Well, I planned to run into the mountains moons ago, but I fell into the very claws of the sickness, I writhed, and fought, with Lucy's disapearance, and the insanity almost making me leap to my feet and race here... which would have led to an attack. After a couple moons, I recovered... and I found Kar, a neophyte from the Siverian pack. I decided that I would take him to the territories, then lurk back to the loner lands, unnoticed, but I couldn't, no, I had to see you, Coal, I had to!" she finished breathing hard her chest heaving.

Annelise remained nest to her brother, nudgng the cure in his direction. She sent a furious glare over at Ivory, then turned back to Kar. She began to groom the dirt from his pelt, still worried frantic as if she herself were his mother. But it had always been this way; Kar looking out for Annelise, and Annelise doing the same. With their father silent, and their mother deceased, they had no other way.
Mystic took the packet that was given to her and took it over to Lance. "Here, you need it more than me," she sighed, teary-eyed. She hated watching him suffer.

Lance weakly shuffled toward her and nibbled the packet, striving to control the urge to gag up more blood. "...thanks..." he coughed.
Coal watched Ivory carefully. "W-why hasn't Sabela mentioned y-you t-to me b-before?" He had not been conscious during the exile.

Mystic sighed heavily. There was a strange distance between them....perhaps the strain had come from the sickness, or perhaps their love had passed. Nevertheless, she sat beside Lance, as she always would unless he told her otherwise.

"I'm guessing she was shielding you from the dangers of knowing someone attempted to murder you?" Ivory suggested. "Which isn't true..." she added in an undertone to Coal. She looked at Kar, the limp figurine, and walked towards him, brushing against Coal. "Kar?" she murmured gently. "Where were you yesterday? Alone or with another wolf?" this was her que for him to tell the pack she had no intention in murderer him, therefore proving she had not attempted murder towards Coal.

Annelise immediately stood, coming betwen Kar and Ivory. "You get the hell away from him!" The young healer snapped. "Didn't you hear Sabela and Nightshade? We're waiting until our other dealings are sorted out. Patience is a gift of warriors. Perhaps you lack it?" Annelise's voice was sickly sweet, mocking. She took my brother away for no reason. I'll be damned if she's a Siverian ever again!

Ivory sat calmly. "I do lack that. You do forget that I have been gone for a long time, sent to burn in Hellfire." she sighed. "You also seemed to have forgotten, that I was not the one who took your brother from the pack, if I remember correctly it was... foxes was it?" she looked away from both Annelise and Kar. Am I blamed for everything now? The murder of Coal, running away from the pack, and now taking away Kar? I wish to join you very soon, dearest mother, Goldenpool.

Annelise snorted with irritance. "And you just thought it was all right to run around with him for a while? No. Fox or no fox, you still kept him in."
