Eventually the brute's call became quieter and queiter until finally disappearing like a whisper on the wind. You need to leave now. The pack is in need. Go. Now. The brute's optics eventually left the glistening stars of the night sky. They landed on the fae. Bathump.Bathump. Thump. Thump. Thump. Bathump. Iver seriously hoped that the fae could not hear the intense beating of his heart. Though he assumed that she was much to far away to hear it anyway. The beta new he must leave, return to his pack. But he seemed to be frozen in place, optics locked on Nightshade.

It all rushed to her in a minute, and her paws snapped up from the beaten down grasses. "I...I should really leave...Sabela....I mean....I have to leave....I have duties to see to....things....to....do...." the jumble of words left her mouth in a flash, feeling awkward in the air, and a bitter taste rolling over her tongue. Still, her eyes were unable to completely tear away from him. Heart still racing, she took a few steps back. The next few moments seemed like eons, and yet, seconds later, she ripped her violet optics from Iver and raced away into the dark, twisted forest. She paused once out of sight, desperate to catch her breath. What happened back there? When will I see him again...?

The brute's canvas stood on end, every hair seeming like it had been electricuted. Don't... Go so soon... Haha! I told you! Burn in Hellfire concionce. The brute watched with slightly sorrowed optics as the fae dashed away into the darkness. Suddenly he felt an urge to race after her. It disappeared with thoughts of his own pack and the beta, too, dashed away into the darkness of night.
