Mist sighed again, eyes troubled. "I suppose then, I'll have to admit the truth, won't I? I don't see any other option..."

"That may be for the best... it would be quite unfortunate if you had to hide half your life from your pack. It would be wrong if you hid something like this from them." he murmured.
You can't hide a relationship from a pack, just because they don't know about it... that would be like hiding a bloodline from a pup, because they can't see yet.

Mist flinched involuntarily. "No...I need to speak with Light befre I do anything. I need to know for sure..." she murmured to herself more than anyone. "Vance will you watch the pups for a moment? Maybe get Winnie to help...I'll be back soon..." She left the nursery, running from the camp.

Winnie appeared right on time, glacing at Vance curiously. "Well then, I didn't know you were a mother!" She joked.

[Sheera]

Vance watched his mother disappear, towards the Yozoran terras. He smiled warmly at Winnie, his heart leaping a great leap, then accelarating towards the speed of light.
"Well, I think the mothering heads towards you, now," he chuckled.

Winnie giggled a bit. "Well, that makes you a father, at least! And that means while I'm holed up in a warm nursery, you have to go out there and hunt!" She teased, pushing him lightly with a paw.

[Destiny]

Tiah made a whine like sound as Mist left. Now she would dart over to Winnie. Wagging her tail rapidly the sunset toned pup waved a paw at Winnie's tail.

Selia nibbled on Vance's foot. Yipping as Mist left.

Winnie smiled widely down at the pups, eyes aglow with a rare, new light that she'd never really shown anyone. Amazingly, Winnie seemed like a mother. She'd always secretly longed to have a large famly, but she hadn't finished her training, nor had she found the love she was seeking yet. However, she did hold a secret affection for Vance. She swished her tail so Tiah could play, then laughed at Selia as she nibbled on Vance's foot.

Vance chuckled.
"Yeah, you'll be with the whimpering pups, all cooped up and comfy, while I bring home the rabbit!"
He smiled and pulled his foot gently, as if playing tug-a-war.
"Hey, hey, hey!" he whimpered, "That hurts!" he winked at Winnie as he covered his eyes with his other paw, as if in pain.

Winnie laughed at this. "Well, if you're hurt so terribly by your own children, I doubt we'll have anything to eat! Heck, at this rate, we'll all starve!" She teased.

[Sheera]

"What-- oh... well... you can eat some moss!" he exclaimed at her, peaking from underneath his paw. "Moss-breath!" he teased.
He nuzzled Selia gently. "Hello, dear Selia..." he murmured to her. "My name is Vance, I'm your older brother!" he smiled gently at her, his tail flicking excitedly.

[Destiny]

Selia yipped playfully and held on as Vance pulled his paw lightly away. As the brute spoke her name the pup let go and danced backward. Still standing on her hind paws she made a yipping sound. "V-v-va-van-s-se" The little she pup hadn't spoken before now, except for in yips and whimpers and such.

Tiah lept away from Winnie. Then the pup began to run around in circles, chasing her tail.

Vance let out a yip of surprise as the pup spoke. His eyes stretched wide as the pup said his name. He leaped above the pup and sweeped her towards him with his paw.
He lowered his head and met her eyes, his own gleaming with excitement.
"Thats right!" he murmured in a cooeing voice. "Thats right, Selia!"

[Destiny]

Snowy tipped tail waved widly to and fro in exctiement. The pup yipped and spoke again. Her tone higher and more excited. "Va-n-cse. Va-nsce. Vancse. Van-c-e. Van-ce. Vance!" Her own optics, still blue, but flecked with green, glimmered joyfully at the brute.

Winnie was glowing as the young pups played and dashed gleefully around them. It had been so long since she'd seen such happiness....so long since everything had been so vibrant and full of life. They had felt so out of place, and just as they'd settled in, the sickness had crashed down and forced them to rain out the tears once more. But with the cure acting as the umbrella they'd so desperately needed, they now had room to breathe in the air. Room to think. Room to feel...to grow, to laugh, to play, for Redfang's sake, just to be! Elation fluttered around her on luminous wings, placed ever so delicately on the backs of the young'uns before her. With a lovely, musical laugh, Winnie dusted them lightly with her tail, a tease perhaps, but all in good meaning.

Vance licked Selia vigorously and murmured her own name to her with passion.
"I love you..." he murmured again and again. "I wuv you!" he murmured.
Vance nudged Selia affectionately and murmured gently.
"Do you know how much I love you, little Selia?"
