Freya padded swiftly towards the alphess den, a grim expression on her features. It seemed a shame to be plotting for war already, but if the Yozorans and Sheerans had already teamed up, they'd definitly be trying to gain favor with the Destinians over the Siverians. The Siverians had become very slim in number since the battles in the mountains. "Sabela?" She called.

"Yes, dear?" a motherlike voice came. The alphess was curled up, but now had her head raised. She pushed herself to her feet, and waited calmly. She watched as Severian came in behind Freya, and acknowledge him with a flick of her tail. "What is it, darlings?" she said in a worried voice.

"Well..." Freya started, shuffling her paws nervously. "Severian and I were talking, and we were discussing the way that the Sheerans and Yozorans seem unusually close, like in ancient times. And then we came to thinking, that if we just let this go, the new alliance will try and win over the largest pack, the Destinians. Then they'll need more territory, and then we're going to be the ones they attack and surround....so, I think we need to schedule a meeting with the Destinian high ranks. We need to know where they stand, and we need them on our side."

Sabela's heart began to race, as she thought that she had been the only one to notice. "I have noticed Mist's and Light's unusual friendship, and I had decided to wait until it is for sure they are as close as we believe. They are. I have planned to take action, but I had decided not to make the pack too frightful." she paused, lowering her voice. "I had planned to go tonight, when the moon is high."

Freya nodded, tail flicking with a mixture of anxiety and excitement. "Yes...who will you take with you?" It would be wise to leave Mystic, Annelise, and most of the warriors at the camp, but it would also be wise to take the higher ups to represent the pack in front of the Destinians. They were asking for a possible alliance, and despite the size of the Destinians, the Siverians were a force to be reckoned with, as well. This needed to be known in the other packs.

"Nightshade, Moss, Severian, and you," she said gently. "We mustn't apply that we are a threat when we go to their camp. There would be too many questions." she flicked her tail. "Severian, fetch Moss and tell her to get ready. Freya, fetch Nightshade and tell her to come to my den."

Freya nodded, glancing at Severian with a look that said: I'll tell you all about it when we get back! She ducked out of the den, then returned with Nightshade.
Nightshade, in spite of herself, smiled. "I suppose we have to do what's necessary, then. I'm behind you all the way, Sabela," she promised.

Sabela nodded, her heart warm as she felt the support from the beta. She waited until Severian had left to tell Moss, then she looked back to the two wolves. "I chose both of you, Moss, and Severian, due to the fact, that if I arrived with much more, full-grown proeliaters, then this may send a wrong vibe towards the Destinians. Bringing a neophyte may be risky, but since you, Freya, and Severian were the first of the pack to voice their concerns, then I decided that since he was so aware, he must be allowed to come as well." she glanced at them, wondering if they followed what she was saying.

Freya nodded. She was still a rather young warrior, but she would do all she could to help her pack. She snuck an excited glance at Severian, hoping Sabela didn't see it.

Sabela flicked her tail and leaped out of her den, into the open. It was quite dark outside, and very close to moonhigh, but she would wait until a little after moonhigh. "Prepare!" she said quietly to them as she raced towards the fresh kill. "Eat, and rest ;; we have little time to do so, but you look like you need some rest..." she flicked her tail to Severian, who was leaning towards Freya lazily.
"Me-- uh--no!" his ears burned in embarressment as he straightened up. "I-- er-- I'll go get ready..." he finished and began to trot off. He glanced back and looked towards Freya ;; he then offered her to come eat with him.

Freya smiled, eyes sparkling with joy that they would be able to go along. What stories they'd have to tell their denmates! And when Severian becomes a warrior, we can hang out much more often! Since he wasn't all that much younger than her, she didn't feel weirded out by her slight crush on the neophyte. After all, she'd been a neophyte, what? One, two weeks ago?
She selected from the fresh kill pile the leg of a moose, then went to eat near the resting dens with Severian.
Nightshade took a snowshoe from the pile, the sat beside Sabela while she ate. Her stomach was churning with anxiety over her meeting with Iver. How could her enemy be so...similar to her own persona? How could they truly feel the same, breathe the same air?

Severian layed down, wit a small, but plump rabbit. He cocked his head, and an expression dawned across his face. He looked at Freya and began to speak. "Did you notice that Severian sounds alot like Siverian? Woah..." he wondered why he was named this ;; for his 'mother', Sabela, had named him, maybe he would ask her later.

Freya shrugged. "Sure. It's probably mispronounced to sound exactly like it, too." She frowned, thinking of the elder she'd heard calling Severian 'Siverian' the other day. "A lot of wolves messed up Siveria's name, too," she laughed. "So that's probably where it sprout's from!"

Severian laughed. "How could they do that?! Wolves say her name everyday!" Stupid wolves....... he smiled and returned to his meal. "Plump rabbit..." he commented to himself, feeling slightly guilty, since he had only had time to catch a hungry vole today.

Freya nodded, then glanced over at Sabela, curious as to when they would leave. She'd finished her meal, and was now wiping the remnants thoroughly from her mouth. Nightshade, who had also finished, was swiftly doing the same. Nothing looked cheesier than having blood all over you mouth when you went to go do something formal.
