The elderly mother of ten gasped for air. She was passing. She was going to meet the ranks of Twilight. She was ready.... but first she wanted to see her ten children. She knew her last wishes may not be fulfilled.. but she had to try.. She would try as long as Twilight gave her to live.. which was not long...
"Rasui, Ashai, Sagira, Rehema, Jamila, Morn, Glare, Sky, Faun, Thorn...." she growled weakly as she staggered out of the elder's den and collasped. She lie there on the ground.. barely holding on.. barely breathing.. with hopes that barely came.

Ashai's ears went up, hearing his name as he sat at the mouth of the nursery. He was instantly on his paws... and running, once he saw Crescent lying on the ground. "Mother!" he yelped, racing to her side. "Mother, what's wrong?" He glanced over his shoulder, yipping frantically. "Rasui! Sagira! Rehema! Morn! Sky! Faun! Thorn! Glare! Jamila!" He raised his voice again. "Father! FATHER!"

Crescent didn't twitch a smile. How could if she didn't know if she would ever see her children? If she had an inch of energy left she would go looking for them, but instead she stayed there still on the cold ground. She hoped they all would come.. she only wished.
Morn burst into the camp at Ashai's command. Her tail straight in the air and her legs straining. She stopped three feet away then rushed forward. "Mother..." she whispered and glanced frantically at Ashai.
Glare had come only seconds later from the warrior's den. He stopped in front of her and licked her ears. He frantically glanced at Ashai.
Rasui.. of the last litter of his mother raced to the scene. He was already nearbye. He sniffed his mother then looked frantically at all his siblings.
Jamila, her eyes wide frantically raced to the scene at the tail of her brother. her silver eys were shimmering with worry. She watched her mother with worry. She was the only one not to frantically search for answer.
