The femme had grown considerably as days had gone by. She'd settled in later than most faes;; she hadn't liked leaving Sothis and the warriors den to sleep alone in the nursery. At least it was warm, secure in here. She wouldn't have to worry about the safety of their children, that was for sure. Svel was still in the nursery with her three pups, so that comforted Carolina somewhat. She was glad to have the wolf back;; the Destinians had definitly missed the angel of speed. Carolina reflected a bit on what Svel had told Aliya about Fireflight;; the red proxy had confided in her. She found it interesting, and extremely kind of Svel. After all, Svel was elder than Fireflight;; she might've expected to be proxy. Nevertheless, the pack seemed pleased with the outcome. Even after Sirius' demise, they flourished, and would continue to do so. A little gasp escaped her throat, suprise lighting her wide eyes. Pain jutted through her stomach, casting away the rest of her meaningless reflections. The pain came again, persistenly searing through her. She glanced around, desperate. "Svel! Sothis! Sedaka! Anyone!" She barked, trying to speak loudly but being cut off by the pain. "I think the pups are coming!"

Crackle. Snap. Crash. Crackle. Snap. The twigs were dry and brittle, the heat of the day and the fiery orb soaking up the last remnants of the hellish winter by hiding all the moisture it could find. The brute panted exhaustedly. Creature had been a hunting all day; three rabbits were burried closer to the camp. Now brute tracked a scent that he disliked. Fox scent. Such a creature in the territory could be potentially dangerous to the pack. As a proeliator, it was his job to protect the pack and all the wolven in it. The cry from Carolina was not heard at the moment, he was to far from the camp.
Silver splashed figure entered the Nursery swiftly. "Calm down, calm down." Svel swiped her tassel at Fyren who had approached and turned back to Carolina as her daughter moved away to curl up and return to sleeping beside Michio. Icy optics darted over Carolina's figure. She was quite large for something her size. It seemed that the pups were coming now. Svel was almost certain.
(How many?)

Breeze yawned widely, then stood, nudging her siblings. "Sleepyheads!" She grunted, irritated.
Carolina nodded, looking up at Svel. She inhaled and exhaled deeply, which calmed her considerably. The pain was vicious now, tearing away at her insides as new lives erupted into the world.
The first was a dusky grey she-wolf, laced delicately with the blue of her father. Her figure was smaller than most pups, signalling she'd be petite. Perhaps she, too, would take after the Destinian legend of speed.
The second was a silvery blue male, the spitting image of Sothis imprinted in the small pup. He was slightly larger than the first, but not by much. She nudged them close to her, then whispered their names as the pain started again; this was not over.
The girl she named, "Tatiana," And the male, she named, "Etheris."
(Okay, gender, color, names, please. As many as ya want! The Yozorans freaking have 45 wolves and they beat out the Destinians XD )

Fyren blinked an eye open. Wagging her tassle a bit she gave Michio a nudge. "Sleeping is getting sooooo boring! Let's go exploring!"
Michio grunted and swiped at Fyren and Breeze. "Go away. Let me have my sleep."The miniature Svel curled back up into a ball and returned to his sleeping.
The third pup to be birthed was a larger one. Clearly this brute would be of large, large build when fully grown. Canvas was a sooty grey with blueish socks, ear tips and tail tip. There were hues of lighter grey and ebony throughout canvas. He looked like a.... Zarcon.
Pup number four was about the same size as Etheris. The fae's pelt was one of a dusty color. Light greyish socks, alabaster, blue and ebony hues throughout canvas. This little fae looked like a Laxus.
The next pup, likely the final, was painted a blueishlight color with streaks of sterling and hues of grey. Another brute, this one looked like a Jestos.
Svel gave Carolina encouraging licks on the shoulder throughout the whole process of birthing. "You can do it, just be strong."
Sothis' optics glinted as the sight of the creature he'd been tracking came into view. A small fox pup. Sighing the brute padded over to it. The little thing was curled up a ball, asleep. Scenting the air he found that there were no other foxen anywhere near. It was alone, and the kill would be one of mercy. A creature so young would never survive on its own anyway.

Carolina sighed with relief when everything was over. She nudged her pups closer to her, murmuring their names as she did so. "Tatiana...Etheris...Zarcon...Laxus....Jestos..." Five new pups for the Destinians. She relaxed, leaning back into the nest and panting heavily. It had taken more effort and energy from her than she'd expected it to. She blinked her gratitude to Svel and closed her tired eyes, but only after making she all of her pups were well and accounted for one last time.
Breeze nodded excitedly, light eyes gleaming with mischeif. "C'mon, Mom's busy with Carolina...she won't even realize we're gone!"

Michio grunted. "Be gone."
Fyren gave her brother another swipe. Seeing that he wasn't coming she turned to Breeze. "C'mon, mom'll never even know!" Glancing in the direction of Svel the fae slunk out of the Nursery.
Zarcon gave Laxus a little nudge as he moved closer to Carolina to get some milk. Jestos pushed himself closer to Carolina. Nudging Tatiana a bit.
Sothis took the pup in his jaws, picked up his rabbits, and headed back to the camp.

Tatiana and Etheris squirmed amongst their siblings, fighting a blind battle for a comfortable position in the nest.
Breeze giggled softly and slunk out after her sister.
Carolina readjusted in the nest so her pups could fit in better. XP

Jaws released the fresh kill on top the lagre pile. Auds swiveled to catch the somewhat familier, yet unfamilier, sound of pups in the Nursery. Svel's three were past the stage of sounding like that.... Could Carolina have... Suddenly the brute turned, paws carrying him in that direction. Figure halted in front the Nursery. "May I enter?" Sothis did not want to intrude, it might not be Carolina.
Fyren slunk outside the Nursery. Freezing as she spotted Sothis at the entrance, but realizing that he was occupied at the moment she slunk along the shadows of the camp.

Breeze eagerly followed, taking care to stay silent and invisible to any who might disapprove of their adventures. She continued into the dark of the camp's outskirts, drawn more to the territories than to the actual camp.
Carolina's head snapped up as Sothis' voice came through the nursery entrance. "Sothis? Sothis, come quick!" She summoned him, joy and pride in her voice.

The reaction was immediate, for paws carrying figure through the entrance. Optics of midnight would settle themselves upon the figure of his beautiful Carolina. As brute approached, the pups would be noted. Pausing, he spoke softly. "They're so beautiful, Carolina..."
Fyren followed Breeze excitedly towards the outskirts. Figure slipping through the entrance in silence.

The returning smile Carolina gave to Sothis' words was simply radiant. "Handsome like their father," she said softly. She looked down at her pups was an imeasurable happiness. She hadn't stopped to think of her past in a long time, but now, as she laid her final demons to rest, she could breathe again. Blue Moon might've been her first love. Might've been. But pups are pups. She coudl've known it sharp and clear, or she could've been in the haze of a dream. It didn't matter anymore, because though he might've been her first, it was not Blue Moon that held her heart now. And upon her return to the Destinians, Destiny herself had become her mentor. She'd been shocked that Destiny had made it so, but had learned much from the snowy alphess previous to her demise. She'd finished the other half of her training with Euphrates. The plauge had hit her hard, perhaps the hardest of any wolf in the Destinians that actually lived through it all. She'd suffered amazing torment, but even then, her thoughts never drifted to Blue Moon. They'd stayed transfized by Sothis, and his promise. And now that she was a warrrior, older, and more knolwedgable, she knew she could finally forgive herself for running away at such a young age. She could finally forgive herself for all that had transpired in that time period. The wolf who had left the forest by the Mirror Lake was different from the wolf here. And now that Sothis was here, now that their pups were here, they were all she would ever need.
Breeze woves through the dark, tangled fronds and ferns. She looked back for Fyren, eyes sparkling with mischeif.

The brute allowed a smile to sweep across his face. Padding forward in silence Sothis slipped around behind Carolina, glancing to Svel who rose and padded away. Carefully figure was lain down beside hers. Muzzle resting on her back, tail tip gently brushing her own muzzle. The brute leaned over her for a moment, to touch each of his pups on the crown. "I love you." He said this to each in turn. Finally touching his muzzle to Carolina's. "I love you." The words were pure and true. No one could doubt how much he loved her. No one.
Fyren giggled a little and slipped out of the camp's entrance, not noticing Michio who had stuck his head out of the Nursery in curiosity to see where they were going. Not realizing what danger lay in the forest, what danger Sothis had missed in his hunting.

Carolina's tail wagged slightly as Sothis' words illuminated her heart. She rested her head in his shoulder, taking in his entrancing scent. She could truly lose herself here. They were wrong, the packs; paradise did not come after death. In started in life, then blossomed to its fullest possible capacity when spirits reached the Twilight Realm. "And I love you."
Breeze paused, attempting to sniff the air. So many scents! It was so hard to sift through them all! Most of them she didn't even recognize, let alone locate. Everything was barraging her senses at once, increasing her seemingly endless fascination with this new world around her.

Fyren's paws guided her away from the camp. And away from her sister. Little fae dashed off into the forest, tumbling and giggling as she rolled about.
Zarcon shuffled closer to Carolina, nudging Etheris with his little pup nose in the process.
Jestos and Laxus moved on either side of Tatiana. Laxus gave her sister a soft flick with her tail while Jestos began to nurse at Carolina's belly.
Sothis sighed as he watched his blood, his pups, their pups. A feeling of serenity washing over him.
Svel nudged Michio. "Where are your sisters?" The answer she got, spoken in a voice so quiet that it would be unheard by all except herself, sent the fae into a frenzy. "WHAT?!?" Svel grabbed Michio by the scruff and dropped him by Sothis and Carolina. "Watch him!" A direct order. The fae swerved and bolted out of the den. "Someone! Fyren and Breeze are gone!"
A dark figure slunk through the undergrowth. Crimson stained daggers gleaming as a ray of sunlight flashed over them. "Come here my pretties... It's time you met daddy...." The beast spoke to none other then himself, for he was to far from the camp for his daughters or any other wolf to hear him. Hopefully.

Carolina's eyes were wide as she glanced towards Svel. "Gone?!" Indeed, the pups were not in their usual hiding places within the nursery boundaries. They had snuck away during the birthing, perhaps, figuring no one would notice if they went to explore for a bit. Images of Black Fury filtered into her mind, sending horror down her spine. These were not her pups, but pups were innoccent and fargile and unable to defend themselves. They needed to be found immediately. Before the wrong wolves did the finding.
Fireflight entered the nursery, glancing towards Svel with immense concern. "How long have they been gone?" She'd heard Svel's call, and noted the absence of Breeze and Fyren. Time was a valuable thing;; She would round up some warriors to go and search for them in a moment.
Breeze gasped as she heard a dark voice curl through the woods. She whirled around in a panic, losing sight of Fyren. She dove back the way she came, eventually ending up near the camp entrace. She hid among the barrier greenery, still wide-eyed and shaking from the voice that haunted her.
