PACK MEETING *EVERYBODY HERE!*

Sirius padded out of his den nad looked around at the fairly quiet camp. The Destinians had been struck hard by the disease but things had to keep going on as usual. Neophytes needed trained and pups needed to become neophytes. Ashai, Rapier, Jamila, and Rasui's neophyte ceremonies had been somewhat forgotten in the rush of the last moon and a half. Glancing at the healer den, Sirius tried to push aside his worries for Skysong though that was a task more difficult then any other. Taking a deep breath to steady himself, Sirius called the meeting. "All wolves of the Destinian Pack gather in the camp for a pack meeting!"

Edward and Rosalie imerged. Edward waited back for Alice. His eyes were black.

Rosalie's eyes were amber. She had just taken down large prey and had quenched her thirst for blood.

Grug padded happily into camp. Although a look of worry filled his eyes. It wasn't because of the sickness, it was something else. I knew it would happen someday. I've been so blind and now the day is coming nearer...

Zuni padded into camp after his brother. He was carrying a squirrel... well half a squirrel.

Mocha walked out of the dens and sat down. She had a small coughing fit, but cleared her throat to make it stop.

Chouko skipped (kind of) merrily into the camp with a small rabbit.

Danny had been lazing around with nothing going through his head when he heard the call to a gathering of the pack. He rose his head elegantly off his paws, the handsome figure loping to the entrance of Sirius' den.
He glanced at the others there, not speaking, instead he just laid back down, he'd been lazing around before, now he was just lazing around in company.

Everest peeped out from the nursery, but almost immediately retreated back. His lids were tired and the sickness had drained him. He would ask Nyra or someone else about the meeting later.

Sirius looked around at some of the wolves gathering in the clearing, sorting out who had a neophyte and who didn't. Being new to the whole "name neophytes and mentors" thing, Sirius was hoping he could do a good job of matching personalities. Sometimes oppisates attracted but not always. "Would Ashai, Rapier, Jamila, and Rasui come forward" Sirius barked, gazing through the wolves to look for the pups whom had an overdue date with mentors.

Kunai got out of the resting den and followed Chokuo. After that he sat down where he normally sits at. VERY FAR AWAY FROM others but that is just the neophyte. His personality but still in the pack and proud of it.

Must be time to name neophytes, thought Grug. I really hope I get one. Never had one before... I wonder what it'll be like. His tail swished back and forth on the ground happily.

[Destiny]

Svel had a rather icy and tenacious presence these days. Ever since about two nights after she'd been named a lupus proeliator by Destiny. Only Destiny even knew that Svel had left the territory then. She'd been gone for at leat four or five days, maybe even a week. Of course, Destiny had been the only one close to her in this large pack. Naturally, no one had noticed her disappearence. Many things had happened during those five days. Actually, not many, but the few that had were very significant in her life. She coughed quietly to herself. The disease was not so bad in her. Nothing more then a daily cough, so far. Her enchanting empty like pools glared icily in the direction of Sirius. She looked at him no differently then anyone else. Svel hated everyone and everything. Want some proof of that statement? Destiny could easily tell any wolf that it was more then the truth.

Fireflight arrived at the meeting. The fiery fae was always cheery in spirit. Despite all of the tragedies around them, she was determined to be optimistic. After all, the forest needed some hope...some genuine smiles. She couldn't save them; she didn't know how to heal her packmates any better than the next wolf. But, she could at least attempt to loosen the tension slightly. She glanced around for Euphrates, wondering where he'd been off to.

Danny yawned, idily wondering where his little apprentice had gone. He hadn't seen the gifted little chap in a long time and was quite missing him... Even if he couldn't remember the pups name.

Fireflight searched the crowd for the friendly, orange-pelted Rusty. Rusty was a senior, perhaps the eldest in the pack, but he was always out and about, trying to do every crazy thing imaginable just to prove he was forever young. Despite his hyper-activity, and her own, Fireflight had a deep respect for the senior. He'd always been there to help her through her troubles, and Fireflight knew the day Rusty left this world would be the day the world grew a little darker...

Rusty was nowhere to be found.
Her copper eyes widened with shock, anger, and sorrow. His body laid off to the side, mangled and covered with white foam. The sickness had finally inflamed the elder untill he'd burned into oblivion. There was nothing left but a figure of patchy fur....

Tears sparked in her eyes, but she did her best to hold it together. One of her best friends was gone forever...how many more would leave her?
