The fiery, wispy-pelted she-wolf padded into the clearing slowly, observing the scene before her. "Fyrefly...my entire family is gone, and yet I still see the light. Siveria -- Winter -- is actually a vast improvement from Verlust. We will hurt, and we will bleed...but we'll make it. If anything...I'm living proof," Fireflight woofed, joining the other two.
Fireflight rarely spoke so openly about her family's recent deaths. Dream -- her sister -- had hit her the hardest. And yet...through it all, Fireflight burned strong.
Dream would want me to have a good life...and so I'm doing what she would want me to do.

" I know Fireflight but Winter...." she cut off toos sad and overtaken with grief at all the sadness and death. "she has-has cut our life short!"

"This isn't Winter's fault at all!" Fireflight sighed. "Sickness doesn't come from winter. It comes from....well...honestly, most sickness comes from somebody eating something nasty," She offered Fyrefly a slight, crooked smile. "And usually that nasty something takes a while to...er...digest. If you think of it that way, it'll all be out soon and we'll be back to normal."

"Winter has killed the prey before us sickening the wolves before us driving them to starvation!" Fyrefly barked unable to grasp the good Fireflight said "She has hurt us rather than help us ... Digest the crowfood we all ate! This isn't just something we ate Fireflight!"

Fireflight shook her head. "You're not going to find any good if you refuse to see it!" She snapped suddenly, infuriated.
It took a lot to get Fireflight mad. And when she was mad...*shivers*
Carolina quickly finished her elk and padded back into her den, ears pricked towards the two warriors.
"You can't just blame all of your problems on one wolf! You can't put the weight of the world on their shoulders because they can't bare it! Could YOU bear it? NO! As for starvation, I think you're quite wrong. Prey has been considerably plentiful this winter, and we should be thankful for it! Wolves are born and wolves die. It's just the way it is!" She growled, exasperated. "Now if you want to be such a pessimist about it, go right ahead, but don't drag others down with you!"

Was Fireflight blind?! Fyreflight asked herself Taken aback by the fea's brittle words and bit back words even worse than what she said "This winter prey was good but what about BEFORE us and AFTER us?!" She snarled drawing her lip over her fangs "What about THEM?!" She couldn't hold back. She simply did her action by accident and winced as she noticed what she had done. She had Smacked her paw against Fireflight's face her claws leaving a slight sliver of blood.

Fireflight was stock still for a moment, then turned to face Fyrefly with tears glistening in her eyes. "SO what, then?! WE should all just GIVE UP?! MY SISTER...my BEST FRIEND DIED AND I DIDN'T KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH MYSELF!" She snarled, eyes swimming with pain. "But I got up and did all of this anyway! ARE YOU STANDING HERE AND TELLING ME I SHOULD'VE JUST GIVEN UP AND LET THE WORLD TAKE ME? JUST LIE THERE BECAUSE THERE WAS NO POINT?! Then you have no heart." Fireflight flicked the blood away from her cheek and turned, planning to find a place in the woods to rest.
If only Euphrates was here....

" NO I'm saying We need to MOVE!" She snarled restrainging herself from leaping. from ripping the fur off of her friend "We need to think of Others we need to think of generations after us." her ebony fur stood up her claws scratching the hard cold stone that decorated the floor " We need to help others" she said stepping up and licking the remaining blood of of her fure flicking her tail over Fireflight's back.

"But we JUST MOVED!" Fireflight snapped. "We can't just give in at the first sign of danger!" She sighed heavily, not sure what else to say. Yes, there had been tragedy, but everyone else was throwing up their paws and running away. She felt alone....was she realy the only one who believed there would be a way out?

"We shouldn't jump to conclusions. We don't know what's going to happen yet so why assume the worst?" She heaved another heavy sigh and padded out of the camp, head down and tail hanging low. Fireflight was rarely discouraged, but now the blazing spirit had been dampened slightly.
