The heated soon-to-be healer paced over the open grounds. Her eyes were blazing as she tried to find out how much shame she felt. Her shame was like a weight in her paws and heart, making it heard to go much farther. She felt her fur spiking, fluffed out in all directions. Her eyes were glaring straight ahead, emotions in them changing from confusion, to anger, to denial, and back again. It made no sense to her. She had trained for how many moons, and suddenly the alphess's son gets to take her place. Also, now, wolves were telling her repeatedly that a healer is always calm and caring. She stopped telling them that she was fine before little ms. Silas came along and blocked the sun. She growled, anger flaring in her eyes only to release to a tear-filled emotion of denial. "What have I done wrong, Golden Wolf? Why do I have to share my honor that I've trained so long and hard for?"

Run away Run away Pearly daggers gleamed as a ray of sunlight sliced across half parted maw. Beautiful bright aquacyan shade, perhaps closer to that of a light baby blue, was painted across the sky far above. Not a single fluffy snow hued cloud hanging in the perfect sky. The air was not dry, nor was it wet and humid. It was warm and the sun shimmering against the alabaster of the figure's canvas made each little snowy hair glimmer like a diamond. Unusually long tassel of alabaster was raised high in the air, curling over itself at the tip in an odd way. Hind parts settled against the rough, hard dirt. Frontal paws, still of a small perimeter, pressed into the earth ahead of figure. Creature sat, crown tilted back, auds perked, maw half-parted. Like a statue, only noticable movement was that of chest during breathing. Then from the silence that was the brute erupted a not overly low voice as song poured from windpipe. "So why can’t you stay Just long enough to explain Won’t you wait for a day Stop, please don’t refrain"Run away Run away

The female's ears were perked, maw was parted, eyes were blazing, as the scent of a newcomer hissed through her scent glands. Her glistening ebony coat rippled as she came to a stop, staring out towards the brujo. Her eyes narrowed as they hit the form. She spit in discust and hatrid. "What are you doing here?" a growl, so sharp, so split with anger sounded. Her tail lashed with such anger, it was hard to understand herself. Why did she feel such anger towards this wolf? It was hard to understand, but she was not in any mood to like any wolf. She fought back tears as anger overcame her, she fought back the urge to hurt this wolf. She was stiff, holding her instincts in tact as she awaited an answer.

The sound grated painfully in his auds. An assault upon the auditory senses. Brute had thought that some peace had finally been obtained. Alass, it was apparent that such luck was not allowed for he. The song drifted into nothingness. Disappearing like a whisper on the wind, a melody that only he knew. As if it were something private.
Slowly, ever slowly, crown was lowered. Inch by inch until optics of pure, glittering, fierce yet perfectly calm pools of emerald stared in the direction of the fae which had spoken. Oh, it's you. Kiki. Well, this is just dandy. The thoughts ripped through his normally calm mind in a snarl. This was not even slightly detectable however. "Unless I am mistaken this is Destinian terra, and I am a Destinian wolf. What exactly I am doing here at this particular moment matters not." Silas tone was calm, emotionless.

[[*whistle* does he have a mate?? because I LOVE HIM!!]]
Her body trembled with anger, her eyes glaring at the one wolf she detested, Silas, though at the moment she would hate anyone who came into her view. Her eyes blazing, watering with tears of anger. She glared at him, her eyes remaining narrowed. She had not studied him this hard before, and she felt disgusted with herself as she saw his desirable beauty. There are plenty of desirable males out there. He's just another. she barked within herself. "Oh, I'm sorry, I couldn't detect the sweet scent of Destinians within your bitter smell," her voice was sweet, but dangerously so, the voice she always used when talking to this wolf.

{{Technically, xP, No. Silas is single, xD}}
The calm about him was almost serene. It was true that Silas had, what one might call, a gift. Never the less, that gift had yet to make itself known to the creature. As for brute's ability to keep all of his emotions hidden as if locked in a safe at the back of his mind, well, that seemed to be a family trait; Sothis had a similar, though not as powerful, ability. The strange knowledge he seemed to have of things, however, was all his own. How he had come to be this way was puzzling, but in each of Aliya's litters an odd pup, or two, had been birthed.
Alabaster tassel, which had still held itself ever so high in the stillness that was the air around him, was now moved to lye across frontal paws in one swift motion. This created a small breeze which caused the slightest ruffling of his fur. "Well," The brute paused to scent the air. "If that scent on you is sweet, then I would certainly dislike smelling something horrid." Again, emotionless. How he managed to keep the sneer, which echoed in his mind as the words were spoken, from leaking into his tone was absolutely mystifying.

[[*raises hand* dibs! One of my wolfie's *points to kiki* gets him!]] Surprisingly enough or not, she smiled. It wasn't a sarcastic, or dangerously sweet smile, but a smile, whether it seemed real or not to Silas, one could never know. She shook her head, laughing slightly. Her eyes widened to their noraml size, her eyes twinkling with humor. "Oh, Silas, how you come up with these insults I'll never know," she chuckled wholeheartedly. She was utterly dumbstruck, confused by her sudden... mood swing? She shook her head, clearing her thoughts, still looking towards the handsome male. She ripped her eyes from his form, almost failing as she wished they could linger a bit longer. She looked at her paws, keeping her eyes from his form, angered with herself.

{{Okays! *Puts a sticker on Silas' forehead that reads 'Taken By: Kiki' * XD}}
Though optics did not widen as this sight, completely foreign to he, greeted them. Was that an actual, real and true, smile on Kiki's maw? Kiki, the fae that seemed to despise him to the very essence of her being, was actually smiling at him? She has the most beautiful smile... I wish she would do that more often... Kiki looks so divine with that smile on her maw. Even as the thoughts made themselves known to his mind they were dismissed. It was as if they were nothing more then a piece of rotted, maggot infested, prey. Or perhaps, it was simply that they surprised him. It might have been that the brute had not expected such thoughts to exist in his mind. Especially not when Kiki was concerned.
At the words that she spoke maw was parted once more to allow the melody of vocals to flow from his windpipe. "How you have managed to smile I'll never know." Perhaps the slightest bit of humor leaked into the tone now, released from its place in his mind for her benefit. Clearly Silas did not wish for her to take those words the incorrect way.

[[Yay! *places sticker with a picture of Silas on Kiki's forehead* ^^]]
Kiki tried to straighten her mind out. Recently, her moods had been switching from denial, to anger, to confusion, but happiness? No. Now she had switched back to the ever-so-common confusion, as she tried to understand what had just happened. Maybe she was mentally ill or maybe she took on the characteristics of a damsel in distress. Suddenly, a new emotion smacked across her mind. She put her paw to her nose, and took in a breath. I don't smell that bad.. do I? In the presence of this wolf, she felt... self-conscious. Her paw lowered and she looked up to the wolf. "Did I? Maybe you saw me wrong..." she said quickly trying to cover it up, her ears burning. "Maybe you should let Sedaka take a look at your eyes.. it's allergy season... you may have..." her voice trailed off, until she was completely silent. "It was a mistake. Sorry."

There was something that was not right. Something out of place, different. Not about Kiki, or himself. It was the forest around them. Likely she would not notice this, for there was nothing unusual about it really. The familiar chirping of crows, blue jays and other birds nearby. Slightest whistle as the little breeze slipped between the branches and lush green leaves of the trees. Normal feel of warmth as the rays glimmered against his canvas. Nothing unusual, nothing unusual. Yet...
Crown was, ever so slowly and carefully tilted back. "If I am not mistaken I was in the middle of a song. Now, I shall continue my humble little tune, if you wish not to hear it then feel free to be off. Though I will not object if you wish to remain." Optics fell once again upon the figure that was Kiki. The words that had earlier come from her maw barely acknowledged. As if he knew better then to believe the lies that she was spilling to cover up the fact that she had actually smiled in his presence.
Though they never left her figure, the creature that lurked in the undergrowth nearby could be seen from the corner of the emerald pools. A flash of fur, though only actually spotted once, gave away the fact that another was present. There was no sound from this thing. The wind, blowing in the wrong direction, did not carry to the wolf this being's scent. It could be a Destinian, but instinct told him that this was not so. Never the less Silas refused to frighten Kiki with the news that there was something lurking in the forest near her.

Kiki wanted to stay, she really did, but this would give away her.. yearning to be in this brute's presense. She shook her head and gave a sigh. Her ebony tassle waved and she hid the smile that almost dawned across her face. "Oh how I wish, but I have herb collecting to do, maybe I'll hunt as well." She turned away from the brute. She was now facing the forest in which the creature lurked. "Goodbye, Silas." she called to him, then began to bound into the forest ahead.

The glimmer of a long, scarlet stained claw was registered. The shimmer of light upon a fang as the creature's upper lip was curled to reveal incisors and canines. Beast was only that of medium size. Canvas was of a dirty brown and grey with crimson splatters where blood had stained it. Claws despicably long and curled, stained scarlet as were currently rather dull fangs. Muscular, yet not as strong as beast looked. A wound 'pon left hind leg, old but not yet fully healed, caused limping. This slowed the creature down considerably; the reason that he did not lurch from the brush immediately as Kiki approached.
All of this was sighted, though not really sighted. An image, a memory, in Silas mind that only half seemed his own. A flicker that was gone so swiftly that brute likely shouldn't have had the time to get a good look. Yet it seemed to last there, in his mind's eye, for a painstaking eternity. "Oh dear me, is that blood I see on your back? Hold on and let me have a look."Emotionless, but with an edge to it. Difficult to notice unless you were well used to Silas and likely, hopefully, Kiki was not. Paws guided figure that had been posed like a statue for so long in the direction of Kiki swiftly. Optics glancing over her crown once to catch the glimmer of fur as a ray of sunlight washed across it for a split second.

Kiki was usually one to roll her eyes and keep going, especially with Silas, but to be in his presence for maybe only two more moments was something she could not let pass. But she would hide it all too well. "I'm sure its nothing." she said in her dangerously sweet voice, though it was false it sounded jsut as the others did. She had not stopped yet, but she soon began to shifted her paws and turn towards him, but something caught her eye. Her head whipped towards the blood-stained creature eyes sharp. She dropped to a crouch, fur bristling, maw showing ivory daggers. A growl sounded dangerously from her lip.
[you should let this fabulous wolf hurt her ^^]

Tongue of a soft yet rough texture had been only inches from the pretend wound upon the back of Kiki when optics registered the bristling of fae's pelt. Slowly, carefully, crown was turned. Optics turning to attempt a glimpse at what she was looking at. Even as the growl sounded from her maw, even before, he knew that it was the creature. The thing that was lurking in the forest. The beast that he was trying to keep her away from. Tassel that had dropped itself instinctively to half mast slowly sliced through the still air until it was held higher then before. An alabaster banner like part of a statue behind and above him. Auds swiveled and perked forwards in order to catch even the slightest of sounds. Sharp optics never leaving the glimpse of fur, or the shimmer of a fang or claw. Whatever could be seen was watched intently.
The despicable creature that lurked in the shadows and protection of the undergrowth was not startled by the fact that he had been seen. The growl was not frightening though the lack of reaction from the brute was surprising. The alabaster brute didn't even seem hostile, very odd. Perhaps he was a spy on the inside? But no, Black Fury had no need for such dishonorable things as spies. Simply an idiot, that was what this white brute was. Suddenly the beast doubled back into the shadows. Figure fully hidden by the branches and lush foliage. Then there was a twisted snarling ripping from its windpipe and outstretched freakishly long claws aimed straight for Kiki. Fangs bared as if to snap her neck in half, but were aimed so that they would chomp down on nothing more then the air just above her crown.

Fae hadn't expected the wolf to attack. She saw the flash of moment, reacting as though she was a pup: she skittered backwards into the brute, Silas, who stood behind her, pulling up dirt and brush as she did so. She growled defensively, her eyes locked on the wolf. "Who are you?" she demanded fiercely. Oh, I don't need anymore brutes in my life. she gasped within. Her tassle slashed, potentially whipping Silas. Why are you here? she asked, inwardly as if asking herself.
[Can you detect my low muse?? ^^]
