Rhain laughed again. "I'd steal her and raise her as my own! If I didn't, she'd grow up thinking she was a male!" Rhain stated. "Hm. I'd name her, too. I don't want anymore violent names in this place!" She smiled.

Lupus paused, in thought for a moment. "I don't know what I'd name a child, really... Death and Flame were named for me..." He glanced at Rhain. "What would you name your children, if you had a daughter and a son?"

Rhain smiled widely. "I don't think you want to know, Lupus. My bloodline is notorious for lost names. They'd definitly be rather out there...." Her smiled didn't cease and she thought of the names her family had used in the past. "The girl would be Nevenah....the boy would be Xavrien..." she murmered. not aware that Lupus might've heard.

Lupus heard the names, and sighed softly. "Unique names that no one else would think of," he murmured. "Your family is... strange." His gaze brightened. "Although-- looking at my family history-- I shouldn't be talking," he chuckled.

Rhain smiled and nodded. "Liv's expecting pups of Ralph....I'm worried for her. She's a little young to be a mother, and didn't he just become a warrior?" She sighed. "What's with all the drama down there, anyway?"

Lupus split his jaws in a yawn. "Drama is there because chivalry is dying at its feet..." he muttered. "How pregnant is she?"

"Hm. She'll be having them in a few weeks. What is with all my kin and having pups so young!? You know what....I blame it on the males!" She laughed.

Lupus smirked. "And here I am, around a hundred years old and with two children that are only faintly related to me." He laughed again. "No wonder they say that opposites attract...."

"Well if they didn't, I wouldn't be here right now!" She grinned, referring to the constant quarreling and making-up of Wind and Sky.

"And don't think I'm not grateful," Lupus murmured, licking Rhain's ear. At the mention of Sky and Wind, he switched from happy to amused. "Though I do have a funny way of showing gratitude, now, don't I?" he muttered.

"Hmm..." Rhain yawned widely in agreement. "Don't feel too bad about it. Sky would've died from the effort it took to give birth. Instead, she died in battle. She died with dignity. And Wind...he would've been miserable without her. It was for the best."

Lupus looked down at the butterfly as its wings flapped. "Oh joy, more proof that opposites attract." He narrowed his eyes at the butterfly. "Shoo."  |

The butterfly did the most creepy, morbid, and freakish think possible. It grew twenty-five sizes right then and there. It bit Lupus, then shrunk back to its original form =p
