Mist was quite a sight when she emerged from her den. Her glossy, shimmering pelt was shedding at an alarming rate and looked more like a wet rag than anything else. Her eyes with wiry with red lines and extremely bloodshot. She moved with an agonizing slowness. She was such a wrecked spirit that those who had stoppsed to gawk were forced to look away, for they couldn't believe what had become of their dear alphess.
I betrayed you, Forest. I don't deserve for you to come back. I don't deserve any love you still have for me. I don't deserve even for you to glance upon me ever. I don't deserve someone like you. I deserve only to rot in Hellfire, for my crime, my treachery. I almost brought war upon this place, all for a wolf I never loved, all for a stinking rat I tried to replace you with. But I never loved him, no. And I will never love again. I am nothing but a traitor.
She moved towards the rock with great slowness, but eventually she sat upon it, letting out a broken, cracked howl for her pack to gather.
Meg bounded from the neophyte den, excited that today was the day she would finally have a mentor. I can't wait to really start training! There's so much I need to learn! But when she smiled up at Mist, her happiness was wiped away. She shuddered involuntarily in the alpha's cold, stone gaze.
Winnie and Rye came from the warriors den, each avoiding Mist's eyes.
Owen did not appear.

Selia and Tiah, their beautiful pelts of sunset, and white, and a mix shimmering with health, emerged from the Nursery. Both pups gazed up at their mother with soft eyes, for they knew not that their real parents were loners, one a pup killer and the other a treacherous wolf. They felt pity for her, but did not avert their eyes.
Pyre and Zethro, who always seemed to be together, slipped from the proeliators den. The twosome sat near Mist. Pyre, averting his gaze, Zethro gazing right at her, but not looking her in the eyes.

Lilly Pad only looked down when she entered. She didn't want to talk to anyone really and right now the healer's neophyte just layyed down like a spinx still looking down. Couldn't believe her anger got to her during a Moonless Meeting where everyone was there. It was disappointing.

"Selia and Tiah, it is time you've become neophytes and learned the ways of the lupus proeliators, wolven warriors. Tiah, you will be mentored by Rye, a warrior who has spirit and is well-thought. Selia, you will be mentored by Fang, a warrior who posseses great strength." Mist spoke, her voice ragged and painful to listen to. "I am going for a walk now," she muttered, stepping down from the stone and leaving before she even watched the warriors but heads with their neophyte. Her sickly form faded from site, down the slopes and towards the Sheeran terras.
Rye frowned as Mist faded, but put on a smile as he padded forward to butt heads with Tiah.

Fang got out of the warrior's den knowing that he heard his name being called. He walked to his brother Rye who head butted a little neophyte. "Am I in trouble?" He asked him and watched Mist walked off.

Rye shook his head. "You have a neophyte," he told him, nodding towards Selia. He gazed worriedly after Mist. I wonder how long we can go on like this....how long she can go on like this. We're recovering from the famine, sure, but some wounds we won't recover from...

Fang looked at his neophtye. He couldn't believe it, Mist had chosen him to mentor a neophyte. OK then. He walked toward Selia and heat butted the neophyte.
((OOC: Is Selia a boy or a girl?? xD I just need to know cause I have no clue yet.))

Lirenia appered, her own silver pelt was glossy and thickening. Her green eyes bright and hopeful and she took lengthy strides forward. She looked up to see Mist and nodded to Lily Pad, Fang, Rye, and Winter. Mythic had been missing for moons now, not even the proxy expected her to be alive. She took a step toward the white warrior called Winter and whispered, "Do you miss them?" by them she of coarse meant the wolf's sister, brother mother, and father who had all died recently.

Winter turned to Lirenia, the question taking her off gaurd. Well, she supposed someone was bound to ask her, what with her and Lilly Pad fighting all the time. She looked at Lirenia for a long time before nodded. "Mythic blamed me for everything...and all Rye and I tried to do was help her. Father died like he would've wanted, I suppose, fighting for his pack...but he went too soon. And then mother with her depression....and Lilly Pad getting all hysterical. I think Fang and Rye were the least....I don't know. They were just as affected, but they were lucky enough to get out of the drama." She sighed heavily.

Lirenia touched Winter's head with the tip of her muzzle, "It's okay, I'm sure you will get through this too. The famine has made everybody edgy, you and your sister and your brothers will make it through this." she woofed gently. She then turned and walked toward the High Rock to sit by it as any proxy or beta would.

Winter nodded thankfully to the femme and turned to find Camryn, her neophyte.
Rye looked around for Anelie.
Meg padded out of the camp, heading for the terras so she could train with her mentor, Reason.

Tiah approached her new mentor. A shy smile upon her face. She was the shyer, calmer, of the two sisters.
Selia, the more adventurous, mischievous one, approached Fang with a delighted grin on her face. "Hiya." She didn't know this wolf, but if her mother had chosen him, he must be a good being.

Rye smiled kindly at Tiah. "Do you want to meet the other neophytes first, and start training in the morning, or start now and meet your denmates later?" He asked her. He was open to anything tonight; he wasn't going anywhere, anyway.

"Umm..." Tiah glanced around. Quickly her shyness won the battle for her. "Can we train first?" Even if she was shy, there was one thing she wanted to do. Tiah wanted to be the best warrior she could for her pack.

Rye nodded, then lead the way out of the camp. We can start with basic hunting skills, he decided. That would probably be best. The herb meadows are good for that, too.
