She looked up from the woods, carrying with her Mist's bodys and pushing Owen's with her paws for she could not lift them both. She laid the bodies in the clearing and looked to the high rock. Was it right for her to take the position? Of coarse, Seidei went missing, so she was Alphess of her pack now. Lirenia looked up and walked toward the rock tentitively, she had been chosen by Mist to lead the pack, she hadn't just been chosen because there wasn't anybody else, she was thought to be the makings of a good Alphess.
She lept upon the High Rock and licked her fur quickly to not look like a ragged mess. Her blue eyes sparkling with nerves, and excitment. She let out a howl into the sky and waited for her pack. I'm alphess. I'm really the alphess. She thought to herself. She stood tall though, her silvery fur clean up and unmarked from the blood from the bodies she had retrieved. She quickly closed her eyes and prayed for Mist: My noble alphess, may you forever rest in the Twilight Realm in peace. Then she blinked her eyes open and called to her pack, "All Sheerans please assemble for a pack meeting," she knew it wasn't quiet right, but she was just getting the swing of things. She had never been beta, so she never learned hown to be the alphess.

Zethro's ears perked up, the howl had stirred the brute from his sleeping. Yawning a little he rose, and stretched his figure. I wonder why Mist's calling another pack meeting so soon... The brute's tail lashed, and his eyes opened wide as he recognized the voice. Lirenia? Why is she addressing the pack? She's only a Proxy! The brute padded from the den, glancing swiftly around camp. He froze as his eyes locked onto the bodies of Mist and Owen. ...Dead... The brute gave himself a little shake, and padded towards the high rock. Gaze was turned to Lirenia, and he waited.
Selia appeared from the neophytes den. A confused expression on features, until she saw the bodies. "....mommy...?" Carefully she padded forward, towards the body of Mist. "...mom?" Gently the spunky, brave little fae nudged her mother's muzzle. "...mommy...wake up..." She knew Mist was dead, but she didn't want to believe it. "Don't go...yet..."

A scream shattered the silence, the femme stood stock still, small, petite form shaking violently. "DAD!!" She shrieked, suddenly unfrozen. Terralisa was the tough one in the litter. The one who never cried for Momma in the middle of the night, when she was not there, when she'd left Papa for some spirit trail that neither she nor any of her remaining siblings would find. First Kiba, then Roiben and Aeryn, and now Delaney and Blaithin. There were three of them left, no, wait, there were supposed to be four. Daddy wake up...it's not time for you to go yet, Daddy! I still need you! I still need you, Daddy! And the tears she had never ever shed ran down her face like crystal waterfalls. Terra laid in a heap, tucked udner her father's cold, bloodied paw. "N-No....I still love you, Daddy. I know Mommy's gone, but what about me, I'm still here, I still love you, come back, please, I need you!"
Winter and Rye bowed their heads, too shocked, to devastated to speak anything, let alone words of comfort.

Selia had never cried before, not like she was doing now. The crystal droplets slithered along her muzzle only to drop one by one onto her mother's pelt. "Mommy." The little wolf buried herself in Mist's side, face in her mother's fur. "I love you mommy, don't go yet." A quiet whimpering came from the small sunset and snowy fae.
Pyre padded into the camp, a rabbit dangling from his mouth. Brute froze when he spotted the bodies. Eyes widened, and he didn't move for a moment. Then, regaining his composure, the wolf dropped his kill on the fresh kill pile, and padded slowly over to sit next to Zethro.

Meg dipped her head in sorrow. Mist had been her adoptive mother, as well as the mother to many. And not just to her children, her adoptive children, and her family. To her extended family, the pack. She'd fought fiercely for them for as long as Meg had known her, and she'd heard the stories the seniors told, of Mist and Azari sneaking into Blood Mist territory, risking their lives to spy just so they could prevent a plan for an attack on what had been White Mist. Mist had been one of a kind. But her wisdom lasted on now;; as was the reason Lirenia was standing to lead them. She looked shocked, mournful for the alphess, most mainly suprised, a bit uncertain, but definitly determined. She will make a good leader. Mist knew this.

Lirenia looked out to her pack, "Sheerans, our alphess Mist, and her son Owen, have both been killed. The perpetrator can't be identified, but we shall mourn their souls and bury them in the morning," she barked, her blue eyes sad as she had to deliver more bad news. "Also, my packmates, our betess, Seidei, has gone missing." She closed her eyes and took a deep breath. "I am your new alphess, and tomorrow night, I shall travel to the Eternal Tree and recieve my lives," she barked.,
Oh no, I have to appoint a beta and proxy. What if I can't do this? How will I know? Oh Mist, why couldn't you have stayed long enough to help me? I'm so lost, I don't think I can do it.
These thoughts twisted in her mind, she looked to her pack now, she was still grasping the concept of her pack. She looked at her wolves, would they object if she made a new priolater her proxy? She looked around a little more and noted the other wolves. She would decide after visting to tree.

The grayish brown fur on Pyre's shoulders rose. "I don't like it, Zethro. I don't like it one bit." His tone was a low growl, and wouldn't carry past Zethro's ears.
The white brute gave his friend a little shove. "Twilight have done this for a reason, Lirenia is our alphess now. That is the way it is." His tone wasn't as low as his friends. Not as careful.

Fang walked next to his neophyte and then bow to the body of Mist. There was nothing else to do now. Lineria is the new alpha and now there'll be a beta and a proxy. He turned around and looked at his sister who was behind him.
Lilly Paw just sat there not knowing what to do now.
