Long Awaited (CEREMONIES)

Light lept onto the ShadowRock silently. He howled to the sky. Time for a meeting that Mud's been putting off for ages.

Olive was the first to emerge from the dens, hearing the call for the meeting she'd been waiting for. How long had it been? It seemed like another lifetime that she'd been a pup, playing in the nursery with her siblings and her parents....like it had happened to another wolf alltogether.
Now she was older....she was about to become a neophyte, and she felt the happiness well up inside of her. She'd come so far...in such a short time. She knew many doubted her stability, but inside, she knew it was time to move onward. There was a whole world waiting for her out there. And she was ready to face it.

Saskia and Crow filed out of the resting dens, having been cleaning for the past hour. They smiled warmly at Olive, happy she was finally becoming a neophyte with them.

[mudfang]

Light smiled at the neophytes. At least they weren't making a big deal of it anymore. "I called you all here today because there are some things that need to be addressed. I have put it off for awhile, but I think it's been put off long enough. Olive, step foreward."

[Sivoncé™]

^{Olive stepped forward slowly, shining eyes overflowing with joy. Finally...I'll be a normal wolf again.... She resisted the urge to jump up with glee, and waited solemnly for Light to announce her mentor.}

Light smiled at Olive warmly. "Olive, you have overdone yourself with this latest scheme, but we all thank you for bringing two of our neophytes back. You deserve to become a neophyte. Aslyan (I think XD) you will mentor Olive. I believe you will be able to teach her the ways of the forest wondefully."

Aslyan's lion like pelt appered. He padded forward, "Hello Olive," he woofed gently. His tongue grazing over her forhead.

^{Olive grinned widely, finally letting loose some of her excitement. She stepped foward and butted head lightly with her new mentor, as was written in wolven tradition. She happily bounced over to Crow and Saskia, elated to finally be an equal to her friends and siblings. Wow....so this is what it feels like to not be a pup anymore.... After a moment's hesitation, she murmured, "I like it..." to herself.}

Light smiled. "Now, every pup in the nursary step up. Time to become neophytes."

[Sheera]

A red bundle of joy hopped forward, her pelt clean, but a little damp at that, after being vigorously 'slobbered on,' as she called it, by her mother. Her eyes were a brilliant silver, and, as if they weren't extraordinary enough, they had an amazing burst of happiness as her paws flung her forward.
"I'm ready!" Erika giggled at Light, and cast a nervous glance at her reassuring mother.

Greta was nudging the other two pups, in which Sheera does not RP, and finishing their grooming. She looked as though she was going to burst with pride as she saw her silver-orbed daughter prance up to Light.

Dark green optics reflected the
sorrow of the death of Death
as a white wolf stepped from
the edge of the camp and
trotted slowly, and somberly to Light.
A ring of black had rung around
his tail, about an inch thick. His
right ear also showed signs of blackening fur.
His head was lowered ever so slightly,
and he took the time to higher it
and gaze somberly up at his alpha.

Light looked proudly at the future of his pack, tail twitching with slight amusement at Erika.

Lenius ducked away from his mother's tongue and padded slowly toward his sister, tail wagging.

Light nodded. "Erika, you are ready to become a neophyte. Xeria, you will mentor this fine pup. I hope you will teach her to the bet of your abilities."

"Lenius, you are also of neophyte age. Bain will be your mentor. I hope he will teach you to the best of his abilities."

"Lionus, your mentor will be Isabella. I believe she will be a fine mentor to you."

"And Kuno, you will also become a neophyte today. Lily will be your mentor. I hope she'll be a good one."

OCC: Isabella? Like--- Isabella Marie Swan? Shit. She didn't train to be a warrior... she doesn't even know how to hunt or fight... eep--- I know! Edward will teach her! Oh-- and shes still waiting for the reenactment of the day at the movie thing... so shes not exactly here... *Cough*

OOC: Too bad. All my warriors have like... died. So... she'll have to be a fast learner! XD

Light flicked his tail. "I'm so terribly sorry for the rushed ceremonies. I have to do something soon and I wish to not be late. Now for the new warriors."

"Flute, you have trained long and hard, and have proved yourself many times over. Flute, you are now a full lupus proeliator, wolven warrior, of Yozoran Pack."

Loinus bounded down and searched for her. His little golden tail wagged. He butted head's with his missing mentor and ran over to her siblings.

[Sheera]

OCC: How could he head but someone not here? :S

"Pernille, you have trained long and hard, and have proved yourself many times over. Pernille, you are now a full lupus proeliator, wolven warrior, of Yozoran Pack."

"Shadow, you have trained long and hard, and have proved yourself many times over. Shadow, you are now a full lupus proeliator, wolven warrior, of Yozoran Pack."

"Shade, you have trained long and hard, and have proved yourself many times over. Shade, you are now a full lupus proeliator, wolven warrior, of Yozoran Pack."

"Sora, you have trained long and hard, and have proved yourself many times over. Sora, you are now a full lupus proeliator, wolven warrior, of Yozoran Pack."

Light gasped for air. "DEAR LORD HOW MANY CEREMONIES ARE THERE!?"
