Annanti snickered a bit and shook her head. "They don't welcome rouges, and typically not loners, either. Not unless they're completely alone and make themselves more vulnerable than whoever finds them." She shrugged. Packs did welcome some wanderers into their ranks, but it wasn't an extremely frequent practice.

She smiled. "I wouldn't want to be in a pack if it was to save my life." She glanced back at Athame to make sure he hadn't left. She smiled at him, and looked back to Annanti. "So, Guerrier, his name is? Killer of the past, he mustn't have been that much of a killer, his name is unknown to me." she murmured, half to herself. She chuckled, happily and waited to see if Annanti would say something about her mate.

Annanti smiled a small smile. "No, he wasn't much of a killer, really. Maybe the description 'vicious roamer' would've been more apt," she explained. "Whatever the case is...we're both a small bit tamer now," she snickered at her last phrase. "Well, as 'tame' as wolves like us can get. So....anyway, I suppose if you needed a shelter, I could give you one. As for this other wolf, I could shelter him, too," she turned towards Athame, expression unreadable. "But, like I said before, it's not just a shelter. It's more of a way of living. I'd have to trust you both to not betray the locations we'll be using or the tricks you'll pick up," she looked from Athame to Ida, still a bit uncertain.

Ida chuckled at Annanti's comment about her and her mate. She listened as she spoke of shelter, and a twinge of an unknown emotion flickered. What it the feeling of shelter? No-- its was the feeling of cowering, of being a coward. She flicked it away with a twitch of her tail, and smiled kindly. "I don't know if Athame will accept that-- maybe he will. I really wonder how he's been getting along if Black Fury's after 'em. Maybe Black Fury has so many wolves in his gang he doesn't notice?"

Annanti shook her head, grinning brightly. "Actually, I snuck a peek at Black Fury's little hideout not long ago. It looked like the pack wolves were banding together and attacking. They weren't doing so good, from the little bit I saw. Who knows? Maybe they'll realize they;re outnumbered and it'll all be over soon. Whether it is soon or not, I don't think they'll be able to stick around if the pack wolves keep sticking together like that. Black Fury might be vicious, but many loners underestimate the extreme practice that pack wolves have. They think they're softer than they are, I guess."

Ida smiled, nodded. "I almost ran through that area, but its hard not to notice the Sheerans tearing through his Gang's fur!" she chuckled, remembering the packwolves outnumbering the miniscule-compared numbers of Black Fury's. Only when he threw in his elite army did they back up. "I think someone needs to kill him before anything gets done..." she suggested. "I doubt he'll stop unless it kills him. He's a strong wolf... I've met with him many times, sometimes stealing the victims he's planning to kill and using them as Mephisto's victims... not something I'm proud of... but its just proof that its not impossible to have a rescue mission."
She shrugged, thinking of the many he has slaughter who she could've saved so fluidly.

Annanti raised a brow. "Er...it wasn't just the Sheerans. I'm pretty sure the Sheerans arrived last, actually," she mused aloud, a bit weirded out by Ida's mention of only the Sheeran Pack. "Anyway, yes, I think Black Fury is the only thing really holding them together. He's too much of a coward, of course, to just come out and fight himself. He has to send his little, clueless guards in first. Well, the packs are large enough to deal with them, I think. They'll be weakened if they break through to Black Fury, sure, but I think there's enough of them that they'll be able to take him. It's really only a matter of time, I think," she woofed.
