"Wow," she murmured, her blue eyes trying to take in the lights that broke like a rainbow was put in every last stone in the cavern. Her silver fur even looked like it was blue, pink, green, and red all at the same time. She stood, breathless as the lights made her feel like she had the wind knocked out of her. She stopped in the caverns, nobody could pass through them without needing to stare in awe at the crystals that danced along the walls. It was dark outside, but it didn't stop the gems from glittering.

A wolf was resting by the water's edge, the pool seeming to glow and impossible, paradise shade of blue. All was dark in the deep cave inside of the Crystal Caverns, all except for the luminous gems, diamonds, and the mystic pool in front of him. His darkness was barely visible, his outline only seen because of the rainbow shimmer the sacred stones had shed upon his black, midnight pelt. He stared intently at the water, as if watching for something. He might've even been asleep had his gray eyes not been open. His ears twitched as he heard pawsteps echo around the cave. He looked up to see Lirenia, the new alphess, not far. He did not rise to his paws, as he had meant to seek counsel here, a counsel that he had, regretably, not received. He felts the tongues of doubt singe his insides, and gave himself a rough shake. Of course it would work! It had always worked, always! He'd heard the legends, tales, fantasies all from healers, warriors, alphas, and seniors alike. He knew his packmates would not fiercely believe in the powers of this cavern if there wasn't an ounce of truth to its power. He had come here in hopes of shedding light on the future of his sister, Natalia, and his own future. They had a tragic past, one they would never escape, but they were true, pure warriors of the Sheeran pack, as they were born to be. They were compassionate, reasonable, fair, loyal, everything a warrior should be. However, Solaris knew that he and Nata both were also stubborn, not likely to back down, and most of all, they were cowards. They hid behind the 'tough love' facade constantly, never even peaking out. They might be loving towards their packmates, but their packamtes never knew how they really, deeply felt, or when they were hurting, or what they were thinking. But Solaris was certain they could not keep on like this for much longer. Nata adored pups, Solaris adored pups. The both needed to find lives. And to do that, Solaris knew they both would have to open up to other wolves. Not just to each other. So, Solaris had gone to seek adive, to seek some calming medicine before he gave his life a try. Before he took what was such a risk to his eyes. And the walls, the rocks, the pool. the stars above -- they were silent as ever. All he could hear now was the pawsteps of Lirenia. Perhaps his alphess could help him? He'd heard the powers of the cave worked in mysterious ways.... "Hello. Lirenia," he dipped his head respectfully, raising only his head from the level of the water. "What brings you here?"

She was caught off gaurd with the voice of another. She had been drawn, her entire focus lost as she stared into the stones. She turned her head, her whole body flinched, and she looked over to see one of her wolves. She had always been a loner-type wolf, but she got along in the pack reletivly well, but she never wanted to be leader really. Yeah, it would have been convenient at times, and maybe intresting, but it was so much, and she had to decide on who would be her beta. She had her proxy, Rye couldn't disagree, no wolf would, but who else could she trust with the position of her second in command? She looked over to Solaris, "I just needed to come for some sanctuary," she murmured, her blue eyes clouded as she was deep in thought. She was too deep in though and was without her senses as she approched the pool. She sat and lapped up one sip of the water, she felt calmer, like something soothed her nerves with being there, then she felt a thought pop into her head, not something she subconsously thought of, but something the stars wished her to translate for them, but she still had to understand it herself. To her it sounded of a thousand voices all calling out to her at the same time, each asking for her opinion, and she couldn't decipher what one of them was talking about. "Solaris, why do you wait by the pool? Following old legends?" she murmured, still too deep in thought to look at him. Her newly clouded blue eyes staring down into the mystic pool, stars and gems refracting and relfecting off of it.

Solaris regarded Lirenia thoughtfully, a bit surprised himself with her reaction. He supposed it was easy to be trapped in the beauty of the crystals here, as was the reason most wolves came here. This was not a place to run to everytime life got you down. In fact, once, maybe twice in a lifetime was all that wolves really drank the water for its refuge. Some never even came to this cavern at all. However, the crystal-lined cave the pool resided in was enough to give calming effects. Sometimes that could be enough to soothe a wolf into making the right decision. Of course, alpha's had a lot to think about, so it was natural that Lirenia had come here. However, Solaris was also sure she hadn't thought to come here at first. Really, the majority never did seek such santuary in these sparkling tunnels. But Lirenia was alphess under rare circumstances. Not that this hadn't happened before; Night of the Yozorans had only been proxy before alphess, and Sabela hadn't even been proxy! But just because it had already been done didn't mean it was any less baffling and probably even frightening. Lirenia had a lot to think about. "Ah, I suppose it's kind of.....strange for you?" He asked, no really sure how to word his question. "Proxy to alphess is a big jump, though you have at least the proxy experience under your belt. Is life much different?" He didn't know how else to ask what he wished explained without being too nosy or rude. He was plainly curious how hard such changes were. Of course, it was hard enough to go from beta to alpha, he'd heard. This must be beyong difficult for her!
