Wretched little bitch slunk along, creamy hued pelt covering belly brushed fresh stalks of lush green grass that pricked the pads of delicate looking paws yet did not cause much pain, only a slight hint, like a pinch. Optics of startling yellowish shade glimmered as stray beam of sunlight crossed them for a moment. What was that look? The aura about fae was dangerous. The scent Destinian, and loner. Why a mix? Hard to tell. Perhaps fae was traveling about lately, not paying as much attention to the pack life. Or maybe she'd just spent a lot of time in the loner lands lately, for some unknown reason. No matter, at any rate.
Paws launched figure from the earth, and upward went creamy, golden colored, innocent looking wolf. Claws caught bark and pulled bodice upward, hind legs provided the power needed for the next jump, and then the next. Eventually Vetra Vaticana would find herself high up, sitting casually on a tree branch, and looking down.
Time to test out my new... gift...
Focusing all her attention on that dark mass in her mind that seemed to evaporate now, as it had upon receiving this gift from Snare. She could see through, see it. Summoning up her new abilities, Vetra would attempt to make the air around her appear to be branches and leaves. Perhaps trying to conceal her figure? Being inside this illusion of her's, it was hard to tell whether or not her attempt was successful.
Now.. just have to wait for a nice wolf to come along, one who I can easily attempt to use this new gift to frighten.

Twig was off on a hunting expedition, maybe to please his mentor, maybe just out of boredom, habit, duty, or for fun. Or maybe because of the fact that it was hard to feed a pack in the middle of a dead forest. He continued along his path, opening his mouth and working his nose hard to try and catch some scents. Nothing. He sighed frustrated, and turned towards home. But he stopped ;; something had caught his gaze. Slowly, he turned to face the mass of brus and trees that seemed wuite unfamiliar, then slowly moved towards it. That was not there before..... It seemed completely unaffected by the smoke and fires..... "That's......weird."

As the bitch watched, a wolf, Twig, came into her view. Corners of witch's maw found themselves twitching in the upward direction. A wicked little smirk appearing upon the facial features. A young'un eh? This'll be more fun then I thought... Head was turned, and gaze searched the area around. Until it came to a large, rotting, fire burnt log. A maniacal cackle, quiet one at that, slipped from jaws. All attention found itself focused upon her choice of prey.
The log was transformed now, slowly molding into something massive and deadly. Freakishly long claws protruded from the massive, burnt looking paws. The bear seemed to snarl ferociously in the direction of Twig. Parts of it's body were gone, bones visible, entrails visible in places. Creature seemed to be rotting, and ash clung to it's seemingly singed and burned in places pelt of brown. Grizzly? Oh joy.
Vetra settled down to watch her chaos unfold.

{Remember she can't create scents or sounds -- she can make sounds herself if she wants XD. You didn't do anything wrong, I just wanted to clarify that.}
Twig paused, the shapes and colors out of his perifial vision suddenly shifting and morphing into something other than what it was before. The thing must be large, and whatever it was, it made him freeze before turning his head, very slowly, to face this new object. What the HELLFIRE is THAT?! ... Maybe if I don't move, it won't see me..... But if I stay, won't it attack? I've never seen anything like it.... It must've come out of the flames in the Twilight Clearing, like those other things did...

The large, disgusting looking 'thing' pushed off from the earth. Rotting, burned front paws seemed to swipe at the air, as if aiming for Twig but not close enough to hit him. Another growling like sound seemed to come from it, however, its jaws were not parted. And the sound didn't seem quite so bear like, but wolf like. No matter, right? Thing seemed to lumber towards Twig now. A bone, a rib in fact, suddenly fell to the ground. But it disappeared into thin air before contact with the earth.
Vetra tried, for a third time, to make some sort of sound that was like a bear's growl, or snarl. It was inconvenient that she couldn't conjur up sounds and scents, but one couldn't ask for everything.
The bear took another swipe at Twig with its oddly long claws.

Twig ducked, splinters and branches shooting at him from the depths of this harsh, demonic beast. He crouched low to the ground, slowly backing away with teeth clenches and brown body shivering. What do I do...? I can't scream -- it'll only agitate it. Can't run. It'll only lead it to the camp. Can't hide -- I'm pretty damn sure whatever it is, it will find me. Good Twilight. What did I ever do to end up in this mess? This is a death sentence. He continued to back away, still trembling, eyes darting this way and that, looking for an escape route.
And then he backed right into Vetra and stopped dead. His eyes were fearful, but also glaring at the same time, debating between forming a plan with this foeriegner or being suspicious. "What the Hellfire is that?" he whispered.

Vetra's entire figure stiffened. Slowly, head was turned until she saw that Twig had seen her. Oh. Shit. Gulping, the fae bolted. Leaping and winding through the tree tops, disappearing into the smoke perhaps. The creature began to fall apart, until it was nothing but chunks of the log on the ground once again. As if it had never existed. RUNRUNRUN A branch cracked off beneath her, and she fell a few feet, but caught herself as she continued leaping from tree branch to tree branch.

She bolted, clueing him in immediately that Vetra had not been a friend at all. She was most definitly a foe. He tensed, closing his eyes and crouching low to the ground as she fled noisily into the tree branches, not even caring to chase her. Why would it matter? The beast would surely devour him within a few moments, perhaps a painful death, if it was as vicious as it seemed. Perhaps a quick one, for it was probably ravenous and longing for meat.... But crickets only chirped on while Twig awaited his demise. Slowly, he straightened out from his crouch and peered towards the pile of logs, sniffing them carefully. They smelled just the same as they had, appeared just the same....and if he'd really wanted to do the taste test, they probably would taste the same, too. He gazed off warily into the brambles that Vetra had dissappeared into, then retreated swiftly and darted away towards the Yozoran Camp. Iver must be warned...... the Destinians had voo-doo.
(lol XD)
