The flash of fire was hardly seen, the celebration had stretched on throughout her journey back from the tree. She slowed to a trot, then to a walk, as she reached mid-clearing and headed for the ledge. The alphess did not seem to be hurt, she seemed just like she had been when she had headed into the Twilight Clearing for the Moonless Meeting. Well, other than the half-tail long scar stretching from the dock of her tail across a quarter of the length of her back. Oh, and the small limp her back left leg was proposing. The thought-to-be-lost alphess quickened her pace to a trot again, and scampered up onto the ledge, her howl strong as she called for a gathering. She sat, her twisted leg and scar were covered; her scar was facing away from the pack, and her leg was beneathe her. She waited patiently for the pack to assemble, slightly nervous of how many they had lost; she had hoped to save everyone and leave no one behind in the flames, but she was afraid that many had dyed from inhaling the ashes and smog.

The betess was beyond exhausted. She emerged from the healer den with a limp in her back left leg, weary eyes looking up in disbelief at Sabela's form. But as soon as the arrival and reappearence of the alphess sunk in, relief flooded her gaze of mystery instead. "Sabela's back!" She barked hoarsely to the other wolves. She limped over to her typical place near Sabela's ledge and waited for the words of the leader. Then, the previous night coming back to her, Nightshade scarcely managed to whisper to the red she-wolf, "We were attacked. M-Mystic and C-Corsivo are....d-dead." she looked down at her paws, trying to control her tears this time. "Babylonia was among them. Others that should be dead. And what's more, Annelise is missing. No wolf saw her make it back to the camp....Sabela, did you see her on your way back here?" Nightshade woofed, voice not even hopeful.
Arkantos and Freya joined the gathering, each looking wary, bedraggled, and ultimately deflated. Freya's coat, once bright and snowy like the mountain tops, was now a dull, dark gray. Arkantos, too, had given up on keeping his pelt soot-free. It floated thickly through the air;; what was the point of getting rid of it when it wasn't leaving, anyway?
Kaylee and Griffen were huddled close to Weed and Kippy, the two neophytes attempting to sway the two shattered hearts to a sleep they needed desperately. But how could they make up for the absence of their mother and brother? Nothing would ever come close to that...

((Did Maya ever come back? You know... Kaylee's sister!?))
Jojo smiled as the Alphess made it back but frown as Nightshade said that Mystic and Corsivo are dead, Mystic was so nice, Corsivo had so much life to live still. He Just thought that he would just lay down. The brute didn't think that he'll be asked questions but all he knows is that he fought.

Sabela's head slowly shook, her eyes intense, taking charge. This Hell had been going on long enough, it was time to fight. many wolves had gathered so she raised her head and looked up to the skies, as she had done in the cave when thanking Mira. The corners of her mouth turned into a smile; there was something on her mind. "I have been gone for a few days, it is true, I made sure all wolves were out of the clearing, howling, waiting for responses, hearing nothing. I planned to wait for many more minutes, just in case a wolf had fallen and was unable to speak, but that may not have been a good idea. The past is the past, I will not dwell, but I ask all of you to praise Mira, for I would not be enabled to trot into this camp without her help," she hadn't cleared what had happened, she only gave a hint that something had happened. She thanked Mira and Yozoran proeliaters silently. "Now, as I am informed, we have been attacked," her head was still upward, and her eyes were still closed, "by the demons of Hellfire I presume?" one eye opened looking for someone to confirm. She saw several anxious nods, and her eye closed once more. "We lost two great wolves who had long lives ahead of them, Mystic and Corsivo. We are very somber that we lost such great wolves, but they died nobly, fighting for their pack's protection, and they are to be remembered as noble, loyal wolves of the Siverian Pack. Let them rest in peace and harmony, in the stars above." She paused, letting a few moments of silence and mourning, then continued with a strong voice, "I see many of you were injured, and I am sincerely sorry that I was not here to aid you in your need. I am confident that you all fought like warriors; neophytes, proeliaters, and all." Again she paused, then continued. "There are many ceremonies that are yet to take place, so I now ask that Kar,Severian, Brigitte, Palenia, Luna, Kippy, Weed, and Nectar step forward please. You all are now ready to become proeliaters, overly ready I assure you." She waited for the neophytes to step forward.
Severian and Briggitte trotted forward their eyes dull, but a sparkle of excitement could be seen beneath the glaze. Palenia was slowly padding out from the den, when she spotted the thought-to-be-missing alphess saying her name. She bounded forward and sat in front of the others, waiting for the leader to speak again. She was going to be a proeliater. I'm going to be the best proeliater ever... then I'm going to become proxy, just like daddy.[i/] Her amber eyes glittered with tears with the somber memory of Riley, her father.

(yeah, all of the pups are back, Nightlight. Except for Corsivo cause he like died....but he was in the camp when he died, so actually yes, he was back too XD ) Weed, flanked by his best and perhaps only friend, Kippy, stepped forward to greet Sabela's words. He looked back at his father, Stigg, feeling a sadness well up in his heart. He had found a home here, in the Siverian Pack, as he had lived here his whole life. His grandfather, Soren, was part of this pack, but Stigg had been raised his entire life as a loner, by Weed's grandmother. Twilla, Weed's mother, had been a loner, too. Daughter of the late Ragweed and Crystal. His whole family was loners.... He knew his father would never truly be happy here, but how could he truly be happy anywhere? If it were any other time, Weed knew Stigg would've left, knowing his son was healhy and happy with the life chosen for him. Even without Twilla, Stigg would've had a vast improvement outside of pack life. He would've gone back to their home in Redbird Hollow....he would've felt much closer to her there. But not the forest was a mighty stranger, and Stigg must feel more enclosed than ever. Weed himself had Kippy for company, and though he'd scarcely talked to her, he had to admit that Luna and Palenia were both...refined-looking to say the least. He was a little too nervous to say anything, though, especially seeing as Kippy might get weirded out if he started liking his sister. XD Weed looked up at his alphess and mentor, and nodded once, ready for what was to come. Kippy joined the line, a little nervous, but also resigned and determined. His father had been a great wolf, his mother a fighter. He came from what could be called noble birth, but even that did not matter. It was not the bloodline that made someone. It was their own actions. He had been quiter since his father's death....but quieter because there was beauty in silence. He recalled what Sabela had said about Mira, formerly known as Silence. It's an odd thing....it can help and hurt, like anything. But there is an undeniable magnificence about it. He looked up to Sabela, also ready. Nightshade looked up to Sabela, then murmured, "I know she's not here right now, Sabela....but if Annelise is in Twilight....or if she's not....I think either way it would honor her memory if we did her full healer ceremony....just a thought." (You probably remembered and were just doing the neophyte-proeliators first, but don't forget about a new proxy )

((OK I just wanted to make sure before I post as Maya.))
Maya was really teary about the whole thing. Her mother died, and her brother died. It is going to be hard to forget them. Maybe she'll never forget about them dying. This was going to be one of her sleepless nights.

((I know Siv ^^ I think the pups we have are new so they'll stay pups for a while, I'll do their ceremony in a month or so if thats alright =] ))
Palenia prayed to her father, closing her eyes to rid herself of the painful tears. She was so young when he dyed, but she remembered that day as if she lived it repeatedly... which she did. Almost every night she would have that nightmare; that day she had heard her mother's screams and cries from the nursery and tried to wake her father up. The day she had stared into his lifeless eyes, feeling frozen and as cold as ice. But along with that nightmare, a happier dream of her leaping ontop of him, and tugging playfully on his ear would aqquaint the bad dream, as if Riley sent it to relieve her of the pain.
"Kippa, Luna, and Palenia; the kin of Riley and Dashina. You have the burning fire that always shone through Riley flaming with you. You have shown this through your training, and to your trainers. You ahve shown your loyalty, and you have shown that no matter what karma throws at us, you will always stand firm to guard your pack," she spoke her voice firm, she stood and scampered down towards the three neophytes, her limp now visible, "Palenia, with the power of Twilight flaring through my touch, I now pronounce you a full proeliater, do you accept the responsibilities and privilages of full proeliatership?" her voice was strong, and sincere. "I do." she said, her ear twitching with excitement. "Then I grant you proeliatership..." she murmured and touched her nose to the neophyte's.
"Kippy, with the power of Twilight flaming through my touch, I now pronounce you as a full proeliater of the Siverian Pack. Do you accept your responsibilities?" she now was in front of Kippy.
(After Kippy Responds she says this:)
"Luna, with the power of Twilight flashing through my touched, I now pronouce you a full proeliater of the Siverina pack, do you accept the responsibilities and privilages of being a proeliater?"

Kippy nodded, murmuring the words, then answering, "I do."
Weed looked up, pateintly waiting his turn.

((God, I'm late, I'm late, I'm laaaaaate )) Kar slowly assumed his position in front of Sabela, stepping out of the shadows and into the limelight of advancement. Yet it seemed like a trivial, almost hollow victory when compared with the fact that no less than a day ago two wolves—a devoted mother and a pup with a future ahead of him—had received a horrible death. Corsivo will never have the chance to become a Lupus Proeliator. At the thought, Kar had to struggle to keep himself from frowning. Behind everyone, Lance was staring intensely at his paws. He didn’t hear what Sabela said, nor did he think that it mattered. What was the point in listening? His mate was dead, and his son as well… What did these ceremonies matter? These ceremonies that his son would never have the chance to take part in… It isn’t fair… Corsivo should be with his siblings. And their mother should be here, too…That is when he noticed something whimpering next to him. Natoma. The indigo she-wolf had her head buried into her paws, her small form shaking in a silent weeping. Her favorite brother. Her only mother. And they had been taken away. We should’ve just stayed in the den… maybe if I had turned back, Corsivo wouldn’t have gone on…Lance nudged her gently. When she wouldn’t move, Lance picked her up by the scruff and carried her to her other siblings, placing her down beside them. As soon as her paws met the earth, Natoma turned her back on the others and wrapped her tail around her form, staring through blurred vision at the nursery den wall. Watching his heartbroken pups, Lance made a soft, barely noticeable choking sound, eyes swollen and shining with fresh tears. …God…

Sabela smiled kindly at Kippy, and waited for Luna's response.
(If Luna's response is 'I do' then Sabela says this:)
"Weed, son of Stigg and Twilla, " she was now in front of Weed, smiling kindly at her neophyte, "You have shown loyalty, bravery, and determination throughout your training; reflecting Stigg's strong mind." she smiled, dipping her head to Stigg, "with the power of Twilight dancing through my touch I now pronounce you a full Siverian Proeliater, do you accept the responsibilities and privilages of becoming a full proeliater?"

(Luna is your charrie, Sheera 0_o )
Weed nodded in acceptence of his new rank; he knew there were challenges ahead, especially after witnessing the horrors that seemed all too short of a time ago. But he also knew he wouldn't be helping his pack by staying a neophyte any longer. He was a warrior, and he would fight on as any warrior would.

(Shoot, WAY late!)
Nectar padded forward slowly, glancing all around her. It really hasn't been that long since I first came here...
She spotted Kar, who had taken her on a tour of the camp the day she had joined the pack. He said he was a senior neophyte. And I am advancing to the rank of warrior at the same time as him?
And as she slowed down to a stop in front of the alphess, only one thought remained in her mind. Am I ready for this?
A question, with no answer.

A lone black shadow hung at the back of the gathered pack, watching what was supposed to be encouragement for the pack through with cold golden eyes. He harbored no feelings towards the alphess coming back, nothing mattered to him anymore.
A thick layer of ash had stained his once beautiful black coat, turning him silver. He closed his blood shot eyes in an effort to not feel. He sat like that for a moment, feeling the sharp energy of his emotions running only skin-deep beneath his pelt. He couldn't let his feelings out, it was just hard to do.
When he finally opened his golden eyes, and after much straining, he let some warmth show. At least we would have more warriors. He suddenly thought about the pain that his younger brethren had to endure. Fresh, sharp emotion rushed to get out, making him yelp. He closed his sharp teeth over his tongue in an effort to drown out the memories. Today was not the day...
