The russet she-wolf was on the prowl once more, and once again, out of the limits Santi and Darius had drawn for her. It wasn't at all unusual for Amoret to go on one of these adventures. It was just the norm for her to be on edge, ready for a challenge, something new, whatever it was that happened to come her way. She wasn't a little pup, pretending to be a superwolf that would save the world. No, not at all. Save the world? Yeah, sure, whatever. I'd rather do something less staged and less attention-grabbing. These explorations are enough for me. And oh, she was not done exploring the Twilight Lake and its surroundings, not done at all! Her parents had explained so little to her about the place where they lived and its surrounding areas, and this only increased her persistent yearning and thirst to know more about this place, about the wolves who lived in regiments known as packs. She knew Santi and Darius had been each been thrown out from one, the Siverian Pack and Destinian Pack, in their own adolescent days, but that was just about it. They didn't give a large explanantion as to why, but Amoret already knew she had been born into an unusual sort of family. Her parents both had odd quirks, and so did Fawn and Akaira, that closest things to aunts she would ever have. Illustrian, her dearest yet lost brother had been a quirk, too. Vee was just weird in general, without any extra strings. Vee was another aunt, she guessed. Probably not actually related by blood, but what did that really matter? Oh, and Riniad, Neva, and even Amoret herself were suspected to contain interesting twists, but Amoret was fine either way. Hey, if it's something that will help me figure this place out, then why not? If it means extra pateince and training and whatever, forget it! I'm fine just the way I am--"OWW!!" The brave, fearless explorer snarled as a thorn poked its way, almost defiantly, deep into her pad. She slumped down near the banks of the lake, glaring at the black, curved thistle. "Just lovely!" She groaned.

Lilly Pad was already running out of herbs for the Sheerian Pack. She never really thought that it would happen so quickly or that the herbs kept on drying and rotting and she just had to get rid of them quickly before they stunk. Now the herb healer neophyte was grabbing as many herbs as she should when she heard the snarl. Dang! From her point of view, that snarl could have been heard from a mile away.
She started to run toward the source of the snarl and came to a wolf, younger than her and apperently from the area the wolf was, thorns. Lilly Pad walked toward her advoiding all the thorns and put down the herbs. "Do you need help?" She asked kindly.

Amoret whirled around, in her mess of surprise, initial hostility, and haste, she dug the thorn deeper into her paw. She stumbled, groaning as pain sliced through her leg. She quickly raised the paw so as to not put any more pressure on it or drive the thorn in deeper. She blinked at the wolf, actually not too much older than she, and weighed her options. I could lie, tell her I'm just a loner passing through, forge a fake name and a backstory -- hey, it's fun, but too normal of me. It'll get hard to keep track of these stories, soon. She smiled inwardly, thinking of all the wolves she'd fooled while getting directions somewhere or help with herbs or something. Nah, I'll just keep it clean this time. Maybe I can find out some stuff about where this wolf is from? She smells like....a pack. I'm not sure which one, but definitly a pack. Santi, Darius, and the others certainly aren't going to tell me anything...might as well figure out for myself. And it would help to get rid of this thorn in the process..."Er....yeah....I got a thorn stuck in my paw," She woofed honestly. "Who might you be? I don't believe we've met before."

Lilly Pad nodded and looked around if there was anymore thorns cause the wolf has to lay down for this. Nope, no more thorns. "OK, you have to trust me but I need you to lay so I can get to the thorn. Also I'm not making any promises for it to not to hurt. Do you know what kind of thorn? It'll help," She asked.
Then the fae asked for her name. "Lilly Pad, Sheerian neophyte herb healer," She introduced herself. "What's your name? I don't think that we ever ment either." Lilly Pad asked.

Trust you? Okay, I know you're a healer and all, but are you stupid? Packwolves are always so silly! They honestly think I trust them? "Yeah, sure, that works I guess," she muttered, laying down and sticking her paw out for Lilly Pad. "Um...it's a dang-this-hurts thorn. Is that specific enough?" She snickered, ignoring when she questioned Amoret for her name. "So what's it like to be the um....Sheeran herb healer neophyte?" She asked, pronouncing the strange title with a slight difficulty. Geeze, they have such weird titles! Whatever happened to just being wolf? I think I would rather have one of mom and dad's quirks than be labeled like that!

Lilly Pad smirked from the loner's reply. "Niiice," She replied. "I mean a hook thorn, or just a regular thorn, this is a hook thorn so it'll be easier to get out of you paw." The neophyte showed her smallest claw from her front paw and used the curve part of her claw on the paw as the sharper end would go under the hook of the thorn and slowly took it out.
"Again, if it hurt, my bad but again. I never promised anything. In my opinion, it's great cause I always wanted to be a herb healer since I was a pup, my brother, I can't say brother cause one of them died is a mentor, one of my sister is missing, my other sister is just nice. Mythic is a warrior. Other than that crap, it's great."

Amoret wrinkled her nose, but said nothing as Lilly Pad took out the thorn or babbled loudly about things that did not appeal to or interest her very much. "Herb healer? And since when do wolves go around blabbing about their families? Honestly, I know loners are supposedly the secretive type, but I didn't think packs threw their histories out to random strangers, either," she woofed scornfully. She wasn't trying to be snooty or anything, and she knew she sounded rude ;; after all, this wolf just helped her. But, though she already knew packs were different, she found this wolf suspicious. Okay, screw packs and loners and tribes and stuff, no wolf in their right head just goes and tells a stranger their family died or whatever! "Thanks for getting the thorn out, though," she murmured, voice kinder, but not apologetic.

Lilly Pad was at a smile and then slowly fall down to a frown. "Oh, that was rude of me sorry. What's your name?" She asked the loner. The loner didn't really introduced herself anyways. "If you don't mind me asking, I never seen you before that's why." The herb healer neophyte explained the second part of what she was going to say. "Well, your welcome by the way," The neophyte nodded to her.
