Blizzard stalked to top of the steep hill. He smirked. This was where his father's dead body, torn from a fight and half-eaten. Blizzard's smirk vanished. His father. The one who had given him life, but hated his own son and had beaten him to the point of scarring, then abandon him and left him to die. Funny thing, karma. Because he had beaten Blizzard, he died a painful death.

Not good, not good... mom is going to kill me! The slick black pelt of a young wolven fae bristled slightly at the rumble of a storm in the distance... one that was steadily advancing across the valley. She was swiveling her head back and forth like a startled owl, surrounded by foreign scents that overwhelmed her undeveloped senses. She was a rogue; a rogue that hadn't the faintest idea that she had stepped onto pack territory. Glancing around, she back into a tree, jumping as the bark brushed her pelt. She was barely neophyte age, and had been separated from her parents... which wasn't a good thing, especially with Hellfire spewing out its fiends every which way. ...I shouldn't have chased that stupid rabbit... now I'm lost... and mom is still going to kill me! Neva paused mid-step, spotting a figure nearby. Her breath caught in her throat and she froze, unable to run. What if he sees me? She willed her legs to move, but she remained frozen in her fear, as vulnerable as they come.

((sorry it took so long to reply, I got grounded))
Blizzard tensed when he caught sight of the strange wolf. He had never been in a real battle before, and he didn't know what to do. His legs became stiff, ready to defend himself if she attacked. "This is Siverian Pack territory. What are you doing here?" he asked in the bravest voice he could muster.

The young she-wolf crouched, lowering herself to the ground in a clear sign of fearful submission. But she soon realized that this wolf wasn't much older than herself, and it gave a tiny sliver of confidence. Managing to straighten posture and speak without her voice breaking, she replied, "I got lost... I didn't know that I was on anyone's territory." What little bravery that appeared in her voice was soon lost when she realized that, perhaps, there might be other, larger Siverian wolves around.... Mom and Dad are going to kill me... Ears going back, she quickly added, "I didn't mean no harm by coming here..."

Blizzard relaxed a bit. Good, she isn't a treat. "You're lost? Where are your parents? Or do you have any?" He was still young, and worry for the other wolf wasn't hidden from his speech. Blizzard causiously and slowly walked up to her, though he made sure he was out of range for an attack.

Neva took a step back, taking a defensive stance. But her fur flattened slightly, as if she was begginning to accepet that the other wolf only wanted to help. Well, I hope he only wants to help... "...err, yeah. My family and I-- we live out by the big lake... well, somewhere around there, anyway..." She trailed off before a sudden thought jolted into mind. "Say... you aren't a Destinian... are you?" I hope not-- if he's a Destinian, I'll get in even MORE trouble!

"Destinian? No, I'm part of the Siverian Pack. Anyways, if you're lost, I can help you get back to your family, they must be worried. You're lucky that you have parents." Blizzard said the last part so quietly he wasn't sure if she heard him.

"Good," she breathed, relief in her voice. "And thank you... but--" She blinked, her ears twitching at his last, quietly uttered words. "...you mean you don't...? Oh... I'm sorry," Neva murmured sympathetically. She looked down at her paws, shuffling her feet softly and unsure of what she should say. I don't know what I'd do if Mom or Dad ever disappeared... with Loni and everyone running around, we'd all be sitting ducks!

Blizzard gave her a reassuring smile. "It's fine. I never knew my mom, and my father couldn't take care of me and left me with my pack. My friend, Zero, is like a brother to me and he watches over and protects me just like we're family." He glanced up at the sky. "The lake's this way, follow me." He headed off toward the direction of the lake.

Neva nodded. "...Zero must be a great guy." Unlike Akaira... mom says that she's a traitor... She padded after him, now much calmer. Her pup-like innocence and curiosity returned (even though she was about neophyte age) and she began looking up at the scenery around her in awe. "Wow... this is all your territory? How do you remember how to get back to your den?" For a young femme who lived in a small patch of land under her parents' constant watch, it was no surprise that the unexplored packlands seemed enormous from her perspective. It would be fun to play tag on this territory...

Blizzard started to nod, but stopped himself. "Well, yes and no. This land belong to the Siverian Pack, there are a lot of wolves to guard and protect it. We are a big pack, and we need the territory to hunt when snow starts to fall and prey is scarce.
"As for finding my way back to the camp, this is my home, and I know ever inch of it. I need to know the land so I know where the best food is, where to ambush other packs if the provoke a fight, and the quickest way back to the camp if I need to warn them about something."
Blizzard stopped and gazed out over the seas of grass, weeds, bushes, tress.. everything that made up the place where wolves and other creatures lived in front of him.
"This is as far as I can go. If I go any further, I'll be out of my own territory and I can get punished by the alpha. The lake is that way." He pointed with his nose slightly to the left. "Nice meeting you, good luck with your parents."

"...woah... that's so... that's so amazing..." Neva stared, wide-eyed, at Blizzard. How could he know so much about where to go and where to fight? He's barely older than I am... then again, I really wouldn't even need to know this stuff, but still... And then he paused, and she hesitated when he told her to go on without him. "You're not allowed to leave?" she woofed, surprised. "Not to travel or anything?"

**Salinsk watched from a distance, not sure what to make of the loner. She obviously wasn't a threat, but what about her family, for all he knew she could have five dangerous brothers led by an even more dangerous father who had come to ravage and pillage. Maybe the fear in her voice wasn't real, she could be a scout, or an assassin, or.... he didn't know... a threat? The black pelted warrior had to do something, else his consciousness betray him. Stepping forward into view he said softly,** no, he isn't aloud to leave, and rightfully you shouldn't be aloud the enter,

Blizzard cringed at the sight of the other Siverian wolf. He had really hoped that they wouldn't meet another wolf from his pack, but his luck had run out as soon as he was born. Blizzard turned toward Neva.
"Don't worry about him, he's just someone from my pack." Turning to Salinsk, he added, "she was just lost and I was showing her the way back to where she lives, but frankly, I don't believe it's any of you business. What are you doing out here anyways? Spying? Do you think she's a threat? She barely as old as me, and she hasn't had the training I've had, so don't go sticking your nose in where it doesn't belong."
Blizzard surprised even himself. He couldn't say he really cared that the warrior was his elder and he respected him, but he knew he should never speak out against an older wolf, especially one of his own pack. He had simply spoken his thoughts, and if that was wrong, maybe he didn't want to be part of the pack. Perhaps he had been around Zero too much...

**Salisnk blinked in mild surprise at the younger wolfs courage, then narrowing his eyes, he replied,** Whether I go is none of your business, neither is guiding lost wolves home. Speaking of spying however, ** he grinned wickedly, ** how do you know she wasn't the spy.
**He was mildly impressed by the wolfs courage, but the lack of respect (or even decent manners) was something far from unusual among the younger wolves, which he thought had to be squashed immediately.
However this particular wolf wasn't usually rude, so he'd mostly let it pass.**
However, congratulations on your courage, few speak their minds with such openness, **it was meant as both positive, and negative.**
