B3f0r3 th3 m33ting b3gan "WE ARE WOLVES! WE ARE THE YOZORANS! AND WE ARE NO LESS THEN ANY OTHER WOLF PACK!" It was a blistering roar, a malicious and proud cry.
Fang was next to his sister when he thought that he heard something. "Hey Lilly, did you hear something?"
Lilly turned her head. "No, but it might have been your stomich. When we get back, lets go hunting O.K.?"
"Sure." Fang answered feeling emberressed that he got something that he didn't here with his stomich. ((I'm sorry I had to do that. XP))[/blockquote] Am0ng Iv3r's PacK War was one of those scariest things that Pernille hated. It was war's fault that her mother died and now she's afrade of her father not leaving the war zone. What was she going to do now? She has her pups who were almost ready to be neophytes, never really been able to see their grandpaw(Yes i did that on purpose). And then she'll have to be the leader if Iver dies. "Dad." She woofed as she walked next to him. "There is really nothing to gain here if we go to war. We'll only loose. We can't win a war that we cannot win." the beta said to him outloud. "I'm not saying that I wont support you dad but this might be one of the biggest mistakes that'll live on through your I think ten lives!" Pernille was done of what she had to say. Am0ng the m33ting Lilly Pad grew tired after a second or two. It's a moonless meeting there isn't any moonlight. She thought to herself, didn't want to say it outloud and then get into trouble, things were ment to be kept in your head and not out to the world. She was worried. Even they were loosing ' moonlight' it wasn't formal to start a meeting without the orginal four packs. Something must be up. The neophyte healer grew worry.[/blockquote]

Nightshade's ears twitched with mild amusement at Fireflight's choice of words. Well, it is a very common expression. I think I used that at a meeting before, too. In any case, I think everybody knows what she means.
Fireflight knew there was no moon, but didn't feel the need to correct her introductory phrase. She had more impressions to make here tonight than just first and fleeting ones. She glanced over her bewildered pack, soft amusement in her eyes. Her form was swathed with cobwebs, and dried blood clung on the edges of the giant gnashes. She had arrived via a different route: Kiki and Silas probably wouldn't have let her go, so she snuck out. There was no way she could miss this meeting, whether a fainted maple tree had fallen on her or not. Might as well dispell confusion... "I don't think I need to tell you that my pack was whirlwinded by a tornado, seeing as all of us here were touched by the storm that passed just a week ago. Luckily, the Destinians lost no wolves and the downpour and sharp drafts, and the worst injury was, well, me....but I think it's quite apparent that I'm nearing recovery swiftly. Though the Destinians pulled through without greivous wounds, we understand that some of our distant brothers and sisters have not. For that, let us take in a moment of silence for all wolves, pack lined disregarded, who perished or were injured in the tornado." Fireflight bowed her head with solemnity, allowed the silence to pass, even more deeply, through the entire assembly.

In the Meeting
Nectar bowed her head silently, for the wolves who had died during the tornado. She didn't really remember where she had been during the tornado, but she was glad that she had gotten out alive.
Among the Yozorans
Ligua shifted, silent, letting his silence become whatever the others wanted it to be. He was pretty sure it would be interpreted as a signal of assent, for war seemed inevitable.

Styx half-bowed his head. He was one of the wolves that was injured during the tornado, but luckily his life was spared. He actually smiled. The good side to the tornado was that he learned to swim. Although he didn't find it that useful since he planned that he would never fish or hunt beavers again. The bad side was that by learning to swim he also almost drowned. Whoever knew water could be so evil.

Moonwind's sharp, and oddly calm, blue eyes looked once more for a familar face. A small sigh left her nose as she found no one. Suddenly pain gripped her leg and she clenched her jaws tight. All the showed something was wrong was the sudden pulling motion of her forleg to her chest. Iver's Man Darkness pricked his ears and smirked softly. "A war thats it is it? I can't wait to show off my skills and take down a few of these... creatures!" he thought silently the smirk planted on his lips.

Fireflight continued after the silence, "The Destinians are proud to have advanced select neophytes to warriors, pups to neophytes, and warriors to mentors. And we are blessed to have such a determined she-wolf as Svel to stand as our pack's new proxy. The fog is thinner after the tornado's lashings, but frost and snow are coating the lands now, and it seems winter is nearly upon us. Our hunting is, surprisingly, better than it has been in a number of moons. We're stronger." Fireflight stepped back so Yago or Nightshade could speak.
Solaris tilted his head, thinking of what the Destinian leader had reported. They hadn't been harmed much by the tornado, and now some of their prey was back after the mist, despite recent harsh frostings and snow-showers. It was clear the Destinians were in better shape than some of them were....but they didn't have hostilities with any of the packs present... Alliance. That's what they're looking for....and something else to stir up negativity about the Yozorans...

Yago half-opened her mouth to speak, but them closed it, unsure of what to say. There were no new neophytes, and she hadn't gone hunting lately to see how good prey was. She decided to wait for the other leaders to speak to give her an idea.

(Sorry -- I edited my post so it says Yago instead of Pyre. xP Forgot )
Nightshade, seeing that Yago did not intend to speak, stepped forward to say only minimal words. Nothing much interesting had occurred on the Siverian front -- at least nothing the other packs would hear of. Nothing about new wolves missing quite yet. A stay breeze gave away what could either be arriving hostilities or watching foes. "Progress has been made in the search for Annelise. We owe a great gratitude to the Destinians, who have helped us in the search by allowing us and escorting us while investigating the area in their territory where they found her scent. Unfortunately...we are no closer to catching the Yozoran dog who did cruelty to our beloved healer. We will find her, and there will be a price. A hefty one at that." Nightshade's tone was strong, confident, certain. She moved back to her place among the leaders and waited for Yago to speak.

(( Well, nobody really died in the Sheerans or anything. A lot of wolves got hurt, though. I guess you could just touch on that briefly, and then say something about.....*scratches head* the seasonal change? xD ))

((okay then...))
Yago took a deep breath and stepped forward. "We Sheerans are lucky not to have lost any wolves, yet a lot of them did get injured. Other than that, we are trying as hard to cope with the winter weather as the rest of the packs are." She stepped back and felt a small smirk trying to break through. That wasn't so bad. As long as we don't get into a fight, I'm okay.

( *sigh* just trying to help....)
Nightshade glanced around, hairs still on end and tail twitching suspiciously. It would appear the meeting was over.... ...except for I know better than to accept things as they appear. This world is just too messed up for that. She sighed heavily, wistfully, then stepped down from the stone. She had an awful lot to think about. Where the hell is Sabela when I need her? Dang, if she was back and in one piece, standing in the middle of the clearing to welcome us back, I doubt I'd even ask for an explanation at this point. "Siverians, homeward!" she barked. Her slender form turned, meandering her way back up the slope and waiting for her pack at the fringed of woodland. She flashed Yago and Fireflight neutral farewells, lavendar-hued optics lost deep in thought. Ugh. Was that anti-climatic, or what?

Yago looked down at her wolves and nodded, a queue that it was time to go back now. She turned without another word towards the edge of the clearing.
That was terrible, thought Styx. The next moonless meeting I have like this and I'll just stop going to them completely. He sighed and followed his leader, looking back curiously to see if the missing pack would come while they were leaving.
