The night was cool, crisp, and only the ghost of the mist was draped around the empty clearing. No leaves or greens were piled anywhere, as they had burned away long ago, but the trunks of fallen trees and scraps of blood and pelt spattered the ground. A dark blanket seemed to cover the seemingly weary, exhausted space. Nothing lived here any longer, no prescence breathed within its boundaries...
Pawsteps crushed and crackled across the branch-strewn forest floors, Siverian footfalls passing over the ground. An oddly blue-silver and red pathed she-wolf was leading them, a finely-tuned poker face serving as a mask for her intense worry. Why am I doing this again? Where is Sabela now? God, I'm going to have to do something if she doesn't turn up soon....at least announce a proxy!
Nightshade's tail twitched, signaling to her pack that they could enter the mounrful graveyard.

Styx peered out into the dead clearing. I always thought moonless meetings were suppose to be nice, happy times. This is my second one and its more worse than the first one. He flattened his ears and scanned the clearing again. "Looks like the Siverian wolves are coming. I don't see any of the other packs right now."
Yago came from under a shadow and stood next to Styx. "Very well. I guess the meeting will begin soon. Sheeran wolves, let's go," she said as she slowly padded out into the dead clearing.

"STYX!!!" A sharp, yip-howl came from a cream-and-brown she-wolf. The petite, bandaged and limping neophyte rushed towards her friend, relieved and elated. "Dear GOLDEN WOLF I'm glad you're all right! I tried to find you, but the storm was so bad, I couldn't see a thing! I didn't see you at camp, either," she woofed worriedly. Meg licked Styx's face and giggled, taking a few steps back so he couldn't retaliate.
Kippy entered the clearing with his head down, frowning firecely and looking depressed and deflated. He sat down next to Freya, the two of them not speaking, but sharing a long, dark, stare. The two seemed almost cult-like.
Arkantos entered, glancing around with an aura of nonchalance. No wolf would know that he'd killed here less than a moon ago....no wolf would ever suspect him. He kept his eyes away from Freya and Kippy, shoving away the flickers of remorse that threatened to cloud his judgement if he was carried away. We all lose someone close to us eventually. I guess this is just practice for them. I did them a favor, toughened them up.

Lance padded into the clearing, looking like an average wolf without a thought on his mind. He even walked as if he were talking a carefree stroll through the park. But he was only supressing his emotions, and his eyes betrayed only a stark expressionless void. He sat down quietly behind the other Siverians without a fuss.
Magic glanced toward Nightshade before going to claim a seat on the barren ground near a scorched log, a troubled expression on his face. Where is Sabela?
Despite the fact that the ground lacked any leaves or shrubbery to trample, Toss-- being, well, himself-- managed to make quite a racket as he stumbled toward the Twilight Clearing. Rapier, as usual, was at his side, carefully guiding the old and confused wolf toward Nightshade. "It's alright, Toss... Fireflight will be back soon," Rapier murmured, sounding ten times more confident than he actually felt. "...I wanted to stay outside and wait for everyone... but you didn't let me..." Toss grumbled. "Come on Toss-- would Fireflight want you to act this way during a meeting?" "...I suppose not," Toss sighed. "And you can go sit down-- I'm not a child." "...Toss..." "What?" "Wrong way." Blinking, Toss mumbled, "I knew that" before heading towards Nightshade, sitting down a few feet from her and gazing off into the clearing. Rapier shook his head, bemused, before settling down himself.
Milo followed Yago, pausing only to glance over his shoulder at his two fellow Proeliators, who bickered loudly just behind. "I'm telling ya, there's not many who could resist this grin," Coop snickered. Dallas half-scowled, half-smirked. "Yeah... what was that? Sorry, I couldn't hear you over the roar of your ego..." Milo rolled his eyes and sat down, blocking the brotherly argument out of his mind.

"Um, hi Meg. Yea, some storm, eh? I was lucky to make it out of that stream alive. Although, from almost drowning I learned swim." He tried to smile, but he didn't feel like he had the enthusiasm to smile. "So, um, how did you escape the storm?"

Meg eyed Styx as if he had offended her, then she sniffed, "I just used my brilliant mind, that's all!" She shrugged it off. If he's going to act all nonchalant about the whole ordeal, then so am I!
Solaris and Natalia joined their Sheeran packmates in the clearing. Terralisa followed them, not really knowing anyone to hang around with. She was contemplating heavily the option of speaking to her brothers when they came with the Yozorans, but for now all she could do was fidget and wait for them to come.

Be cool this time! Finely sculpted, well made even, was the brute. Did he flaunt this? Not normally, not at all, actually. 'Brother' on the other hand... Well what more could any wolf expect of the handsome, egotistical Zethro? It was a miracle that Selia and Tiah managed to keep him down to earth! Mentioning Selia and Tiah... Pyre hadn't seen his little 'sisters' since the tornado.... Hopefully the 'daughters' of Mist were alright! How was Pyre to know that the little females were soon going to be the next two piles of bones outside Loni's den? The lethal killer had them on his hit list. Why? They were the only remaining wolves in the blood line of Kojo and Faith! That would be one branch of Destiny's family tree completely finished off. Little did poor Loni know that Yoru was still alive. Poor idiot. Ah well, right?
Eyes were scanning the dark, ominous Twilight Clearing at this point in time. Taking in every wolf that was present. No Yozorans came into line of vision. Not yet, anyway. What did Iver have planned...? Natalia. The name popped into his mind like a shining beacon as gaze landed upon the pretty thing who'd come with her brother, Solaris. Try to NOT be an idiot, 'kay? Giving his chest fur a quick lick, Pyre sauntered over to the twosome. He really shouldn't take lessons from Zethro. Really. "Hell-oo." A greeting to Natalia and Solaris. But the flirtatious edge to it was clearly directed at Natalia. WHY in GOLDEN WOLF'S NAME did he EVER listen to Zethro? WHY!?
Svel was a sterling ghost as she darted into the clearing. It almost seemed like she disappeared and reappeared tonight. Maybe that had to do with the way moon light caught her gorgeous pelt. Enchanting eyes fell upon Milo within seconds. Why did the female remember this wolf who had trespassed so long ago onto Destinian territory so well? Simple really: Svel was love sick. Head over heels. But she REFUSED to show any HINT of affection toward any wolf other then her pups. Halting herself halfway to where Milo stood, the proxy just sort of stared for a few moments. Looking like a complete idiot. With a shake of head, fae turned back to own pack and seated herself next to .... well no one actually. Just sort of sitting there by herself. Isolated from the other wolves. Fyren and Michio, her own pups, weren't even sitting with their mother. Yet her eyes were on them, and scanning the forest at the same time. It was as if Svel could never let her guard down. Afraid he would steal her beloved little ones away in the second she wasn't watching. Always afraid. Always ready to fight. To die. To kill. Always.

Milo turned his head a little, and saw Svel-- a familiar wolf-- sitting by herself. She looks lonely... maybe I should go talk to her? Wait-- no... maybe she wants to sit by herself... or maybe.. GAH-- just talk to her! The Sheeran Proxy got to this paws, slowly approaching the Destinian fae until he was pratically standing right in her face. Uhh... back up a little!! Retreating a step, he offered a small, polite grin and woofed, "Hey, uhh.... remember me? I just, uh, wanted to say... hi...." He trailed off, clearly at a loss for words. "...umm, if you don't want me here, I can go back over there," he blurted out. Wow. Aren't you just the smart one today? he thought cynically, resisting a groan at his own muffled words.
Toss continued staring out into the crowd, eyes glazed in an almost drowsy-like state. ...I wonder if there's a nap time during this meeting...

((What does nonchalant mean))
Styx sniffed, too. Not from being mean or angry, but because he was really cold. "So your brilliant mind wasn't thinking right when you tried to save me?" He wanted to smirk, but he decided not to for a good reason.
Yago watched as more wolves entered the clearing. My first moonless meeting as leader. What do I say? What do I do? Maybe I can request to go last. Or maybe I should go first and just get it over with. My head hurts now. She slumped her shoulders and looked down at her paws.

{ Nonchalant } Meg snorted, rolling her eyes for the full effect now. Styx's smugness was starting to get on her nerves -- why couldn't he ust be happy to see her like she was happy to see him? Stupid males..."Mhm. I'll remember that next time you trip into the water and beg me to save you," she laughed softly, heavily sarcastic now. "Becuase you can totally swim like a professional, anyways!" She pointedly turned her nose away from him. Natalia blinked, surprised that Pyre had greeted her. Why would he? Shouldn't he be speaking with other proxies or betas? Why waste time speaking to her when they could've spoken some other time back at camp? And honestly, why is he talking to me at all? I barely know the wolf....She glanced at Solaris for a moment, but her brother seemed distracted, getting up and murmuring something about finding a she-wolf named Moonwind. He. Left. Me. ALONE. With. Another. Wolf...She sent a blazing glare after Solaris' unnoticing ebony form. After an awward moment of internal carnage and little external movement, Natalia looked at her paws and shuffled them with slight embarressment. Chill. Wolves talk to each other all the time! Realx, they'll think you're weird! "Er, hello...." she woofed softly.

((Ooc: Lotsa luv-struck wuffies )) Chicken Muffin bounded into the clearing, head and tail held up high as she yipped her presence loud enough for anyone with ears to notice. She stopped, exaulted from 'running', to look around. The red and black wolf paused as she looked from side to side at all the up-close-and-friendly groups. "Whadda way to make meself ousted" She slurred, still trying to look everywhere at once. "Ah 'eck, howit going mushes!" Muffin yelled, before scampering around in a circle and falling in a heap on the floor, grinning stupidly.

(Yes, but what does nonchalant mean?)
Yago pricked her ears and looked at Chicken Muffin. Who even lets some of these wolves come?
"Well...I hope you trip into...10 feet water! Then we'll see who's laughing." Styx sniffed again and turned around. He wasn't technically angry. He exasperated (what ever that means).

( xD Acca, go back to that post where I put {Nonchalant} and hover your cursor over the word. It's a link to dictionary.com's definition for it. Sorry about that!)
"Ten feet of water, huh? Well bring it! I'm sure it wouldn't be any hard feat for a well-practiced Sheeran swimmer!" She snorted, cuffing him over the ears to add just a bit of good-naturedness to the antagonism. "We'll work on that in the spring -- that water was cold! I get shivers just remembering it!"
Fireflight was absent from the Destinians tonight, recovering from her falling out with a maple tree. Well, actually, the Maple Tree and Fireflight had been just fine....the wind had wished them to both fall. A life of hers was lost, but luckily none of the packs would find out that the new leader had lost her first life so soon. It seemed that conflict with the Yozorans was bright and blood red on the horizon...
Two new faces were amongst the Destinians gathered, new Moonless Meetings, that is. Tatiana and Etheris blinked around in awe at the numerous wolves in the throng. They spotted Chicken Muffin and laughed, relaxing and immediately feeling at home here. I wonder who that wolf is? Tatiana thought fondly. I guess grown-ups can have a little fun...still kinds freaky if you think about it... Etheris smiled as he watched the eccentric Siverian.

Moonwind limped into the clearing and panted softly trying to quietly slip into the meeting. Her paw was crudely wraped in cobwebs. Her silver pelt made it hard for her to sneek to an empty spot a little ways off. She walked as if she didn't care if she was late or in pain. She tried to hide her limp the best she could.

Solaris glanced around the clearing anxiously, the small smirk that had formed on his maw from Pyre's approach to his sister fading now as the anxieties increased. Hadn't Moonwind been right behind him? She's been injured, but his own limp was ailing him now. His exciement for the meeting had caused for a small lapse in memory where his injury was concerned. He winced now, noting that the cobwebs were already too soiled to be of much good. He didn't remove them, though, as he hoped the thin covering would at least keep some of the dirt from getting in the wound. He continued with his searching for Moonwind. I wonder where she is? I hope she's okay. I think the meeting should start soon...
