Eurasia took a breath in. Her heart literally fell to peices as she saw Featherswift droop her ears (Me too! xD). "Is that a suggestion or oder?" Oh, why did she ahve to talk back? The more Eurasia stood there looking at her upset and offended friend made her feel like she really was a flea bag and dirty mongrel. She opened her mouth to answer, but nothing came out. Her mind was throbbing with hurt. But quikly and surprisingly, Moonset walked to stand by Featherswift's side and said, "It was an order. Listen to the herb healer." As Moonset nudged the copper and white wolf to turn and walk back to camp, she looked over her shoulder with a glint of admiration in her eyes, but it didn't last long. Eurasia also thought she saw a rapid smile on Moonset's muzzle, but it seemed only like imagination. Whatever had happened, Eurasia was stunned, frozen in place, that Moonset seemed to have a hint of appreciation for the new herb healer. Thinking that Featherswift was out of earshot, even though she had no idea if featherswift had completely gone, Moonset spoke calmy and gently, making Eurasia's heart pound. "Ya know, Eurasia, you're not half bad." And without a response Moonset turned and walked away. Eurasia stood stunned, but happy that this hostile wolf had opened the door to her heart a crack and let Eurasia peek through. For once she was seeing respect and a small amount of acceptence in Moonset, and almost immediately Eurasia felt the same for her. It was a good day, except the fact that she had thrown a friend away, but she had made a new one. And soon Eurasia was padding down to catch up with Featherswift, eager to apologize, and wondered if the gloomy wolf had overheard.
"Hey, Featherswift, wait!"

Featherswift walked off as Eurasia told her to go. She padded along with mixed feelings toward camp. The sun had gone down some more and the heat had vanished a little leaving a cool evening. Suddenly she heard paw steps behind her and Eurasia saying,"Hey, Featherswift, wait!" Her heart lept with joy. Her friend didn't get in trouble and apparently Moonset had let her go because of the murmuring she had heard of the wolf even though she couldn't understand any of it. She turned around and saw Eurasia coming up to her. "Let's go back to the camp. Maybe they have fresh prey waiting," she smiled. "Or we could go to the dusk dens (okay so this is where we move it to...Gade I guess to make sense because of my first post there XD Sorry!)," she said hopefully and the pup inside her coming up. Featherswift had made a friend that would not through her away. She had met Moonset of the pack and had accepted her as a pack mate, but in a way saw her as a threat. Now she had exploring to do in the camp to understand Sheeran pack more and hopefully meet more wolves. As she waited for her friend she then said,"Sorry for back then."

Eurasia smiled, happier and more carefree than before. With Featherswift, she felt free. "There's nothing to apologize about. I need to apologize though, about saying that to you. Me and Moonset had to settle things. If anyone asks, I tripped on a rock." She said, holding up her leg. "Let's go to the Dusk Dens." Eurasia said, prancing deep in the grass. Spinning and twirling, she wondered about her answer. The Dusk Dens was the very place she was atacked by Halo, the possessed dog. He still sat in her den as a patient. Slowly, a chill ran down her spine, and all thoughts of freedom were washed away.

"Well, okay. I'll cover for you and Moonset then. Is something wrong?," she asked noticing a chill run through her friend.

Eurasia sighed, a puff of exasperation, not willing to explain now. She had too many thoughts in her head. So impatiently, and without answering, she ran across the grass in the direction of the camp, calling to Featherswift to join her. (Let's just leave it hanging here. We can continue in Gade. =D)
