Vivi's heart lifted when she caught glance of Jolon's grin, just after he had taken a lunge at her, causing her to loose balance. "Oof!" She barked as her body hit the ground with a thud. "Is that all you got?" Her teasing advanced into taunting, if they aren't the same thing, and she made fake lunges at him. After a while, she started to simply strut. It kind of made her look like a deer, so she stopped, in case Jolon felt like choosing her as prey. Then she lowered herself with her but in the air, a playful gesture, and started to mock. "Grrrr. I'm the mighty and all powerful Jolon. We'll see who catches Vivi!" Her eye glowed with excitment, and missing the feeling of the wind in her face, she hyperly ran away. Without a word, not even caring if he chased her down, though he probably would, she just darted away from him and ran. The running turned into a gallop, and eventually her speed was pretty unreal. Her laughter rang through the air, and all around her was happy and golucky. There were unicorns and rainbows in her mind. But, all happy turned into pure shock as she tripped, fell, and rolled down a hill. When did that hill get there? She thought. Fur being pricked with brambles and her speed accelerating quickly, she stubbornly tried to stop herself. Reaching out a paw, it accidentally got caught on a tree root. "OWW!" She yelped. Finally her paw came loose, and her rolling continued. Where in Hellfire is the bottom? She was getting dizzy now, stomach turning and turning into a knot, and her eye spinning in her head. And as if her prayers were answered, her body landed with a loud thud at the bottom. "Ohhh." She moaned, looking up to see the hill she had just rolled off of. "Oh my Lupis! How did I not see that?" She couldn't beleive it. Would Jolon be able to even find her now? Or would he roll down the hill, or more like mountain, or ravine or something. It was a very big hill, that's the point.

Jolon smiled when she taunted him and started to almost prance? Then she pretended to be him and ran off very excited. They were acting like pups and for once he could act like one without worries of what his alpha would think. He ran after her trying to catch up as fast as he could. She was a very fast runner and it just made the game that much more fun. Of course she was so far ahead he couldn't see her, but he could hear her panting. His ears then heard something like an 'oww'. Why is she saying tha- his thoughts were caught off instantly. Jolon's paws dropped over the edge of a....ravine?! Here?! Jolon instantly flung his body back up, using his claws to grab into the ground before he started to flip down. His head was facing the top of the ravine as his tail faced the bottom. Slowly, he grinded to a stop. Sighing, he looked around almost confused. How in Lupus did this get here? Perking his ears at a voice, he turned his face to look at the bottom. Fur could be seen and an inquiring, hurt, expression showed on the ball of fur. Vivichi was all the way at the bottom while he was in the middle, thankfully not rolling down. "Vivichi! Are you okay," he barked down towards her. I hope she's not hurt... he worried to himself as he waited for a response...any would be nice.

Vivichi looked up as Jolon started to speak to her. "So you fell down too, eh?" She muttered to herself. Speaking louder so Jolon could hear she said "Yeah, I'm good, but I think I did somthing to my paw. A sprain, maybe?" She dangled the paw in the air. It hurt much more than she showed. Who knows, it could worse than a sprain. Thinking fast she limped to a bush, yanking a twig and pulling some grasses from the ground. "And....over there..." She muttered quietly. "There." Her paw was wrapped in bundles of grass, absorbing most shock when it moved, in fact, keeping it from moving. "Come down here!" She barked, happy as always.

He listened as she said her paw hurt and probably caught on something on the way down. She did something then with grass on her paw. Then her voiced echoed back up to h im, happy, telling him to go down there. His instincts told him to go up not down. Jolon forced himself down, sliding slowly. Finally, his paws hit solid ground near Vivichi. Thanks goodness he hadn't toppled down like he thought Vivi had. That's why you don't run like that in territory you didn't know 100% about. He then turned his muzzle toward her and looked at her paw. Sniffing it, he made sure no blood was present. "I'm glad your okay. Do you think we should go to camp to see if anyone can look at that. I don't think Yozoran pack has a healer, but maybe someone knows more than they let on. Or if they don't, at least we can get you off your paws. If it's a sprain we don't want it to get worse right," he asked. Jolon was worried for Vivichi. She was his first true friend in Yozoran pack. He didn't know what to think of Crow and Lyell right now.

"Um, actually, I think they just accepted a healer. His name's Slip, I think. But, really, there's no sense in bothering him. I just have to stay off of it a while." She paused a little, thinking with relief at how the place had been taken. Thank God Slip was the herb healer. At first when Ligua had barged into camp, it seemed like she was the only one who knew any herbs. What a drag that would have been, trapped in a den all day working with leaves and special medicines. She was happy here, running free and like the golucky wolf she was. Starting to walk on three legs Vivichi made her way to the slope, looking up in awe at how she had fallen down that. "Um, Jolon? How do we get back to camp? I fell down that, and I don't think that we would be able to get back up unless I..." She didn't finish. Her theory was quite stupid, and in some ways, retarded. She was going to say "fall up?" but...How on earth would that even work? Shaking her head to forget the stupid self-argument, she waited for Jolon to answer. Of course, she hadn't been a member of the Yozoran Pack for long, and he probably knew his way more. But as she thought about this, wouldn't he have known that the hill, cliff, ravine, whatever, was there and not fallen down it? Great. No one knew how to get back. So by relying on scent, she started to limp her way to some random direction, eyes locked on that path, tail up, smile on her face, and not a word spoken. Merrily she started to humm a tune. And for that time, she actually forgot about Jolon, until his scent wafted over her face. "Oh yeah. You coming?"

Jolon was shocked. Yozoran pack now had a healer?! At least that'll help ease everyone's concern, but it kind of messes up a lot of things... he thought inwardly. He looked up the ravine/hill thing Vivi had fallen off and he'd almost had. What was that doing here?! "I think we should just walk around and find another way," he said when she started walking again with a limp. Then she looked back and asked if he was coming. Jolon loped up to her and nodded. "Yeah, I'm coming," he said eagerly. They needed to get Vivi off her paws. If it was a sprain or worse it could take longer to heal if they took so long to get off her paws. As they walked, he realized for the first time he had had fun with a wolf that didn't shun him. Probably because she hasn't heard about my past. But she did trust me enough to tell me hers, maybe I should start to open up to her more. he thought. His nose kept trying to find a whiff of something he knew. They'd been having so much fun he couldn't remember where they were. He was new in Yozoran and she probably was too if they were both lost. Why would there be a ravine hill thing in the territory and no one happened to tell us about it? He kept looking back at Vivi to make sure she wasn't in any more pain and if she needed help.

(I guess that they are in Tumbleweed Hills now?)
Vivichi narrowed her eyes as she noticed the ground sloping downwards again. In fact, the whole area looked like it was covered with hills kind of like the last one. There were even tumbleweeds bouncing around in the wind. Her tail wagged as a tumbledweed blew past her, and she playfully whacked it with a paw, causing it to fly in Jolon's direction. It hit his face, falling with a soft brushing sound, and Vivichi bellowed with laughter. The throbbing in her paw was forgotten as she pounced on another tumbleweed, and she started to trot down the hills, an awkward looking trot because of her disabled paw, and she once again felt the freedom of the wind on her face. Gingerly she slowed down, making sure she didn't roll down the hill again, and she looked back at Jolon. There he was, a black wolf, black as the midnight sky and his eyes sparking like the stars. They were glittering with playfullness, something she'd never seen before, but they also looked worried. Worried about the treacherous past she saw in his eyes, worried for Vivichi, and worried for... It didn't matter what he worried about. The past she'd seen in his eyes, the reflection of hers, still haunted her. No, she didn't know what the past was, all she knew was that he had a hidden past as she had, except worse. Now she only burned with eagerness inside, wondering if he would share as she had. It didn't seem right to confess something that was so secret and not get the same in return. Perhaps she was being selfish. Perhaps she was wrong to confess in the first place. Perhaps she'd mistaken this wolf for a nice and friendly wolf. What was it that he had done that was so bad? She trusted him, why can't he trust her? What was he afraid of? The whole time Vivichi hadn't even noticed she was standing there, her eyes beaming at Jolon, narrowed. Her tail had been flicking back and forth with irriation, and when she noticed this she quickly turned it into a speeding wag. She fixed her posture, speaking a little embarrassed. "Erm, let's keep going...?" Vivi trotted up to Jolon's side, stumbling often, and continued to limp in that direction. Her paw was excrutiating now, and it didn't bother her to lean against him, taking weight off of her paw. Their fur colors blended together as she stood, leaning against Jolon.

((XD I guess))
As they progressed he didn't happen to see the giant tumbleweed that Vivi had just happily planted in his face until it hit him straight on her target. Point! He was flabbergasted (love that word right now) as she burst out laughing hysterically at him no less. His face was one of shock and then realization hit him. She'd kicked a tumbleweed in his face! He growled playfully and caught up with her. As he did she had stopped and looked at him. Her tail was twitching back and forth and then suddenly stopped and spoke to him in an embaressed voice to keep going in a question. "Of course, what do you think I'm doing while tumbleweeds magically hit me in the face as if I'm a target," he said teasingly with a smile. Then as he finally got to her side she leaned against him. He knew instantly her paw was hurting more than it had been earlier. His black fur had immediatly risen up on end at her touch, but with that thought he let it down. Jolon wasn't used to being leaned on, but he tried to help as much as possible. As they continued to walk, Jolon slowed his pace to make the walking easier for Vivi and her hurt paw. His thoughts had come back and swarmed his head like bees. I should probably tell her my past if she told me hers....if she trusted me that much shouldn't I trust her the same amount? He continued to look ahead and managed to maneuver the insisting tumbleweeds and their spinning madness. Finally, he came to the conclusion and probably got the courage to tell her his life...at least part of it. "Vivi, because you told me your past and trust me enough, I think I should tell you mine," he sighed then launched into his past, everything flashing in his eyes but he could still see the path and Vivi in his sight. "I was born in a lush valley and you would think everything would be peaceful, right? It was until two wolves broke a long law held by all wolves since time was made by the Golden One. My father was the omega of my old pack and my mother was of higher rank. Any who made the crime of being these ranks and becoming mates were sentenced to death or a violent life. My mom had to fight my alpha's and got injured very bad which ended up with her having a limp. I was very small then and yet when I could finally comprehend it it hurt me a lot and also the way my father was looked down on," he said with a real growl this time. He hated the alpha's of his old pack. They knew nothing of pain!
He then continued,"My parents committed a crime that meant they were higher of the rule of the alpha's and were always snarled at. Then a fire came! It was her end because my mother had a limp. Then no-fur's came and killed my pack off, even my father. I was away from the pack as soon as I found my mother dead because I was so grief stricken. I wanted to be alone and yet it caused my father to die. Now both my parents were dead, but the pack that had tortured us was gone entirely. I then walked back to the camp when the fire died to find paw prints in the soot and evil shapes flickered in and out of my vision. The wolves of fire had killed the pack along with the no-furs. A young no-fur came and kept calling me a name, Jolon. It meant ashen trees." He snorted,"Fitting I guess." He wouldn't continue about a secret he had, the dreams. Dreams about dark things and the fire that had killed. The way his teeth wanted revenge and his ambition to right a wrong made forever, the rights of wolves from other ranks. Instead he listened to the wind wondering what she would say now about him. His pelt had risen and his teeth had begun to bare every time he talked of his old pack. Hate came off his along with anger and a small scent of fear wrapped around it. The fear was to the fire, but he wanted to know more about it and it was to how she would respond. Vivichi could cease to be his friend and he'd survive...just barely in his feelings. Of course she could accept his stupid past and continue being friends. One friend could help him a bunch as he continued to read his goal. No matter what now she was held as a friend in his gaze.

Vivichi kept quiet throughout the story. It was horrifying, making her heart pound as he told it. Tears welded in her eyes, but did not fall, and the only thing she could sum up to say was, "When I was assualted on that one day, I chose to ignore my flaw. I decided that no matter what happened I would still be the happy wolf I was born as. I wouldn't let an incident stop me from being a delight to be around. That was because I decided to stop living in my past, Jolon. What happened happened, and nothing can change that. The only thing you can change is the future, and living in the past is not going to make the future good. Stop living in your past Jolon. Stop fretting about your previous life, and show people who you are. If I was living in my past, no body would like me. Don't worry about being judged for who you were or what happened before, because then you are allowing them to. Be who you want people to think you are. Jolon, please, please don't worry about what happened before. I didn't judge you before you told me, and I won't after. Before I learned what had happened to you and your Pack I saw you as a good wolf, one who was happy, friendly, and cared for the good of others. I won't change that opinion because of what happened before I met you. Thank you for telling me this, Jolon. I appreciate it." She smiled. Then somthing else came to mind. "And Jolon is a very pretty name, even now that I know it has a meaning." Her eye beamed with a cheerful and understanding glow. And before she knew, a ways away she could see the elk they had killed together. "Looks like we made our way around the hill."
(that was a very long post you put. xD)

She tells me not to live in the past, but that's impossible! I loved my mother and father, but to keep me they had to get hurt...then they all died thanks to that fire. Wait, weren't there those dark shapes that smelled of soot? Could the Hellfirians be connected?! Jolon thought all this as he continued to listen to Vivi. Yes, she was right about not living in the past or it'll depress you, but she had also made him relive the event. By doing so he'd also made a connnection. Since the battle he didn't have time to fight thanks to Eurasia and Lilypad and all the drama, but he had seen similair shapes from his dreams and the fire. Perhaps fire could somehow control the Hellfirians or they were there to make a nuisance and make sure every wolf, even the innocent, were dead.
"Well Jolon is a very pretty name, even now that I know the meaning," Vivi then said and it roused him out of his thoughts enough to smell the carcass of their kill from earlier. "Yes, it does look like we have made it back. Are you in too much pain to reach camp?," he asked her. She'd continued to lean on him and it was the only thing from making him seep into his thoughts and do nothing right now. He'd probably just sit, or worse almost day-dreamish and walk around trying to tear everything apart. That's one reason wolves had stayed clear of him. His thoughts and dreams could take over if he was too depressed or feeling ambitious. Vivi was really helping him more than the pack had. She was making him feel better and take his mind off of things to help her. He didn't want her in pain so he waited her answer and stopped next to the kill with her leaning on him still.
((X3 yes it was! I had muse lol))

(Claps for Swifty! yay! And be a little careful there. You don't need to modify it, but you are powerplaying just a tiny bit there. Vivi could have decided to not lean on Jolon any time. It's fine though, just be careful) Vivi halted at the same time Jolon did, wondering what they should do. It wasn't getting late at all, because the sun was still high in the sky, bright and blazing, most likely mid afternoon, and her paw was acheing more, as if she had done more than a sprain. Inside she wailed in agony, but outside she simply pretended to be more than fine. "I'm capable to go back." She said, her eyes wincing slightly as she put her paw down. There was a crooked smile across her maw, close to opening wide to a miserable wail. She clenched her teeth as the paw was set on the earth, and when she looked down she noticed it had swollen to a massive shape. Vivichi tried to take a step, just to show she was okay, and as she shifted her weight to her injured paw, she fell with her face flat to the ground. That was when she let out a moan, long and painful, and she lifted her paw out from under her to examine it. Still, it looked like no more than a sprain, but unfortunately, Jolon was right. It had gotten much worse now, no longer looking like a normal paw, but swollen, bigger than the others. Her good eye stared at it for a long while before setting it down, and her thoughts ran to different things. For some reason, she was quite angry, and she wanted to hurt someone. Not just hurt, but make someone bleed, even kill. To sink her teeth into someones flesh. But it was just a random feeling. This feeling had absolutely nothing to do with the future or past or what was happening at that moment. It was something crazy the writer wanted to post.

Jolon watched as she tried out her paw now. It was really very swollen and she looked like she was in a lot of pain. He then noticed anger along with the pain in her eyes. Is she angery about the paw? "If you don't think you can walk all the way there maybe we can howl for help....if you want of course," he said kindly. Vivichi really looked in pain and he wanted to help a lot. The carcass had flies on it now, half-eaten, and the fun they had had changed how he felt about Vivi. No longer was she just a wolf who treated him unfairly, but a kind friend he needed to help. Jolon looked at her maw. It was being forced down to stop something from coming out. (you wrote that so not powerplaying) A butterfly then flitted across to them with it's wide wings and landed on a flower. ((no muse as you can tell Sorry for almost powerplaying back there, I didn't realize it. XD I added a butterfly just make this post longer. lol ))

(It wasn't a big deal. We all make little mistakes like that. I've had some low muse also, but it's coming back slowly. And butterflies are pretty, so there's no harm xD Very creative. Also, me, wolfie, and nighty are doing this thing with wolves with accents. I made four italian wolves, and I'm only using two, so if you'd like to have the other two go ahead. I think they have to be accepted first so...) Vivi stared at a butterfly with her one eye. It seemed Jolon was looking at it too. He had asked her if they should call for help, and the last thing she wanted to do was call her Clanmates over just for a sprained paw. "Uh, no." She said, a twinge of sourness in it. Right now she wasn't in her best moon, having to walk on three legs with a paw twice the size of others. "Listen, the longer we take the shorter time we have before it gets dark, and my paw is going to slow us down. We might as well go back instead of waiting for help to come and then have to walk back. Come on." The sour tone was gone, but it was definately impatient. Still, the whole time she was smiling, 1% frustrated and 99% pure joy. Vivichi was naturally a happy wolf, so the last thing you'd find her doing is yelling or acting totally mad. Sure, she was irritated, but the cheeriness will never die. Slowly, she turned and started to hobble her way on three legs, knowing her way back to home. Her breath was irregular as she breathed, and overall she was purely exhausted. All she wanted to do was sleep, but the day had been too exciting for her! The buzz of adrenaline wouldn't fade as she thought of her day with Jolon, how she'd met someone who didn't even care about her missing eye. He wasn't someone who would pretend they didn't notice and purposely not look into her eyes so they wouldn't offened her (though it did.). Jolon wasn't one of those who stared at her eye and knew her for that, not her personality. He wasn't even one of those who knew her for her personality and character, but part of them still knew her for her flaws. He was better. He saw her as perfect. At least, that's what it felt like to Vivi. Jolon saw her for her inner beauty, two eyes or one. "Jolon, you're a great friend." She whispered to him. (Kay, we can end the post here, or you can reply and then end it. Either way, I don't see the point in roleplaying them as they walk back to camp. )

(lol no problem. I was trying to find something to do after I made Vivi, and by look your thread was there. And you don't have to rp italian, just with an accent. Like, "I wanna two pees" for " I want two pieces."XD And I can hold a certain wolf for you if you want.
