((kk, I’ll send in Milo… but, Nighty, I won’t be here for about a week once you leave… might want to leave her to someone else until I get back XD))
Shrugging through the underbrush with a narrowed gaze, Milo led his fellow Sheerans toward the Twilight Clearing. The Proxy’s pale coat ruffled with uncertainty, his paws resting on ground all too recently stained with the blood of comrades. Glancing over his shoulder to witness the ranks of his packmates, he nodded and led the remainder of the way. Hopefully, Yago will join us soon… and it looks like we’re the last ones here, too. For a split second, his eyes wandered toward the Destinian ranks, wondering if Svel still remembered him, before he sat amongst the already gathered wolves.
Magic grew alert as the Yozorans filed in, but was disappointed with the absence of his former patient. Body by body slipped out from the Yozoran ranks, but Shade was not among them. Unless he’s late, it doesn’t look like he’s coming. Shade nearly died… makes sense that he isn’t fit to travel just yet. I just hope he’s doing alright.

Annelise swallowed a resignation as her eyes skimmed over the vast throng of wolves. Shade was not here tonight -- she'd expected as much, his injuries were grievous. But I need to speak with him, still. I'll have to find a way to see him after the meeting....if they had an herb healer I would say I was going to share medicinal news, etc., but they don't....damn, I'll just have to sneak out. I need to know if he's okay...and I never got to tell him what I meant to say before we were attacked...
Solaris and Natalia dipped into the Twilight Clearing, two siblings that, on first glance, were complete opposites. Natalia was a plume of silvery white, whereas Solaris was a shadowy dip of midnight. The milled about the clearing, searching for familiar faces.
Meg sulked into the clearing, face frozen in a crestfallen state. She kept her green eyes on the ground, not bothering to search for other neophytes. Styx had been her only friend. She didn't have many other ties to other wolves.

Jolon trotted in, his fur blending in with the night. Only his eyes glinting allowed him to be noticed at all. His first moonless meeting with his pack had come. All packs were here finally, and so it was time to get the meeting on. Maybe even he could allow other wolves to be his friends in other packs. This would work to his goal completely. First though he needed to figure out what exactly the blood mist's were planning. He sat watching all wolves, awaiting his turn to speak.

The mates bickered under their breath, approaching the clearing slightly behind the rest of their pack. The pair were matching brands of dark pelts, the femme's stature slightly smaller and leaner than the burly male's. "Saskia was our dear friend...maybe we should've stayed with him," the female debated. "And do what? We've said all that we can say, Olive, we'd only make ourselves miserable," Lyell murmured gently. Eventually Olive sighed and accepted this as true, and the two wound their way through the terras, following slowly behind the rest of their pack. Lyell caught sight of Jolon and padded next to him, Olive trodding after them. "Hello," Olive barked. "Hi Jolon," Lyell greeted him. "There's going to be a lot to talk about at this meeting, I wonder when it will---"
"AHHOOOOOOOO!!!" Crickets chirruped idly in the tall, damp grasses.
"Well then...it's time for this meeting to commence," Fireflight woofed, a small smile on her maw as she captured the attention of the hollow. She nodded to the other leaders present. "Who will speak first?"

(moonset the searchers from Sheeran are scouting right now not going to meeting XD )
Jolon was just about to answer the new wolves who had said hello to him when a howl erupted, signaling the meeting to start. Instead of talking he nodded a hello back. The grass was cool under his paws as he wondered what would be said and expla

Raffa watched the other packs slowly trickle in. Sitting, closed in to himself, he felt a light breeze ruffle his fur and shivered. Clearing his throat, he watched as two younger neophytes padded over to him. Rolling his eyes inwardly, he sighed when they began to speak to him. Their talking became a buzzing in his ears as he scanned the crowd. When he turned his head to face the four leaders, he felt a glow inside himself. Someday it could be like that for Bain and us. It would all be the same pack, just with different...quadrents...yes!
When the wolves had finished speaking, he simply walked away into the throng of wolves, hoping that they wouldn't follow him. He was simply not in the mood to deal with nosy little neophytes asking what happened and what didn't and how and why and when and where. Biting his lip, he looked up. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Melina had made small talk to a few of the wolves after her short conversation with Fireflight. When the last pack had trickled in and the scent had wafted into her nostrils, she found her paws automatically carrying her towards the middle of the crowd. Stopping suddenly, the new alphess turned and headed for the rock. Launching herself onto it, she looked down at the huge amount of wolves. Her stomach churned desperately as she felt the need to lay down. She was feeling quite nervous as it was. Ignoring the gawking of the wolves below, she too, waited for another leader to speak, for she wanted to really pay attention to know how to do it herself.

(Er...Nighty asked me to be Pernille since Wolfie's not gonna be here...so, I guess I'll just go ahead with that 0_o )
Pernille watched the other alphas through the corners of her eyes. Maybe I should just go first. I've never done this before, but I've seen it, at least. Fireflight apparently doesn't plan on it...Melina and Milo are new, too. Oh well, here it goes. She stepped forward on the stone, slightly in front of the other alphas now. "The battle at this Clearing a few weeks back was a shock to all of us, and each pack has suffered terrible losses and setbacks. I am working hard, in my position as beta, to push our pack back into a stronger position. The Yozorans lost a fierce warrior, Saskia, and a young neophyte, Autumn, was kidnapped with the fleeing enemies. We are currently working on retrieval plans, and in the meantime, we are ready and prepared for whatever enemy comes our way -- the Yozorans have not faltered in the least." She stepped back, relief flooding her chest as she inhaled the heated summer air. Well, glad that's over with.
(( I kinda made it generic on purpose...didn't really want her to be too involved with the conversing with the other leaders since she's not my char =P ))

Nectar blinked, watching Pernille give her speech. I wonder when our alphess will give her speech? Or maybe she already did... I wasn't really paying attention. She glanced around, looking for someone she might know.
Shaw nudged Blink, who was in the midst of nodding off, as Pernille started her speech. They watched attentively, then Blink dozed off again as Shaw watched the rock, waiting for another alpha to give a speech.
Ligua was still not here or anywhere because I am confused what to do with him.

Fireflight looked at the other leaders, deciding that she would step forward to speak next. The fire-pelted femme padded to the front of the group, voice ringing with clarity throughout the clearing. "The Destinians arrived late at the battle of this past moon, and for this, we are regretful, but we are credited all the same for helping chase of the last of the attackers -- while others were battered, the Destinians remained fresh and were able to chase them out with ease. The identity of our enemies remained veiled then, but I have spoken with my brave beta and senior, Toss, and he has told me of our nemesis of the past. He has told me of the wolves who call themselves 'Blood Mist'." She paused, gazing around the clearing with eyes set in certainty, daring anyone, even the alphas beside her, to defy her declaration.

His eyes slightly widened. Crow and Lyell had been right. Blood Mist's were back, but who was leading them this time. What tyrant came from their mists to lead these blood thirsty wolves from the dead. Jolon's ears were swiveled completely toward Firelight. He looked toward Lyell with a knowing gaze, who was sitting with him then at Olive who he had just met. Now what? Pernille had spoken for the Yozorans. Did that now make her alpha? She still had to claim it though to her pack and accept challenges if any. So many questions raced through his mind.

Melina felt her heart race as adreneline pounded through her ears. Her stomach was twisted in an uncomfortable way and she squinted as if she could not see the crowd. She snuffled quietly, her black nose wrinkling up. She watched everything the alpha's did from the confident way they kept their heads raised to the way they stepped forward. It almost felt as if she was a neophyte again, watching her mentor stalk a rabbit, her stomach twisting then too, for her nervousness was upon her. The tan fur that covered her everywhere lightly ruffled again through the breeze as her icy blue eyes scanned the crowd for familliar faces. She could not find Toss, whom Fireflight had just spoken about, and decided the old wolf may have just wanted to take a break and sleep. Seeing that no other wolves were stepping forward, Melina took a pawstep ahead and raised her head.
"As you see, I have been chosen to be the new alphess of the Siverians. For those who don't know me, I am Melina. My loyal Beta, Nightshade, will stay where she believes she belongs, as a wise and helpful Beta. As to the battle, the Siverians fought alongside many other of you wolves, and when we worked together we were able to drive them off. Sadly, they have taken one of our members, Freya, and we are praying at this moment that she is alive and well."
With that, Melina stepped back and nodded to the last alpha, heart beating violently as she held back a sneeze. Did I do well?

(( Er...Fliskeh *nods to last post* I had Fireflight speaking, but 'tis fine, we shall roll with it Hm...can I have someone speak for the Sheerans? )) Fireflight's eyes blinked wide as Melina stepped forward during her speech, though she had been in the midst of a dramatic pause, letting her conviction soak into the listening ears, Melina had apparently taken this as Fireflight's finish, and had stepped up to speak. A mingle of emotions swam through the Destinian alphess. What should I do? This is kinda awkward. A little offensive...or it would be, if she was an elder alpha, but she's new, she doesn't know how this works so well...even though she's seen Moonless Meetings before. I could call her out...that would just cause a scene, and animosity with the Siverians. We don't need that now, I need them to listen...I'll be smooth with it. It's not her fault, anyway, she looks really nervous...I'll be nice. Wait....maybe she knows I wasn't finished, just thought it conveiniant to introduce herself so she could say her piece, then we can get to the real issue...okay, yeah, that sounds good.Fireflight dipped her head to Melina "I congratulate your pack and your new position, Melina. Do the Sheerans have any news before we press on to the issue of our Blood Mist enemies?" She turned to Milo. (Anybody want to say the Sheeran piece? It can be generic like the one I did for Pernille, so don't worry too much )

Milo swallowed deeply, unaccustomed to giving speeches in front of his own pack, let alone the entire forest. Come on, you’ll be fine… just say your piece and it’ll be over. Nodding to Fireflight, the pale wolf stepped up to assume the temporary role of Sheeran Alpha, and recited his piece. “The Sheerans have been affected by the battle, same as the rest of you. A beloved Proeliator, Moonset, was lost, and we mourn her sacrifice.” He paused, wondering whether or not to mention Eurasia’s absence, before continuing. “One of our neophytes, Missing, has also been taken by the enemies. We’ve sent out scouting parties in pursuit of the beasts, and are currently awaiting results. We’re quickly recovering, and are ready for another assault should fate decide to test us.” Stepping back with a deep exhale, she looked to Fireflight to share her thoughts on BloodMist.
((hope that was alright XD I suck at being a leader))

Fireflight stepped forward once more, looking at each of the leaders in turn before speaking. "The evidence I have uncovered that Blood Mist have returned is undeniable. I have spoken to the seniors of my pack and they have confirmed the faces of Blood Mist match with the faces of this past battle. The Sheerans and Siverians know this well -- the night that fire exploded from the forest, your packs were attacked and you lost brave wolves. It seemed like a freak accident, but it wasn't. The Yozorans know this, also -- they are not behind the disappearences of Annelise, Weed, Shade, and the others. Is there any wolf who thinks that this is less than fact?" She turned back to the representatives, expression grim as she looked upon them.

Melina eyed her paws uncomfortably. Nobody seemed to be talking, and awkward silences weren't her thing. She always seemed to break them with an embarrasing noise or cleared her throat awkwardly or did something that just wasn't good. Pawing the rock casually, Melina watched some neophytes in the crowd look to eachother with wide eyes. Some of the other older wolves looked a bit distressed, but not as many showed it outwardly. Snuffling, Melina finally let the news sink in. Blood Mist was back? OH NO! She let in a sharp gasp, breaking the tranquil silence. Darn.
Her tail began to sink and she struggled to bring it back up. Taking her leader stance, Melina waited for the other's reactions.
